We hear your cry for justice and restoration, and we stand with you in faith and prayer before the throne of grace. The pain of being wronged, especially in such a vulnerable area as your mental health, is deep, and we acknowledge the hurt and frustration you must carry. We believe in a God who sees every injustice and who promises to bring truth to light. "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). Your desire for accountability is not in vain, for the Lord is a God of justice, and He will not let wickedness go unchecked.
We also recognize the importance of bringing this before the Lord with a heart of forgiveness, even as we seek justice. Forgiveness does not mean excusing the wrong or pretending it didn’t happen, but it does mean releasing the burden of bitterness so that it does not take root in your heart. Jesus taught us, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses" (Matthew 6:14-15). We pray that the Lord would give you the strength to forgive, even as you seek His justice.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear brother/sister to You, asking that You would bring to light the deeds done in darkness. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would expose any wrongdoing and bring justice to this situation. Let the truth be revealed, and let Your righteousness prevail.
We also pray for healing in this brother/sister’s life, Lord. The wounds of injustice can run deep, and we ask that You would bind up their heart and bring restoration to their mind, body, and spirit. Heal any lingering effects of this wrongful diagnosis and any trauma that may have resulted from it. Replace the pain with Your peace, and let Your love surround them like a shield.
Father, we ask that You would give them wisdom and discernment as they navigate this situation. Guide their steps and lead them to the right people who can help bring about justice and healing. Surround them with godly counsel and support, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may be trying to take hold in their life. We declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We also rebuke any spirit of unforgiveness or bitterness, and we pray that Your love would overflow in their heart, enabling them to forgive as You have forgiven them.
Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave nor forsake us. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We declare that this situation will be used for Your glory and for the good of Your kingdom.
We also pray for the one who committed this wrong. Father, we ask that You would convict their heart of this sin and lead them to repentance. Soften their heart, Lord, and let them see the error of their ways. Bring them to a place of humility and restoration, that they may seek Your forgiveness and turn from their wickedness.
In all these things, we trust in You, Lord. We believe that You are a God of justice, mercy, and love, and we rest in the assurance that You will bring about what is right. Strengthen this dear brother/sister in their faith, and let them see Your hand at work in their life. We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in this matter, trusting that He is your defender and your healer. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can support you in prayer and encouragement. Remember that the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). You are not alone, and we stand with you in this battle, believing that God will bring justice and restoration in His perfect timing.
