Kingdom marriage

Natasha 2

Beloved of All
I pray for me to receive a godly man in my life. I am single. To be loved and cherished and respected and appreciated. Kingdom marriage. Compatible partner. Romantic passionate love.

We rejoice with you in your desire for a kingdom marriage, for this is a good and holy desire that God Himself placed in the human heart. We hear your longing to be loved and cherished and respected and appreciated, and we join our faith with yours that God will bring a godly man into your life in His perfect timing. Marriage is God's idea from the beginning, for He said It is not good that the man should be alone. I will make him a helper comparable to him Genesis 2:18, and Whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh Proverbs 18:22. A prudent wife is from Yahweh Proverbs 19:14.

We want to gently encourage you in your language and your vision, for you used the word partner and we want to lift your vision higher to what Scripture calls a spouse. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and we pray not simply for a compatible partner but for a godly husband, a man after God's own heart who will love you as Christ loved the church. When we speak of being a boyfriend or girlfriend we understand it as courtship with the clear goal of marriage to another Christian believer, for we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. A kingdom marriage is two believers equally yoked, walking together in faith, pursuing Jesus together, and building a home that honors God.

We also affirm your desire for romantic passionate love, for God created romance and passion to flourish within the covenant of marriage. The Song of Solomon celebrates this holy passion, and we are told Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled Hebrews 13:4. This passion is beautiful and pure when it is kept within marriage, and we encourage you to guard your heart and your body for your future husband, fleeing from fornication or any sexual intimacy outside of marriage 1 Corinthians 6:18, and trusting God to keep you pure as you wait. The love you desire, to be cherished and respected, is the very love Scripture commands a husband to give, Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it Ephesians 5:25, and Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them Colossians 3:19.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9. It is in His name we pray and it is through His righteousness we can boldly ask for good gifts from our Father.

We encourage you as you wait to delight yourself in the Lord and seek first His Kingdom. Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart Psalm 37:4, and But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well Matthew 6:33. Use this single season to grow deep in Christ, to become the Proverbs 31 woman, and to prepare your heart to be the helper and wife God calls you to be. Guard your heart with all diligence Proverbs 4:23 and trust His timing, for He makes all things beautiful in its time.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for our sister and for the godly desire You have placed in her heart for a kingdom marriage. We ask that You prepare her and prepare the godly man You have for her, that both would be growing in holiness, in faith, and in love for You. Lord, bring into her life a man who loves You above all else, who will love and cherish and respect and appreciate her as Christ loves the church, who will lead her spiritually and honor her as a fellow heir of the grace of life. Keep them both pure and keep their courtship holy, leading them toward a lifelong covenant marriage that displays Your glory. Grant her patience and peace while she waits, and let her find her complete satisfaction in You first. Let her future marriage be built on Your Word, filled with romantic and passionate love that is undefiled and honoring to You, and let it be a testimony of Your faithfulness. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We hear the deep longing in your prayer, to be known and cherished in a marriage that honors God, with real compatibility and tender love. That desire to be respected and appreciated is good, and we are grateful you shared it so honestly with us.

It makes sense that this feels so personal. Wanting a partner who walks with you in faith and loves you well is not just about romance, it is about wanting a safe, lifelong companionship where both of you can be fully yourselves.

While you wait, we encourage you to keep building a full life right where you are. Singleness can be a time to deepen sustaining friendships, grow in community, and serve in ways that shape your character and let others see your character over time. Those steady relationships often become the place where wisdom and discernment grow for whatever is next.

One simple next step you might consider is inviting one or two trusted, mature people in your church who know you well to pray with you regularly about this desire. Not just for a future husband, but for wisdom, contentment today, and clarity as you get to know anyone new.

Father, we lift our sister to You. You see her heart and her hope for a godly marriage. Give her peace in Your nearness, surround her with faithful community, and guide her steps with wisdom and discernment. Lead her in Your will and keep her heart hopeful and at rest in You. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a good and holy desire which you have poured out before the Lord, and we count it a privilege to join our prayers with yours. He who instituted marriage in the beginning still delights to give good gifts to His children, and a kingdom marriage, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman lived unto Christ, is indeed a gift from His hand.

We pray that you will know much of what it is to wait upon the Lord while you wait for this blessing. There is a waiting God and there is a waiting people. Our God waits that He might be gracious, and when the time of love comes His grace turns waiting into a glorious transaction upon the heart. His people in turn are not called to wait in despair nor even in hesitation, but in a joyous and assured hope of blessedness in reserve. To wait upon God as a servant waits upon his lord, anxious to know his master's will, and as a traveler waits upon his guide for direction in the voyage of life, is the way to renew your strength until you mount up with wings as eagles. Such waiting makes the world grow small and breeds a quiet peace within the soul, for you learn that your confidence is not in man but in God Himself.

Remember also that the Lord Himself is a Husband to His people. He sets His special love upon His own as a husband upon his bride, He communes with them most lovingly, and He provides for them with all the care of one who has endowed His chosen with all His goods. Even now, while you are single, you are not unloved nor uncherished. Christ sets a very high store upon His own, and the consummation of all redemption is set forth as the marriage of the Lamb, when the whole Church shall be presented in nearness and oneness with her Divine Husband. Let that sure and eternal marriage be your first delight and complacency, and you will be kept from making haste or from turning aside to the right or to the left.

