We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for life in the face of the curse of death. The precious blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, is our only hope and defense against the powers of darkness. We stand firmly on the truth that through His sacrifice, death has been defeated, and life eternal has been secured for all who believe.
First, we must address the mention of "sacred heart of Jesus" in this request. While we understand the sentiment behind this phrase, we want to gently remind you that Scripture does not teach us to pray to or through the heart of Jesus, but rather to pray in His name. Jesus Himself said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23 WEB). It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name alone that we pray.
Now, let us join together in prayer, pleading the precious blood of Jesus over this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We plead the precious blood of Jesus over this life that is under the threat of the curse of death. We declare that by His stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5 WEB), and by His blood, we have redemption and the forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7 WEB).
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of death and every curse that has been spoken or enacted against this life. We break every chain and every assignment of the enemy in the name of Jesus. We declare that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB).
Father, we ask that You would send Your angels to encamp around this life, to protect and defend it from every evil work (Psalm 91:11 WEB). We pray for a hedge of protection to be placed around them, that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).
We declare that this life is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no curse or plague shall come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10 WEB). We speak life, health, and wholeness over them, in the name of Jesus.
Lord, we ask that You would fill this life with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7 WEB). May they experience Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them, even in the valley of the shadow of death (Psalm 23:4 WEB).
We pray for a full and complete recovery, if it be Your will, and we trust in Your goodness and mercy. May this trial draw them closer to You, and may they experience Your love and grace in a new and powerful way.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to Your promises. We trust in You, and we declare that victory is ours through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
In times like these, it is crucial to remember that our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). We must put on the full armor of God, that we may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11 WEB).
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, trusting in God's promises and His unfailing love. Remember that He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1 WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB), and do not be afraid, for He has overcome the world (John 16:33 WEB).
Continue to pray without ceasing (1 Thessalonians 5:17 WEB), and trust in the Lord with all your heart, leaning not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5 WEB). He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).
