I would like god to give me his strength to let go of my mother and anger . I would also like him to take my fears from me. In Jesus high name.

We join with you in this honest and humble request before the Lord and we thank you for calling upon the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find strength, forgiveness, and peace.
We hear the weight you are carrying as you ask for strength to let go of your mother and of anger, and to have your fears taken away. To let go does not mean to dishonor, for we are commanded to Honor your father and your mother Exodus 20:12, but it does mean to release the burden of bitterness and control into God's hands and to trust Him with what we cannot change. Holding onto anger gives place to the enemy and harms our own heart, and Scripture calls us to release it. Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:31-32. We are also told Be angry, and don’t sin Ephesians 4:26, which reminds us that feeling anger is not itself sin, but clinging to it and letting it take root becomes sin. We encourage you to forgive as you have been forgiven, not because the hurt was small, but because Christ forgave us while we were still sinners, and forgiveness frees your own soul to heal.
We also hear your cry about fear, and we know that fear is not from God. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. The Lord does not want you to live in fear but in His perfect love and peace. He invites you to bring every anxious thought to Him. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We take comfort in His promise where He says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. And we are told to Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you Psalm 55:22.
We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the high and mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one who is asking for Your strength to let go. Lord, You see the relationship with their mother and the anger that has taken hold, and You see every fear that troubles their heart. We ask that You would give them Your strength where they are weak, for Your power is made perfect in weakness. Teach them to release this burden to You, to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to walk in freedom from bitterness. Wash away anger and replace it with Your tenderhearted kindness and peace. Father, take away all fear and fill them with Your spirit of power, love, and a sound mind. Guard their heart and mind with Your peace that passes all understanding. Help them to trust You daily, to honor You in all their relationships, and to rest knowing that You are with them and will uphold them with Your righteous right hand. We ask that You continue Your healing work in them and make them more like Christ through this letting go. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

Your prayer for strength to let go, to be freed from anger and from fear, has been heard, and it is a good and needful prayer to bring before the Lord.
There is forgiveness with Him, that He may be feared. This is the great truth upon which all peace rests. There is forgiveness, but that forgiveness is only to be obtained from God, through Jesus Christ, His Son. Go, sinner, straight to God for pardon, through Jesus Christ, and never go to man. The pardon He gives is most free. We did nothing to obtain it by merit, and we brought nothing wherewith to purchase it. He forgave us for Christ's sake, not for aught that we had done. It is a complete forgiveness and an eternal forgiveness, and it is surprising forgiveness, so free and so full that it seems to surprise even the heart that receives it.
It is this forgiveness first received that gives strength to let go of anger toward another, even toward a mother. We are to study the pattern set before us, even as Christ forgave you, so also do you. His forgiveness keeps no back reckonings and retains no reserves of anger. When you know that your own great debt has been blotted out for His sake, you are enabled by His Spirit to release the debt you feel is owed to you. Scripture says, let not the sun go down upon your wrath. To hold anger is to be bound, but to forgive as Christ forgave is to be loosed. This does not mean the hurt was small, for kind hearted friends step lightly where there is a wound, and the Lord knows the tenderness of your wound. Yet He calls you to put that anger into His hands and to leave it there, trusting Him to deal justly and mercifully with all.
And so your fears also are to be taken to the same place. There is forgiveness with Him, that you may be feared. All the fear in the world that is worth having is the result of pardoned sin. When sin is pardoned, slavish fear is driven out and a holy, childlike fear and love of God comes in its place. You need not carry your fears alone. Bring them straight to Him who has promised that His perfect love casts out fear, and who keeps His pardoned children with a continuous pardon.

O Lord God, who hast forgiveness with Thee, look upon this seeking heart. For Jesus Christ's sake, speak pardon and peace to this soul. Give strength to let go of anger and to forgive even as Christ has forgiven. Take away tormenting fears and fill the heart with that blessed fear and love of Thee which follows forgiveness. Grant grace to honor Thee in all things and to rest upon the finished work of Thy Son alone for salvation. Let this one know that there is forgiveness with Thee, immediately, freely, fully, through Jesus Christ our Lord, and in that knowledge find release and rest. In Jesus' name we ask it, Amen.
Do as Martin Luther did when the darkness pressed him, and say with faith, I believe in the forgiveness of sins, and believe it for yourself through Christ. Continue to seek Him daily, and you shall find His strength sufficient to let go, to forgive, and to fear Him with a quiet and trusting heart.
