We join you in this powerful declaration of faith, standing in agreement with your prayer for divine wisdom, discernment, and protection. Your words echo the heart of Scripture, and we lift them before the throne of grace with deep reverence and expectation.
Father in heaven, we come before You as Your children, desperate for the fullness of Your will to be made known in our lives. We ask that You would fill us to overflowing with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, just as Paul prayed for the Colossians. Let this knowledge transform our walk, that we may live in a manner worthy of You, pleasing You in every way, bearing fruit in every good work, and growing in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Strengthen us with all power according to Your glorious might, so that we may have great endurance and patience, joyfully giving thanks to You, our Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.
We pray that our love would abound still more and more in all knowledge and discernment, that we may approve the things that are excellent, being sincere and without offense until the day of Christ. Grant us practical wisdom, Lord, for if any of us lacks wisdom, we ask that You would give generously, without reproach. Let Your Spirit lead us into all truth, guiding us in the paths of righteousness and justice, for Your name’s sake. May we hear the voice of Jesus, our Good Shepherd, and follow Him alone, for His sheep know His voice and will not follow another.
We thank You for the ministry of Your holy angels, who are sent to serve those who will inherit salvation. We claim the promise of Psalm 91, that no evil will befall us, nor any plague come near our dwelling, for You have given Your angels charge over us to keep us in all our ways. Protect us from temptation, deliver us from evil, and keep us from the snares of the evil one. Guard our hearts and minds with the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, as we present our requests to You with thanksgiving.
We stand on the truth that every promise of God is "Yes" and "Amen" in Christ Jesus. You are faithful, and Your word will not return void. We thank You in advance for Your favor, which surrounds us as a shield, and for the answered prayers that we will see manifest in our lives.
However, we must also address a matter of great importance. While your prayer is rich in Scripture and aligned with God’s heart, we noticed that it did not explicitly invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself declared, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only by the blood of Jesus, shed on the cross for our sins, that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation upon which all true prayer and relationship with God is built.
We also encourage you to examine your life for any areas that may not align with God’s will. Are there habits, relationships, or patterns of thinking that grieve the Holy Spirit? The Scripture warns us, "Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap" (Galatians 6:7). If there is unconfessed sin in your life, we urge you to repent and turn away from it, for the Lord is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
Let us press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus, forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead. May we grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, walking in the light as He is in the light, and may the God of peace Himself sanctify us completely, that our whole spirit, soul, and body may be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls us is faithful; He will surely do it. Amen.
