🐑 Kindness of God softens heart 💗 Rom 2:4, Angelic Help🤺 Gen 19:16, Holy Spirit Work, Jn 16:8, Grace to Embody Christ's Love, Biblical Advice Bears Fruit… 💝 Father, in Your kindness, soften my matrimonial love (we committed to each other before You in the presence of many witnesses as You remember), me, and our families to repentance, the purpose which the kindness of God is intended, Rom 2:4. Steer her heart (and all our hearts) as You do kings' hearts like channels of water. Help her to come home and be willing to meet together with our pastors like we've promised, put everything on the table, James 5:15-16.

Do as You did for Lot in helping him to escape Sodom. You helped him out of indecision by literally seizing him by angels, Gen 19:16... Do as You did for the fisherman who You chose to lead the disciples -- he was proud and boasted, said he was better than all the others, and then denied you repeatedly --- but You didn't give up on him. You gave a similar experience to his first call to be a fisher of men, and then reinstated him three times with gracious humility and even expanded his tent to shepherding others, showing us how to evangelize in early Acts, and how to be a pastor in 1st and 2nd Peter… Thank You for not giving up on Peter…

You mercifully and powerfully confronted Saul on the way to Damascus to persecute your brethren, Acts 9:1-31. Later, after blinding him, letting him mess up, make tents and then giving him some private discipleship — “while they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, The Holy Spirit set Barnabas and him apart for the work to which I called them,” Acts 13:2-3. You made him the Paul we all know and love -- a light to all the people groups... A name change signifies a change in calling and identity -- Thank You for not giving up on Paul…

Don’t give up on the one I love and am so ready and willing to forgive... I truly believe You are MORE willing than I… Grant me strength, endurance, patience, understanding and the right words at the right times, like apples of gold in settings of silver, Ps 12:11, and may it always be from a right heart, mind and motive: Love from a purified heart, a sincere faith and a good conscience, 1 Tim 1:15.

It was while they were ministering to the Lord and fasting -- please help me hunger and thirst for righteousness in these situation, and help others share this burden with me for her, me, our child, the entire situation and all that’s transpired, good, bad and ugly, to be turned for glory, praise and honor, Isa 58:6-14.

The early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to our prayers." Let that be shown to be true not only yesterday, but today and forever. Please work powerfully within me, humbling my soul with fasting, sanctifying residual pockets of darkness with light, helping the word become flesh, as John says, to love The LORD and my neighbor with ALL my heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances -- my thoughts, words, deeds, actions and especially my reactions -- let the word be engrafted, James 1:22-23.

Loose angels to assist her return before group this week, Gen 19:16, Heb 1:14... Place and use the love of Jesus in me to publicly demonstrate true love of the gospel, Gal 3:1. Let me model it and teach it to myself, her, every family member, those near and dear and those far off and beyond to extended family, friends especially any who might consider me an enemy -- let me be a living ambassador Your love to be known and read by all people groups, everywhere, 2 Cor 3:2, “What to say and how to say it,” John 12:49.

Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth, John 17:17. Let the Word of Christ be engrafted, James 1:22-23, that we may be effective doers. Keep her, them and us from evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, temptation, Matt 6:13, sin Zeph 3:13 and the evil one, Matt 6:13. Thank you for the angels in advance -- they're real and really do get sent ahead, Heb 13, and thank You in advance for the fact "You like to make their faces change," in Jesus' Name.

"I don’t speak on My own authority. The Father who sent Me has commanded me what to say and how to say it," John 12:49 [1]. May I speak truth the right way (in love, humility and kindness) at the right time (when one isn't tired or in the right place to receive it), Prov 25:11, Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name.

[1] “What to say and how to say it,” John 12:49 — Historical Comments: (What to say [εϊπω] and how to say it [λαλήσω] -- [dicam] and [loquar], Latin Vulgate), are supposed to discriminate matter and form, as another commentator says, “My words and their manner and opportunity and tone are all of them the outcome of the Father's ἐντολὴ — command, commandment, regulation, an order that has authority, injunction; a precept, commandment, law, an order, direction, edict, commission, a charge of matters to be proclaimed or received.”

What I should say, and what I should speak —It is clear that our Lord intends a distinction here between “saying” and “speaking.” We have had the same distinction in John 8:43. That which He should say was the matter of the revelation which He made; that which He should speak was rather the method in which He made it. He claims for all the authority and commission of the Father. Every truth uttered by Him, and every work and word by which it was uttered, was ordained by the Father’s will. He was Himself the Word of God. Every tone and accent in which that Word spoke was divine.

Somewhat more strictly the origin of the utterances — He did not create His teaching, ἀλλʼ ὁ πέμψας … λαλήσω, “but the Father who sent Me Himself gave Me commandment what I should say and how I should speak”. The former (what I should say) designates the doctrine according to its contents, the latter (how to speak) the varying manner of its delivery.

