Landlord

Disciple of Prayer
I continue praying that my landlord will allow me to continue living and dwelling in this all I found out that I had lived here for a total of ### years before he comes my landlord and I just asked Jesus please allow me to continue to live in this home as this is my ### years of life living here amen

We join you in lifting this burden to the Lord and we hear how deeply this home means to you after so many years of living and dwelling there. It is a blessing that you have brought this request directly to Jesus, for He cares about every detail of our lives and He invites us to bring our anxieties to Him.

We are reminded of what is written in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And also in Proverbs 21:1, The king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. Your landlord's heart is in the Lord's hands, and we trust that God is able to soften it and to grant favor if it is His will.

We also take comfort that our truest dwelling is in the Lord Himself, as it says in Psalm 91:1, He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Whether He allows you to remain in this house or leads you elsewhere, He promises to be your shelter and to provide for your needs as you seek Him first, for Matthew 6:33 tells us, But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

We pray together with you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You that our friend has called upon the name of Jesus. We ask for Your mercy and Your will to be done concerning this home. Lord, You know the many years that have been spent living there and the attachment and need tied to this dwelling. We ask that You would touch the heart of the landlord and grant favor, understanding and kindness, and if it is Your perfect will, allow our friend to continue to live and dwell there in peace. Give wisdom in every conversation and interaction, that it may be marked by grace, respect and honesty. And Lord, guard our friend's heart with Your peace that surpasses understanding, so that whatever the outcome, there will be trust that You are working all things together for good as You promise in Romans 8:28. Provide, Father, a secure place to live and let Your provision be clear. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray and to also walk in a way that honors the Lord in this situation, communicating with your landlord with gentleness and respect, being faithful in your responsibilities as a tenant, and trusting that God sees your need for a home. Keep seeking Him daily and resting in the assurance that He is your provider and your true home, and He will not forsake you.

We hear how heavy this is for you. To have lived in the same home for so many years, it is not just an address, it is where your life has unfolded, and the thought of having to leave is unsettling. We are standing with you in prayer as you wait for your landlord's decision.

It is good you have brought this directly to Jesus. We join you in asking for His peace over you right now and for wisdom and favor in the conversations ahead.

One gentle step that sometimes helps in this kind of wait is to put your request in writing to your landlord in a brief, respectful note. Thank him for the opportunity to live there, share how long you have called it home and your hope to remain, and ask if there is anything he needs from you to consider that. Keep a copy and keep paying rent and caring for the place as you have. If uncertainty continues, a local housing assistance office or a trusted community advocate can help you understand your options calmly without escalating things.

Father, we lift our friend to You. You know this home and every year spent there. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, for kindness and clarity between them and their landlord, and for Your provision and guidance whatever the next step is. Lead them in Your will and let them know You are near. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your heartfelt prayer concerning your home and the desire to remain where you have dwelt for so many years, and we join with you in bringing this need before the Lord.

It is right to ask the Lord for His mercy in such things, for as it has been well said, the house in which we dwell in this life has God for its Landlord, and we are only tenants. Your breath and your continued possession of your existence every day is owed to Him, and He holds the hearts of all, even those who hold earthly authority over our dwellings, in His hands. We pray that He would move upon your landlord with kindness and favor, and grant you, if it be His gracious will, to continue in peace in the place you have long called home.

At the same time we would remind you of a still deeper comfort, that the Eternal God Himself is our mansion and our dwelling place. When we have Him, we have a home that cannot be taken away. At home one feels safe, and if God is our home, we are safe indeed, for underneath are the everlasting arms. Whether He appoints for us to remain or to remove, He Himself remains our abiding place and our support.

We pray for you now, that the Lord would grant you stability and peace in this uncertainty, that He would provide for your dwelling according to His wisdom and love, and that the word of Christ would dwell in you richly, giving you confidence and quiet trust as you wait upon Him.

Father, we lift this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, through whom alone we have access to Your throne of grace. Look with compassion upon this need for a home. Grant favor with the landlord and provision for continued dwelling if it be for good, and above all let this soul know that You are the true and everlasting home. Establish the heart in trust, and let Your perfect and unchanging care be felt in this season. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Savior, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer concerning your home has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord. To have lived so many years in one dwelling place creates deep roots, and it is natural to desire to remain there with peace and stability.

We pray with you in the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father and hope for every good gift. We ask Him to show you mercy in this situation, to give favor in the eyes of your landlord, and to grant you wisdom and grace in all your dealings with him. If it is according to His good will, may the Lord incline your landlord's heart to allow you to continue dwelling there. Above all we ask that you would know God's provision and presence, whether He keeps you in this home or leads you to another place of refuge.

Remember how Christ honored the humility of the centurion who said he was not worthy that Jesus should come under his roof, and yet the Lord showed favor to him. In the same way, come before God with a humble and quiet confidence, trusting not in our worthiness but in His loving kindness. He hears the simple and sincere prayer offered in faith.

We encourage you to continue to pray with patience, to speak with your landlord with respect and gentleness, and to trust that God sees your need and will provide what is best for you. He honors those who honor Him, and He cares for every detail of our lives.

Father in heaven, we lift up this need to You in the name of Jesus. Grant peace in this uncertainty, grant wisdom for each conversation and decision, and grant a home where Your name may be honored and Your peace may dwell. Give assurance that Your will is good, and help our brother or sister to rest in Your care. Amen.
