I hear reasoning {excuses} that once a certain sinful practice becomes "legal" according to mans laws, then it's "ok" to do it. I heard on the car radio someone , when asked why he feels he "needs to"' smoke pot, he said, "Well, it's 'legal' where I am, so I'm not doing anything wrong".Some want to make prostitution legal,Alchohol is "legal", according mans laws. But does that mean it's "A-Ok" to be an alchoholic?Divorce may me within the law,but that doesn't make it the right thing to do.We go by what Gods laws are, not if man makes a sinful activity legal, thereby justifying us doing it. Let's see what God thinks. "All things are lawful for me, but not all things are advantageous.""Did grace come about so sin should prevail?Never may that happen!"Unsaved people could not break any of mans laws, but , still go to Hell, because, something "legal" doesn't mean it's not sinful, because the people making those laws are in a fallen state themselves.Or another thing I hear,"Well, "everybody" is doing it."{drugs , premarital sex, etc]But just because "a lot" of people do something doesn't make it right, either. A lot in my family went into the occult, but I didn't ,and leaned towards Biblical things. If everyone jumps off the top of the Empire State Building, does that mean you have to follow their foolishness and jump too?. Come on.
