🤺📖🔦Lamp unto Our Feet, Ps 119:105, "Thy Word is a Lamp unto our Feet, and a Light unto our Path," Ps 119:105. Sweeter to the Taste, Job 23:12, than the Honey and Honeycomb, Ps 19:10-11, Open Our Minds to "Understand the Scriptures," Luke 24:25 -- Give Wisdom & Revelation of God Eph 1:17, Instruction 2 Tim 3:16, Create Faith Rom 10:17, Lead to Eternal Life through Faith in Jesus Christ, 2 Tim 3:15...

🙇🏻 Father, thank You for understanding and spiritual hunger for the Word, "Jesus said to them, 'These are the words I spoke to you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms. Then HE opened their MINDS to UNDERSTAND the Scriptures,” Luke 24:44-45 (Understand: συνιέναι [synienai]; From sun and hiemi; to put together -- Literally to assemble the individual pieces of a puzzle so as to see the entire picture, not just random pieces -- Jesus, do this for us when we ask YOU "open our minds that we might 'understand' The Scriptures."

"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away," Matt 24:35, Luke 21:33, and Psalm 12:6, "The words of the LORD are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace, like gold purified sevenfold," and Isaiah 40:8, "The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.""For 'The word of the Lord stands forever.' And this is the word that was proclaimed to you," 1 Peter 1:25. Peter continues to testify in his 2nd Epistle, "We also have the Word of the prophets as confirmed beyond doubt. And you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture comes from one’s own interpretation. 21 For no such prophecy was ever brought forth by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit," 2 Peter 1:19-21. "Consider also that our Lord's patience brings salvation, AS OUR BELOVED BROTHER PAUL HAS WRITTEN, ACCORDING TO THE WISDOM GIVEN HIM FROM GOD. He writes the same way in ALL HIS LETTERS, speaking in them about such matters. Some parts of his letters are hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people distort, AS THEY DO THE REST OF THE SCRIPTURES, to their own destruction," 2 Peter 3:15-16.

📖"For EVERYTHING WRITTEN in earlier times WAS WRITTEN FOR OUR INSTRUCTION, so that through PERSEVERANCE and the ENCOURAGEMENT of THE SCRIPTURES, we might have hope. Now may the God who gives perseverance and encouragement grant us to be of the same mind with one another according to Christ Jesus, so that with one accord we may with one voice glorify Him as God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ," Rom 15:4-6. "And may the God of hope fill us with all joy and peace in BELIEVING, so that we all will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit," Rom 15:13, Thank You for THE SCRIPTURES, inspired by The Holy Spirit, 2 Peter 1:19-21, help us "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the Word of Truth, 2 Tim 2:15, help us understand, Luke 24:45, believe, John 5:47, Luke 16:29-31, Heb 3:12 and be doers of the Word not merely hearers, James 1:22-23. LET FAITH COME FROM HEARING THE WORD, Rom 10:17. Thank You for understanding, faith, trust, unity, obedience and peace that passes all comprehension, Phil 4:6-7, in Jesus' Name🤺

We join you in this beautiful and hungry prayer for the Word of God and we say amen to your desire that He would open our minds to understand the Scriptures.

We love how you have set your heart on the truth that Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path Psalm 119:105. We agree that we need that lamp shining in a dark place until the day dawns and the morning star rises in our hearts 2 Peter 1:19, and we thank God that He has not left us to stumble in darkness but has given us His flawless Word, like silver refined in a furnace, like gold purified sevenfold Psalm 12:6, a Word that stands forever though heaven and earth will pass away Matt 24:35 and though the grass withers and the flowers fall Isaiah 40:8.

We pray together now for what you have asked, that the Lord Jesus Himself would do for us what He did for His disciples, Then he opened their minds, that they might understand the Scriptures Luke 24:45. We ask the Father to put together the pieces for us, to give us that true understanding which assembles the whole picture of Christ fulfilled in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms Luke 24:44, so we do not see only random fragments but see Jesus Himself on every page.

Father, we thank You for the hunger You have placed in us for Your Word, more to be desired than gold, sweeter also than honey and the extract of the honeycomb Psalm 19:10, and we have treasured Your word in our hearts. We pray You would give to us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You Eph 1:17. Cause faith to come to us by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ Rom 10:17. We thank You that every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness 2 Tim 3:16, and that the sacred writings are able to make us wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus 2 Tim 3:15.

We ask that You would help us to be diligent to present ourselves approved by God, a workman who doesn’t need to be ashamed, properly handling the Word of Truth 2 Tim 2:15. Keep us from being merely hearers of the word who deceive ourselves, but make us doers of the word James 1:22. We remember that no prophecy of Scripture is of private interpretation, for no prophecy ever came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke, being moved by the Holy Spirit 2 Peter 1:20-21, and we rest in the confidence that everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope Rom 15:4. We ask that the God of hope would fill us with all joy and peace in believing, that we may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit Rom 15:13.