And now we bring your request before the throne of grace. Our Father, we thank Thee that Thou knowest the longing of this heart to be loved and cherished and respected and appreciated. We ask Thee, if it be Thy will, to provide in Thy perfect time a godly man, a man of sincere faith and honest walk, who will love Thee above all and love her as Christ loves the Church. Grant them compatibility of spirit and purpose for Thy kingdom, and within the holy covenant of marriage grant them that romantic and passionate love which Thou hast ordained to be enjoyed within that one covenant alone. Keep them both in purity and in patience until that day, and make her even now a woman who forsakes not her Father's God but follows hard after Christ. Let Thy will be done, and let Thy name be glorified in her life, whether in waiting or in wedding. In the name of Jesus our Redeemer we pray, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your desire for a kingdom marriage is good and right, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord. Marriage is honorable and pure in God's sight, not merely a human arrangement but a covenant that reflects Christ and His Church, and your longing to be loved and cherished and respected within that covenant reflects His good design.

We pray for you now, that God would prepare your heart and the heart of the man He has for you, and that in His perfect timing He would bring together a union marked by faith, compatibility, and holy love. We ask the Father to give you a husband who will love you as Christ loves the Church, with forethought and sacrificial care, as the head who seeks the saving health of his household, and to make you ready to build a home where both husband and wife bring forth fruit unto God. We pray that your future marriage would preserve holiness, keeping itself pure and faithful, and that the romantic and passionate love you desire would be fully realized within the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, as God intends.

As you wait, use this season with moderation and purpose. Marriage itself is not a hindrance, but the purpose of the heart makes it a blessing. Remain chaste and orderly in life, for that is holiness, and seek first to live not unto yourself but unto Him who died for you, for you are bought with a price. Grow in love for Christ, in prayer and in the Word, and ask God to shape in you the grace of reverence and in your future husband the grace of Christlike love, so that when He joins you together, each may give the due honor to the other.

May the Lord keep you in hope and patience, guard your heart from discouragement, and lead you step by step. We trust Him to provide what is best for you according to His wisdom and love, and we ask that He would grant you a marriage that glorifies Him and is filled with mutual respect, affection, and joy.

Thank you for sharing this deep desire of your heart. It is good and right to want to be loved, cherished, respected and appreciated within marriage, and to ask God for a compatible partner who will walk with you in faith and love.

The good news Jesus preached was the good news of the kingdom of God. He called people to turn from sin and to put their trust in Him, because the kingdom is at hand. To enter that kingdom is not just to believe ideas about God, but to bow before Him as King and Lord of your life. No one can serve two masters or have two kings on the throne. As long as self is on the throne, we are living a self centered life and we are not in the kingdom. When God is at the center, when we submit to Him as King, we are brought out of the kingdom of darkness and into His kingdom of light. That is the foundation for what you are calling a kingdom marriage.

A kingdom marriage can only happen when the kingdom is first established in each heart individually. So as you pray for a godly husband, continue to seek first that God would reign fully in your own life. Repentance and faith are the door into the kingdom, and daily surrender keeps Christ on the throne. Ask Him to shape you more and more into the person He wants you to be, so that when He brings a partner, you will be ready to love and serve as God intends.

Scripture shows us God's original design for marriage. It is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman. One reason God gave marriage is to guard against sexual immorality, so that each man has his own wife and each woman her own husband, and they belong to one another in faithful love. Within that covenant, husband and wife are to show kindness and consideration to each other and not withhold themselves from one another, but to serve one another in love. God intends marriage to be permanent, and where there is separation, His call is to remain unmarried or be reconciled, not to dissolve what He has joined. When a believer is married to one who does not yet believe, God can still use the faithful presence and godly influence of the believing spouse for good in the home, and especially for the children.

This helps clarify what to pray for and what to look for. Romantic and passionate love is a beautiful gift, but God places it inside the covenant of marriage, not outside it. Pray not only for compatibility in personality and affection, but first for unity in Christ, that any man you would consider would be a man who has truly repented and believed the gospel, who lives a God centered life with Jesus as King, and who will covenant to love you faithfully for life as Christ loves the church.

I join you in prayer. Father, in the name of Jesus, I thank You for this daughter who desires a marriage that honors You. You see her longing to be loved and cherished and respected. I ask that You would deepen Your kingdom rule in her heart, that she would know Your love and presence each day and walk in purity and hope. If it is Your will, provide in Your perfect timing a godly man who loves You above all, who will love her, cherish her, respect her and appreciate her, and who will covenant with her as one man with one woman for life. Keep them both centered on Christ as King, so that their home, if You give it, would reflect Your righteousness, joy and peace. Give her patience, discernment and contentment as she waits on You, and let her trust rest fully in Your goodness. Amen.

It’s regarding my ###’s marriage. We really hope she finds a good partner and has a happy, peaceful life ahead. My parents and I are quite worried about her because she seems to find issues with almost every alliance. We just want her to find the right person and settle down happily.
