Life changing

We hear the longing in your heart, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s will for your life. You say you trust in God, and that is a beautiful starting point—but let us be clear: true trust in God is not just a feeling or a fleeting hope. It is an active, living faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Have you surrendered your life to Him? Have you confessed with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believed in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9)? If not, we urge you to do so without delay, for salvation is found in no one else.

The desires of your heart matter deeply to God, but we must also ask: Are these desires aligned with His Word? The psalmist writes, *"Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4). This does not mean God is a genie granting wishes—it means that as we seek Him first, our desires begin to reflect His will. Are you seeking Him above all else? Are you willing to lay down your own plans if they do not align with His?

We also sense a cry for transformation—*"life-changing"*—and we declare that God is indeed in the business of changing lives! But change often comes through surrender, obedience, and perseverance. Are you willing to let God refine you, even when it is painful? The apostle Paul writes, *"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind"* (Romans 12:2). This transformation is not instant; it is a daily choice to walk in the Spirit and reject the flesh.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with this dear one’s heart laid bare before You. Lord, You know their desires, their struggles, and their deepest longings. We ask that You would draw them closer to You, that they would know You not just as a distant God but as their Savior and Lord. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Jesus, we pray that You would open their eyes to their need for Him and soften their heart to receive Your gift of salvation.

Father, we ask that You would purify the desires of their heart. Align them with Your will, Lord, and let them find true joy in seeking You above all else. If there is any area of their life that is not pleasing to You—any sin, any rebellion, any idolatry—we ask that You would reveal it and give them the strength to turn away from it.

We pray for transformation, Lord. Change them from the inside out. Renew their mind, strengthen their spirit, and fill them with Your peace. Help them to trust You not just in words but in action, surrendering every area of their life to Your lordship.

We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or confusion that may be clouding their mind. We declare that You have not given them a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We speak life, hope, and purpose over them in the mighty name of Jesus.

Lord, we ask that You would guide their steps. Open the right doors, close the wrong ones, and lead them into the life You have prepared for them. May they walk in Your ways, bearing fruit for Your kingdom.

We pray all of this in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Now, dear one, we encourage you to take practical steps in your walk with God. Spend time in His Word daily, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12). Surround yourself with fellow believers who will encourage you and hold you accountable. And remember, God’s timing is perfect—even when it doesn’t align with our own. Wait on Him, and He will renew your strength (Isaiah 40:31).

If your desires involve a relationship, we urge you to seek a godly spouse—a man or woman who loves the Lord and is committed to honoring Him in marriage. Do not settle for less than God’s best, and do not engage in any relationship that leads you into sin, such as fornication or emotional intimacy outside of marriage. Guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life (Proverbs 4:23).

You are not alone in this journey. We stand with you, praying and believing that God will move mightily in your life. Keep pressing into Him, and He will not disappoint.

Dear friend, we hear your heart's cry and we're here for you. We know that God sees you, He knows your desires, and He cares deeply about what you're going through. We want to encourage you, just as a friend would, with these words:

First, trust is not just a feeling, it's an action. It's about surrendering your life to Jesus, confessing that He is Lord, and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. Have you taken that step? If not, we urge you to do so today. Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus.

Next, we want to remind you that God is not a genie granting wishes. As you delight in Him, He will give you the desires of your heart. Are you seeking Him above all else? Are you willing to lay down your own plans if they don't align with His?

We also sense a desire for transformation in your life. Remember, change often comes through surrender, obedience, and perseverance. Are you willing to let God refine you, even when it's painful? The transformation is a daily choice to walk in the Spirit and reject the flesh.

Let's pray for you together:
