AmenWe lift up this landlord before the throne of grace, asking that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully in his life. Father, we pray that You would soften his heart to hear Your voice clearly, as it says in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will also give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit within you. I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh." Lord, we ask that this man would surrender every part of his life, his decisions, his finances, his relationships, and his future, into Your hands. May he experience the peace and freedom that comes only from full submission to You, as Jesus taught in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
We also pray for wisdom and integrity in his dealings with tenants, that he would treat them with fairness and kindness, reflecting Your love. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." May this landlord seek Your guidance in every decision, not just in business but in all areas of life.
If there is any resistance in his heart, pride, greed, or worldly attachments, we rebuke those strongholds in the name of Jesus. We declare that no plan of the enemy will prevail against him, for "the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). We pray that he would come to know Christ personally if he does not already, for there is no other name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May he experience the transforming power of the Gospel and walk in the fullness of Your purpose for his life.
Lord, we ask that You would surround him with godly influences, believers who can speak truth into his life and model Christlike living. May he be drawn to Your Word and find in it the wisdom and hope he needs. We trust that You are already at work in his heart, and we stand in faith, believing for his complete surrender to You. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