The word εἰπεῖν relates to the words as spoken successively; λέγειν refers to the sentiment and connection of the words.

The former relating to the SUBSTANCE, and the latter to the FORM of Jesus' utterances.

See we not that He brings His expressions with an excess of humility, that He may both win them over, and silence those who would look to come after him. This is why He utters words befitting a mere man, that He may help us bridge the severity of the sayings, as being conscious that the words belong not to Him, but The Father, and are thus tailored, even suited to the weakness of the hearers.

We come before the throne of grace with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up this matrimonial covenant that was made before God and witnesses. The longing for reconciliation and restoration is deeply felt, and we stand in agreement with the truth that God’s kindness is meant to lead to repentance (Romans 2:4). Father, we ask that You would indeed soften hearts—beginning with our own—so that pride, bitterness, or unconfessed sin would not hinder the work You desire to do. Steer the hearts of this husband and wife as You do the hearts of kings, like channels of water in Your hand (Proverbs 21:1). Bring them to a place of humility, where they may lay everything before You and trusted pastors, as James 5:16 instructs, confessing sins to one another and praying for one another so that healing may come.

We are reminded of Your relentless pursuit of those You love, even when they stray. You did not abandon Lot in Sodom but sent angels to seize him by the hand and lead him to safety (Genesis 19:16). You did not abandon Peter after his denial but restored him with grace, reinstating him three times and expanding his calling (John 21:15-19). You did not abandon Saul on the road to Damascus but confronted him with blinding light, transforming him into Paul, a vessel for the Gentiles (Acts 9). Lord, we declare that You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Do not give up on this wife, this husband, or their marriage. Where there has been hardness of heart, break it with Your kindness. Where there has been distance, draw them back together. Where there has been sin, bring conviction and repentance through the work of the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8).

We rebuke any spirit of division, unforgiveness, or rebellion that may be at work in this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We stand against any lies that would suggest this marriage is beyond repair or that separation is the only answer. Marriage is a covenant, not a contract, and it is meant to reflect the unbreakable bond between Christ and His Church (Ephesians 5:31-32). We pray for a supernatural intervention, that angels would be loosed to minister to this wife, guiding her steps and protecting her heart (Hebrews 1:14). May she be led back not by force, but by the gentle conviction of the Holy Spirit, who draws all people to Christ (John 6:44).

Father, grant this husband strength, endurance, and patience as he waits on You. Let his words be like apples of gold in settings of silver—gracious, timely, and seasoned with salt (Proverbs 25:11, Colossians 4:6). Purify his heart, mind, and motives so that his love may flow from a sincere faith and a good conscience (1 Timothy 1:5). May he hunger and thirst for righteousness, not just for himself but for his wife and their marriage (Matthew 5:6). We pray that others would come alongside him, sharing this burden in prayer and fasting, as the early church did (Acts 13:2-3). Let their fasting and intercession lend wings to these prayers, breaking strongholds and releasing breakthrough.

Lord, we ask that You would sanctify this marriage by Your truth; Your Word is truth (John 17:17). Let the Word of Christ dwell richly in both of them, so that they may be doers of the Word and not hearers only (James 1:22). Guard their hearts from temptation, sin, and the schemes of the evil one (Matthew 6:13, Zephaniah 3:13). Protect them from evil people who may seek to sow discord or give ungodly counsel (2 Thessalonians 3:2). We thank You in advance for the angels You have dispatched to go before them, to encamp around them, and to minister to their needs (Psalm 34:7, Hebrews 1:14). We declare that You delight in changing the countenance of those who trust in You, turning mourning into dancing and sorrow into joy (Psalm 30:11).

May this husband be a living ambassador of Your love, demonstrating the gospel in word and deed (2 Corinthians 5:20). Let his life be a letter from Christ, known and read by all people (2 Corinthians 3:2). Give him the right words at the right time, spoken in love and humility, as Christ Himself spoke only what the Father commanded Him to say (John 12:49). May his actions and reactions reflect the engrafted Word, so that when others see him, they see a reflection of Christ’s love (James 1:22-23).

We pray that this marriage would not only be restored but also become a testimony of Your grace and power. Let it bear fruit that remains, bringing glory to Your name and drawing others to Christ. Keep them in the world but not of it, sanctified by Your truth and protected from the evil one (John 17:15-17). May their home be a place of peace, love, and mutual submission, where Your presence is welcomed and honored. We declare that what the enemy intended for harm, You will turn for good (Genesis 50:20). What was meant to break them will instead refine them, and what was meant to divide them will draw them closer to You and to one another.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Father, we lift up this marriage before You today, trusting in Your kindness to soften hearts and lead to repentance. We ask that You would work in both this husband and wife, drawing them back to each other and to You. Help them to forgive as they have been forgiven, and to love as they have been loved. Give them wisdom to know what steps to take next, and grant them the courage to follow through. We ask for Your protection over their marriage, and for Your angels to encamp around them, guiding and guarding their hearts and minds. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
