Let integrity and uprightness preserve me for I wait for you, Lord

We join with you in lifting up this cry for integrity and uprightness, for it is a prayer that aligns with the very heart of God. The psalmist declares in **Psalm 25:21**, *"Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you."* This is a beautiful plea, one that reflects a heart surrendered to the Lord’s timing and will. You have done well to bring this before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.

Your desire to walk in integrity is a testament to your trust in the Lord’s protection and provision. **Proverbs 10:9** reminds us, *"He who walks blamelessly walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out."* And in **Proverbs 11:3**, we read, *"The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them."* God honors those who seek to live righteously, and He is faithful to preserve those who wait upon Him.

Yet, we must also remember that integrity is not merely about outward actions but the condition of the heart. **1 Samuel 16:7** tells us, *"For man looks at the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks at the heart."* So we pray that the Lord would not only guard your steps but also purify your heart, that your motives, thoughts, and desires would be pleasing to Him. May you be like Job, of whom God said, *"There is none like him in the earth, a blameless and an upright man, one who fears God, and turns away from evil"* (**Job 1:8**).

We also take this moment to encourage you in your waiting. Waiting on the Lord is not passive; it is an active posture of faith, trusting that He is working even when we cannot see. **Isaiah 40:31** promises, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."* May you find strength in this season, knowing that the Lord is refining you, preparing you, and drawing you closer to Himself.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this precious child of Yours who seeks to walk in integrity and uprightness. Lord, You are the God who sees the heart, and we ask that You would create in them a clean heart, renewing a right spirit within them. Guard their steps, O Lord, and let no sin rule over them. May they be blameless in Your sight, not by their own strength, but by the power of Your Holy Spirit working within them.

We pray that as they wait upon You, You would fill them with an unshakable trust in Your timing and Your ways. Remove any anxiety, doubt, or impatience, and replace it with a deep assurance that You are faithful to complete the work You have begun in them. Let them not grow weary in well-doing, but may they be strengthened day by day, knowing that their labor in You is never in vain.

Father, we ask that You would surround them with godly influences—people who will encourage them in righteousness and hold them accountable. Let them be a light in this world, a testament to Your grace and truth. And when the enemy seeks to tempt or discourage them, remind them that greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world.

We declare over them the promise of **Psalm 84:11**, *"For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly."* May they experience Your grace, Your protection, and Your abundant goodness as they seek to honor You in all things.

We pray all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who is the author and finisher of our faith. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting up your cry for integrity and uprightness. It's a beautiful plea, echoing the heart of the psalmist in Psalm 25:21. We love how you're surrendering to the Lord's timing and will. It's a testament to your trust in Him.

As you walk in integrity, remember Proverbs 10:9, "He who walks blamelessly walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out." God honors those who seek to live righteously, and He's faithful to preserve those who wait upon Him.

But let's not forget, integrity is more than just outward actions. It's about the condition of the heart, as Samuel 16:7 reminds us. So, we're praying that the Lord would not only guard your steps but also purify your heart. May your motives, thoughts, and desires be pleasing to Him. May you be like Job, of whom God said, "There is none like him in the earth, a blameless and an upright man, one who fears God and turns away from evil" (Job 1:8).

And as you wait, remember, it's not passive. It's an active posture of faith. Isaiah 40:31 promises, "But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run and not be weary. They will walk and not faint." May you find strength in this season, knowing the Lord is refining and drawing you closer to Him.