We thank You that Your word is the confirmed prophetic word we do well to pay attention to, and that even when some things are hard to understand, You are faithful to lead those who seek You with a humble and obedient heart into all truth. Give us perseverance to remain in the Word daily, give us unity with one another according to Christ Jesus that with one accord we may with one voice glorify You Rom 15:5-6, and give us that peace that surpasses all understanding as we trust and obey.

We pray all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ our Lord, by whom alone we have access to the Father and by whom alone we are saved, believing that His words will never pass away. Amen.

We love the hunger in your prayer. You are not just wanting information, you want to know God Himself through His Word and to see how it all points to Jesus. That desire itself is a gift, and we thank God with you for it.

We know it can feel like pieces of a puzzle that do not yet fit together. Understanding often comes gradually as we keep coming back, listening, and letting the Holy Spirit teach us over time, often with the help of other believers who can walk alongside us.

A practice many find steadying is to keep it simple and consistent. Before you read, take a moment to ask the Lord to open your mind to what He wants you to see that day. Then linger in a shorter passage rather than rushing, noticing what it shows you about Christ and how He invites you to respond. If something is hard to grasp, mark it and bring it to a pastor or trusted mature believer to talk through together.

We are praying for you as you continue.

Father, thank You for Your Word that endures and gives light. We ask You to open our friend's mind to understand what You have spoken, to deepen faith in Jesus, and to give wisdom and joy in following You day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for light from the Word is itself a work of grace, and I join my heart with yours in it. That you should hunger for the Scriptures, that you should desire them to be sweeter than honey and to be a lamp unto your feet, is a sign that the Spirit of God is already at work within you.

We will entreat the Lord together that He who opened the minds of His disciples that they might understand the Scriptures, Luke 24:45, will do the same for you. For the Word of the Lord stands forever, flawless as silver refined in a furnace, and it is by searching the Scriptures that we find they testify of Christ. In them ye think ye have eternal life, and these are they which testify of Him. Pray then that the Holy Spirit, by whom holy men of old were carried along, 2 Peter 1:21, will give you wisdom and revelation, Ephesians 1:17, and will make the Word to dwell in you richly.

Remember that faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God, Romans 10:17. Little faith is still true faith when it begins and ends with Jesus, and it is the gift of God, precious though it be but as a grain of mustard seed. Yet we are to grow therein. He who gave you faith at the first must give you more faith, and we are to be diligent to present ourselves approved, accurately handling the Word of Truth, 2 Timothy 2:15, not as those untaught and unstable who wrest the Scriptures, but as those noble Bereans who searched daily whether those things were so.

May the Lord make you not a hearer only but a doer of the Word, James 1:22, instructed and thoroughly furnished by all Scripture which is given by inspiration of God, 2 Timothy 3:16, and kept in perseverance and encouragement and hope through it, Romans 15:4. May He fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit, Romans 15:13, and that your life and walk of faith may be sustained by Christ Himself, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

Father, we thank Thee for Thy Word which is a light shining in a dark place. Open our minds that we may understand the Scriptures, give us to receive Christ Jesus the Lord and so to walk in Him, and let faith come and be strengthened as we hear Thy voice therein. Grant this for Jesus Christ's sake, Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your request reflects a hunger for the Word of God which itself is a work of His grace, and we join you in giving thanks for it and in asking Him to deepen it.

For this cause, since we have heard of this desire, we do not cease to pray for you that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. As you have prayed, we ask that He would open your mind to understand the Scriptures, as He opened the minds of His disciples, so that you see not scattered pieces but the whole picture together, Christ fulfilled in the Law and the Prophets and the Psalms.

We thank God that His Word is indeed a lamp to our feet and a light to our path, and that it stands forever while heaven and earth will pass away. His words are flawless like silver refined in a furnace, living and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, discerning the thoughts and intents of the heart. We pray that you will continue to pay attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dark place until the day dawns.

We ask the Father to give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, that the Scriptures which are inspired by God and profitable for instruction would create and strengthen faith in you, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ. May that faith be generous and vigorous, rising above what is seen and resting on what God has spoken, holding fast the confession that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For salvation is in Christ alone, and the Scriptures lead to eternal life through faith in Him.

We pray also that you may be diligent to present yourself approved to God, accurately handling the Word of truth, not merely hearing it but doing it, and that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures you may have hope and be filled with all joy and peace in believing, abounding in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. May God grant you to be of one mind according to Christ Jesus, lowly in heart and at peace with all, so that with one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever. Amen.
