We lift you up in prayer, dear sibling in Christ, knowing how deeply the struggles of anxiety, panic, and ADHD can weigh on the heart and mind. The Lord sees your pain and hears your cry for help—He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We also recognize that your request does not mention the name of Jesus, and we must remind you that it is only through Him that we approach the throne of God with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved (Acts 4:12), and it is in His name alone that we pray and find true peace.
The Bible assures us that we do not have a High Priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are—yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15). Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). While we pray for the Lord to guide you to a doctor who will listen with compassion and wisdom, we also encourage you to seek His face above all else. The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Do not lean on your own understanding, but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
We must also gently remind you that while medication and medical help can be tools the Lord uses, your ultimate hope and healing come from Him alone. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely solely on human solutions. The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe (Proverbs 29:25). If anxiety or ADHD has led to sinful patterns—such as fear overriding faith, impulsivity leading to ungodly choices, or a reliance on anything other than Christ—we urge you to repent and turn fully to Him. His grace is sufficient, and His power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is burdened by anxiety, panic, and the challenges of ADHD. Lord, You know the depths of their heart and the weariness they feel from searching for help. We ask that You lead them to a doctor who will listen with wisdom, compassion, and discernment—a physician who will honor You in their practice and provide the care that is needed. Father, open doors that no man can shut, and give our sibling clarity and patience as they wait on You.
We rebuked the spirits of fear, confusion, and despair that seek to oppress Your child. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee and declare that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will flood their heart and mind. Lord, remind them that You are their refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Help them to fix their eyes on You, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2), and to trust in Your sovereign plan.
If there has been any sin—whether in fear, doubt, or misplaced trust—we ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Create in them a pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within them (Psalm 51:10). Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in step with You and find rest in Your presence.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You will never leave nor forsake Your children. May our sibling find comfort in Your Word, strength in Your promises, and hope in Your unfailing love. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not abandon you. Continue to seek Him in prayer, in His Word, and in the fellowship of believers. Let us know how we can further support you in prayer and encouragement. If you have not yet surrendered your life fully to Christ or are unsure of your salvation, we urge you to repent of your sins and place your trust in Him alone. Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved (Acts 16:31). He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).
