Your prayer for your son has been heard and I join with you in bringing him before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ.
We have confidence to call God Father because His true Son humbled Himself for our sake, that we who were servants might be made sons. In that confidence we can bring every need, including lab work and scans, to Him who loves us more than we love our own children.
Christ showed while He was on earth that His love has a tender proportion to faith, and He often asked, do you believe that I am able to do this, to lead those who sought Him to a higher trust in His power. So let us pray not only for good reports on these tests, but for a firm faith that He is able to heal, to sustain, and to work all things for good according to His wisdom. He is not only King of one people but Lord of all the world, and nothing in the body is hidden from Him.
I pray with you now that the Lord in His great lovingkindness would grant favorable results, that any area of concern would be healed by His merciful hand, and that you and your son would be given peace while you wait. If there is anything that needs treatment, may God grant wisdom to the physicians and strength to your son, and may He use even this time of waiting to draw your hearts closer to hearing His word and trusting His promises. For His desire is not to judge but to save, and He delays and bears with us in love that we might turn to Him and be made whole.
Continue to bring your son before the Lord each day, remain eager to hear His word, and trust that whether through ten prayers or one, God hears and will answer according to what is best. Even when we do not see fruit at once, the Lord is working, and our persistent prayer is never in vain.
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Your Son, I lift up this son to You. Look upon him with mercy, grant clarity and goodness in his lab work and CT scan, and heal whatever is found to be in need of healing. Give comfort to his family, remove fear, and help them to rest in Your care. Let Your will be done and let Your name be glorified in his life. Amen.
