How do I start this chapter ? Well Kathryn and I are looking forward to tomorrow. We have a show to go to and Katie is doing her ballet dancing along with her friends. Katie is still enjoying all the clubs she can. Ballet, swimming and gymnastics. Full of energy. Joe still loves his gaming but we are slowly getting him outside more. With his autism he does like to relax in his own company but thank God he is now enjoying the fresh air a bit more.
God has blessed us with more time with the children and their mother still not being helpful. God teaches us to forgive others as we would like to be forgiven. This I am able to do. Yes there are times that Alex can still make me feel low or angry through her actions but I do know God is with us. I pray Alex comes to know God and her life is led by God. I do hope she hears His voice and turns to God for peace in her life. For His guidance and love. I have said before how hard it was when we split up because at that time I could not see God's wonderful plan for my life. For those of you reading this and are finding it hard to understand why such awful trials come into our lives, there is only one reason. God has better plans for you than you can ever imagine. Those who believe without seeing will be blessed abundantly. We may not be able to see God but God is everywhere in our lives and the lives of everyone else He has created. God loves us so much he gave us free will on if we want to follow Him or not. God does not force Himself upon us. The world is a mess and there are dark forces everywhere. Why does God not step in I am asked. God's will is being done as we live our lives. God wants us to follow Him and love Him freely, without question. God's love is so powerful and amazing. At no point did God say life would be easy. In fact He told us the opposite when He spoke to Adam and Eve after they had sinned. Jesus died for each and every one of us, sinners as we are. If God can forgive me for my sins then surely I must be able to forgive those that have caused myself distress and pain. Our God sent his Son to die a horrible criminals death. It is mind blowing He would do this for us.
Kathryn is slowly getting her faith back. Her mother died when Kathryn was young. Kathryn was angry, hurt, upset and confused. When people are taken from us to be with God we find it difficult most of the time. God wants everyone in His Kingdom, young and old. I cannot see what will happen in the rest of my life but I know 100% God is walking beside me, Kathryn and my family. Praise God, thank You God for each and every blessing in my life.
