We lift up this landlord before the throne of grace, asking the Holy Spirit to convict and draw him into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. Father, Your Word declares, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him" (John 6:44 WEB). We pray this landlord would hear Your voice and respond in repentance and faith, surrendering every area of his life, including his property, finances, and relationships, to Your lordship.

Lord, we ask that You soften his heart to the Gospel and remove any spiritual blindness or hardness that may be preventing him from recognizing his need for a Savior. May he experience Your love in a tangible way and be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2 WEB). We rebuke any pride, greed, or worldly attachments that may be hindering his walk with You, and we pray he would seek first Your kingdom and righteousness (Matthew 6:33 WEB).

We also pray for wisdom and godly stewardship over his property and dealings with tenants. May he reflect Christ’s character in all his actions, treating others with fairness, kindness, and integrity. If there are any ungodly practices in his business or personal life, we ask that You expose them and lead him to repentance.

Father, we declare that this landlord is not beyond Your reach. You desire that none should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9 WEB). We stand in the gap for him, believing that Your grace is sufficient to break every chain and draw him into Your family. May he become a vessel for Your glory, using his resources and influence to advance Your kingdom.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, trusting that Your will be done in this situation. Amen.

We often wish we could press a fast-forward button on someone else’s surrender to God, don’t we? That longing you feel, for the owner’s heart to soften and his will to bend, is a real weight to carry. It’s genuine love to want someone to know the freedom that comes from yielding everything to the Father. And for now, while that outcome isn’t yours to control, the prayer you are already praying matters more than you may realize.

What you are doing is spiritual work that unfolds over time, less like flipping a light switch and more like tilling hard soil. Keep showing up in prayer, even briefly, even when it feels repetitive. Don’t underestimate how God uses your steady, quiet faithfulness in the hidden place. At the same time, if you have opportunity for real, everyday kindness toward this person, a patient word, a fair interaction, simple goodwill, that can water the ground before you ever speak another word about faith. People surrender to a God they see in others far more often than they surrender to an argument.

Let’s pray together right now.

Lord Jesus, we lift this landlord into Your hands. You see his heart exactly as it is, its walls, its fears, its hidden hopes. We ask You to clear away whatever clouds his hearing so that Your voice reaches him with unmistakable clarity. Give him a deep, restless hunger until he finds rest in You. Protect him in the meantime, and guide the one who prays for him with wisdom and steady hope. We place this entire situation under Your authority, trusting Your timing and Your tender power. Amen.

How often the cry goes up from burdened hearts for those who hold power over them, that they might bow the knee to King Jesus! It is well that you have brought this landlord before the mercy seat, for the Lord alone can turn the heart of man. Truly, the great need of every soul is to surrender wholly to the Father’s will, and we join our prayers with yours, asking that this very hour the voice of God may break through every barrier and bring this man to the ground in humble submission.

Consider that precious promise: “Call, and I will answer.” Even now we call upon the Lord for this landlord, that the Holy Spirit would strive with him until he yields. Let us not grow weary, for our God is a God ready to pardon, full of longsuffering and tender mercy. The blood of Christ has made a way near, so near that the vilest sinner may draw close and find peace. Oh, that this man might cease his delaying and, like Abraham of old, obey at the first summons, counting the riches of this world as loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ!

What joy it would be to see him prepared to meet his God, not in terror, but in holy reconciliation! There is no other way unto the Father but by Jesus Christ, no other ladder betwixt earth and heaven. We beseech the Lord that faith may be born in his heart, that living faith which alone can please God and crown his existence with true goodness. May he find that place of nearness where, in union with the Savior, he can speak with God as a man speaks with his friend, and hear God answer him in sovereign grace.

Our prayer ascends without ceasing: let thy will, O God, be done in this landlord’s heart as it is in heaven. Break down every false refuge, and let him fall into the arms of Jesus, whose blood makes the foulest clean. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. You ask prayer for this landlord, that he would submit to God’s voice and surrender his life and will to the Father. Let us indeed pray, and yet let us not suppose that prayer alone suffices, for the Scripture teaches that we need both our own part and God’s part if we are to be duly saved. The grace that frees a man from his thraldom is great, but there must also be the obedience of the heart, a mind truly wakened and submissive, like Joseph who arose and did as the angel commanded without delay. So pray, and do not doubt: He who said “I will never leave thee nor forsake thee” speaks of all things, not of money only, and His promise is sure.

But remember also that reformation is sometimes uncertain. Perhaps this owner will turn; perhaps not. We ought not withdraw from him as one hopeless, but in meekness address ourselves to those who may yet learn, and never cease from converse with him until there be a plain demonstration. Carry God always in your thoughts, for when we forget Him, He may justly say “Thou hast forgotten Me, I also will forget thee.” But remembering Him aids us in both choosing and accomplishing good. So let your prayer be joined with a conversation without covetousness, showing forth a mind content with necessities, and trusting that the Lord is your Helper. For if He freed you from far greater evils by grace alone, now that you are become His friend and contribute your own share, He will much more attend to this lesser need. Pray therefore, and also speak and live before this man in such a way that the form of sound doctrine may be delivered unto him, and that he might come of a willing mind, not by compulsion, but by the beauty of a life lived in obedience. Let us ask the Lord together that this soul be brought to bow the knee not from mere necessity in the end, but from a rightly disposed choice, while it is yet the accepted time.
