We join with you in bringing this legal matter before the Lord and we thank you for closing your request in the name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have confidence to approach the throne of grace.
We understand the weight that comes with deadlines, paperwork, and waiting on a court's decision, especially when it concerns assistance for those who are vulnerable, disabled, and suffering from abuse and trauma. Our God is a God of justice and mercy who calls us to care for those in need. He says in Psalm 82:3, Defend the weak and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. And in Isaiah 1:17, Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow. We take comfort that the Lord sees those who are suffering and draws near to them, as Psalm 34:18 reminds us, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
We also hear your concern for accuracy and timeliness and we are encouraged to commit our work to the Lord. Proverbs 16:3 says, Commit your works to Yahweh, and your plans shall be established. And Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. We encourage you to continue in diligence, to double check every detail, to seek wise counsel if needed, and to do all as working for the Lord, trusting that He is sovereign over even the courts and those in authority, for Romans 13:1 reminds us that authorities are appointed by God.

Your burden has been laid before the Lord with us, and we join our hearts with yours in prayer concerning this legal paperwork and the extended deadline set before you.
We are reminded as we pray that there are lower courts and a higher court. The tribunal of conscience and the courts of men are needful and ordained, yet they are not supreme, for God is greater than our heart and knows all things. He who presides in the High Court of Heaven is both just and the justifier, in whom justice never eclipses mercy, nor mercy justice. In Christ we have seen justice satisfied and mercy displayed, for the cloud of justice fell upon the Saviour's heart that we might receive a full discharge. Knowing this, we may come with confidence to ask for justice and mercy to be shown also in the affairs of this lower court.
We pray that the Lord in His providence would grant wisdom and diligence to every hand that prepares these papers, that no error or omission would hinder them, and that they may be completed correctly and received by the court before the time appointed. We ask that He would incline the hearts of those who sit in judgment to act as faithful men who love truth and righteousness, that they may judge wisely and with compassion. Especially we bring before Him those who are disabled and those who have suffered abuse and trauma, who are so often weak and without helper. May the Lord who is slow to anger and plenteous in mercy, who defends the afflicted, cause needful assistance to be continued to them and not withheld.
O Father, we entreat Thee for favor in this matter according to Thy perfect justice and Thy tender mercy. Let what is done be done in truth and uprightness, and let Thy will be accomplished. We leave this cause, and all who suffer, in Thy hands, trusting that Thou doest right, and that Thou wilt not forget the cry of the needy.
