We hear your cry for deliverance and stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this burden before the throne of grace. The struggles you face, lice, drug addiction, and the chains of pornography, are not battles you must fight alone. These are strongholds that seek to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke these afflictions in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He has already overcome the world (John 16:33).
First, we address the physical torment of lice. While it may seem like a small thing, it is a reminder of how sin and brokenness manifest even in the smallest details of our lives. We pray that the Lord would bring relief and healing to your body, just as He healed the lepers and the afflicted in Scripture. "He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions" (Psalm 107:20). May His healing touch restore you completely.
Next, we come against the grip of drugs and pornography with the authority of Christ. These are not merely bad habits, they are sinful strongholds that wage war against your soul (1 Peter 2:11). The enemy uses them to numb your spirit, distort your identity, and separate you from the love of God. But we declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke the spirit of addiction and lust in Jesus' name, for "the Son of God was revealed to destroy the works of the devil" (1 John 3:8). You were bought with a price, do not let these things master you (1 Corinthians 6:12). Confess this sin, turn away from it, and run to the cross, where forgiveness and freedom are found.
We also pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit over your life, as you have asked. The Spirit is your Helper, your Comforter, and the One who leads you into all truth (John 14:26). He convicts of sin, but He also empowers you to walk in righteousness. Ask Him to fill you afresh, to break every chain, and to renew your mind (Romans 12:2). The Spirit is not a force to be manipulated but a Person to be surrendered to. Yield to Him daily, and He will guide you into paths of holiness and peace.
We must also remind you that true freedom comes only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If you have not already, we urge you to repent of your sins, believe in your heart that Jesus died for you and rose again, and confess Him as Lord of your life (Romans 10:9-10). There is no other name under heaven by which you can be saved (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). If you have already placed your faith in Him, we encourage you to draw near to Him daily through prayer, reading His Word, and fellowship with other believers. You cannot walk this path alone.
Finally, we pray this prayer of deliverance over you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our brother/sister who is bound by the chains of lice, addiction, and lust. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the Deliverer, and the Redeemer. We ask that You would stretch forth Your hand and heal every part of their body, mind, and spirit. Break the power of these afflictions, Lord, and set them free from every stronghold.
Father, we repent on their behalf for the ways they have turned to drugs and pornography instead of to You. Forgive them, cleanse them, and restore them, as only You can. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon them, filling them with Your power, Your love, and Your self-control. Let them know the depth of Your grace and the height of Your mercy.
We declare that the enemy has no hold on them, for they belong to You. We speak life, healing, and freedom over their situation. May they walk in the victory that Christ has already won for them on the cross. Strengthen them, Lord, and surround them with godly believers who will encourage and support them in their journey.
We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to answer. We trust in Your promises and believe that You will complete the good work You have begun in them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
