Most wonderful Father creator of all heaven and earth you have ordained Marriage as one of your Holy sacraments. You Lord abhor divorce.
You Lord created man and woman for each other, You brought us together in Holy Matrimony to become as one in you. Lord, I pray in the name of your Son Jesus that you speak to the hearts of all prodigals. Never cease to remind them of your unfailing and unconditional love for them even though they are doing what does not accord to your will.
Send your ministering angels to speak to them of the turmoil, anxiety, and pain they are causing their spouses. Let them be aware that as our duty we will continue to stand in the gap for them. We will continue to pray for their deliverance. We will never tire of praying.
Father, thank you for showing us your way, the excellent way. Continue to provide guidance in these times of uncertainty. We know Lord that you will never leave us or forsake us. Our earthly friends may fail us but Jesus never fails. We are certain you will do the same for our spouses soon.
Teach us to be patient as you know what you have in store for us.
In this time of separation, teach us, Father, to be better husbands and wives, teach us to be more loving and tolerant of each other. Most of all, teach us to call upon You and to be ever faithful to your Word.
Father, for this weekend and beyond, weaken the enemy's stronghold on all prodigals. Plant and water in the hearts of all prodigals seeds of righteousness, godness, truth, and honesty. Lord, put in a special appearance this weekend in the lives of all prodigals and invite them to your home where peace, joy, and love reside in abundance.
Let them know Satan is a liar and he will continue to fool them with all the glittery things this life offers. Then he uses them and throws them away.
Let them know that you will be with them until the end of time. Your love is real, not counterfeit. It is genuine.
Finally, Father, we thank you for all the gifts you have given us and all those that you will bestow on us today and in the days to come. Thank you for being our friend. In Jesus' name, I commit all our prayers, concerns, and circumstances. Amen.
