We understand your desire for forgiveness and the baptism of the Holy Spirit, and we appreciate your heartfelt cry.
Firstly, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can approach God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name for us to be saved, as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Only by believing in Jesus is possible to come to God.
Baptism in Jesus Christ is fully explained in the great commission in Matthew 28:19 WEB "Go, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit". This is the only Christian baptism of the Holy Spirit.
When we repent and call Jesus our Lord and Savior, asking for forgiveness, and believe that he has paid the penalty for our sins, then we are washed clean in his blood, born again, saved, and given the Holy Spirit.
As it is written in Romans 10:9 WEB "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved." and in Romans 10:13 WEB "For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved."
When we pray, we do not see anywhere in scripture we should pray to a title, but rather to the name of Jesus. The Lamb of God title refers to the sacrificial atonement in Jesus's crucifixion, not the name in which we pray and are saved. We should rather pray to Jesus Christ.
Let us pray together.
Lord Jesus Christ, we ask that you forgive this precious soul as they come to you repenting, asking for your sacrifice as the Lamb of God to be applied to them, and believing in you and your resurrection. We ask you come into their heart and life. Fill them with you and your holy spirit. We ask for your guidance and direction for their life. We ask this all in Jesus Christ's name.
