LETS PRAY dear lord it,s so easy for me to get caught up in the desire for material things and the busyness of everyday living and forget to put you first in my life. but father i know how wrong that is. teach me how to keep my life in balance, following the example you have set for me. open my eyes and open my heart to true wealth the kind that will last for eternity.




Not necessarily "wrong", because the Father wants you to prosper and to have the desires of your heart. You may do a lot of good things, but they may not be the "best things". We follow Jesus and listen to God in order to accomplish His purpose for us in our lives. Any time we sense we are not on the right path and really desire to do God's Will, we are then on the right path of God's Will for our lives. We then decide which path to follow from that point on. Your prayer indicates you are "now" on the right path to accomplish what God wants you to accomplish in your life. Base all your next decisions and the rest of your life on the Word and the 2 commandments of Jesus, and the scripture which says, "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all things shall be added unto you". Sometimes we can be doing the Will of the Father and our lives can still seem to be "out of balance". But when that happens "we" keep our eyes and heart open to the Word and listen to what the Word has to tell us and also hear from the Holy Spirit.
