We come before the Lord with a heavy heart for your landlord, lifting him up in prayer and asking that the Holy Spirit would move mightily in his life. Father, we know that no one can come to You unless the Spirit draws them, and so we plead for a divine encounter that would break through any hardness of heart. "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day." (John 6:44 WEB) We ask that You would reveal Yourself to this man in a way that leaves no doubt, through dreams, through circumstances, through the witness of believers, or even through the still, small voice that speaks directly to the soul.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of pride, greed, or worldly ambition that may be blinding him to Your truth. We declare that the god of this world has no hold over him, and we command every stronghold to be torn down in the name of Jesus. "For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God, and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." (2 Corinthians 10:4-5 WEB) We pray that his heart would be softened, his eyes opened, and his will aligned with Yours.
We also lift up the relationship between you and your landlord, asking that it would be one marked by integrity, respect, and even opportunities to share the love of Christ. If there have been tensions or misunderstandings, we ask for reconciliation and peace. "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." (Romans 12:18 WEB) May your conduct as a tenant reflect the light of Christ, so that he may see your good works and glorify Your Father in heaven.
Father, we know that true surrender is not just a one-time decision but a daily laying down of one’s will. We pray that this man would not only make a profession of faith but would walk in ongoing repentance and obedience. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB) We ask that You would surround him with godly influences, believers who can disciple him, encourage him, and help him grow in his faith.
We also recognize that financial concerns and property ownership can be areas where worldly priorities take root. Lord, we pray that if this man is a believer, he would steward his resources in a way that honors You, showing generosity, fairness, and compassion. If he is not yet saved, we ask that You would use even his material possessions to draw him to Yourself, showing him that true security is found in Christ alone.
Above all, we pray that he would come to know Jesus not just as a distant concept but as a living Savior who died for his sins and rose again. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life." (John 3:16 WEB) We declare that salvation is not earned by works but received by faith, and we ask that he would place his trust in Christ alone for forgiveness and new life.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust that You are already at work in this man’s life, pursuing him with an everlasting love. We ask that You would complete the good work You have begun, drawing him to repentance and faith. May he experience the joy of surrendering his will to Yours, and may his life bring glory to Your name. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB)
We commit this prayer to You, trusting that Your will be done. Amen.
