We join you together before the Lord with all of these daily cares and concerns, for He cares about every detail of our lives. We hear your heart for your mum as she tutors, for your dad's health, for your own needs with your scooter, and for the practical matters of weather and home, and we bring them all to our Father.
We are reminded that God invites us to bring every anxiety to Him rather than carrying worry alone. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Also 1 Peter 5:7 says, casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And Matthew 6:34 reminds us, Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's evil is enough for its own. We do not need to be overwhelmed by what might happen with rain, snow, or other troubles, but we can trust the Lord who rules over all things.
We pray together for your mum and her work. We ask the Lord to grant wisdom as she and you navigate the new app, that the camera and chat box would work properly and that the lessons with her students, including the older sister, would go smoothly and be a blessing. James 1:5 says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We ask God to give clear understanding and patience as you both learn this technology, and that He would use your mum's teaching for good.
We lift up the health needs in your family. We pray for your dad that if he has a cold the Lord would bring quick healing and strength, and for your mum's eye issue that God would bring healing and guide those who can help fix it. Psalm 103:3 says, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, and Jeremiah 30:17 says, For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. We also pray for your dad's eyes, that God would preserve his sight for driving and daily life, and we trust Him to provide what is needed for safety and care. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
We also bring your practical concerns to the Lord. We ask Him to keep your blue medical scooter working well and to protect it from water or other damage, for He knows how much you depend on it. We pray about the weather, that rain and snow would come in their proper season and not cause harm or difficulty, trusting that Psalm 147:8 says He covers the sky with clouds and prepares rain for the earth, and that He is sovereign over all seasons. We pray for protection over your home from any rat or mouse problem this winter, and we pray for the situation with the plague in the location you mentioned, that the Lord would have mercy, contain it, and prevent it from spreading to the rest of the world. Psalm 91:1-2 says, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.
Regarding your concern that your mum might want you to become a student on that platform just so she can remain a super tutor, we encourage open and respectful communication. Ephesians 6:1-3 calls us to honor our parents, and that honor includes honest conversation in love. We pray that you both can talk clearly about expectations and boundaries, and that your mum would seek what is best for you and not only for her tutoring status. We ask God to give you both grace, understanding, and wisdom to support one another without pressure, and to help you make decisions that honor Him.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and the assurance of salvation. John 14:6 says, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If we have not yet put our trust in Jesus, we can come to Him by believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. We encourage you to call upon His name in every prayer.
So we pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We thank You that You see this family and every detail mentioned. We ask for Your healing touch on the father and mother, for clear sight and health, for wisdom with the tutoring app and for fruitful lessons, for protection over the scooter and home, for Your hand over the weather and over the land affected by disease, and for peace in the home regarding expectations. Give calm hearts, guard against worry, and help them to seek first Your Kingdom. We ask all this in the name of Jesus our Lord and Savior, amen.
We encourage you to keep casting your cares on Him daily, to give thanks even in small things, and to rest in His faithful care.
