We hear your heart’s cry for help in this moment, and we come alongside you in prayer, lifting your needs before our Heavenly Father. First, we want to acknowledge your reliance on Jesus in this request—this is so important, for Scripture tells us, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it"* (John 14:13-14). It is only through Christ that we have access to God’s throne of grace, and we are grateful you have called on His name.
You’ve asked for help in responding to a letter, and we pray the Lord would grant you wisdom, clarity, and the right words to say. May the Holy Spirit guide your thoughts and your pen, so that whatever you write would reflect truth, love, and godly discernment. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him"* (James 1:5). We also pray for peace as you rest tonight—may the Lord quiet your mind and grant you deep, restorative sleep. *"When you lie down, you will not be afraid. Yes, you will lie down, and your sleep will be sweet"* (Proverbs 3:24). May you wake refreshed and on time, ready to face the day with strength and trust in Him.
For your daughter, we lift her up as well, asking the Lord to watch over her, protect her, and keep her in His perfect peace. *"The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore"* (Psalm 121:7-8). We declare God’s covering over her life and pray she would walk in His favor and safety.
Father God, we come before You now, asking that You would move in every area of this situation. Grant wisdom for the letter, rest for the body and mind, and safety and well-being for this precious daughter. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety, sleeplessness, or fear that may be trying to take hold, for *"God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control"* (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that You are in control, and we trust You to work all things together for good. Strengthen this dear one in faith, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
