Beloved Servant
Kindness of God softens heart šŸ’— Rom 2:4, Angelic Help🤺 Gen 19:16, Holy Spirit Work, Jn 16:8, Grace to Embody Christ's Love, Biblical Advice Bears Fruit… šŸ’ Father, in Your kindness, soften my matrimonial love (we committed to each other before You in the presence of many witnesses as You remember), me, and our families to repentance, the purpose which the kindness of God is intended, Rom 2:4. Steer her heart (and all our hearts) as You do kings' hearts like channels of water. Help her to come home and be willing to meet together with our pastors like we've promised, put everything on the table, James 5:15-16.

Do as You did for Lot in helping him to escape Sodom. You helped him out of indecision by literally seizing him by angels, Gen 19:16... Do as You did for the fisherman who You chose to lead the disciples -- he was proud and boasted, said he was better than all the others, and then denied you repeatedly --- but You didn't give up on him. You gave a similar experience to his first call to be a fisher of men, and then reinstated him three times with gracious humility and even expanded his tent to shepherding others, showing us how to evangelize in early Acts, and how to be a pastor in 1st and 2nd Peter… Thank You for not giving up on Peter…

You mercifully and powerfully confronted Saul on the way to Damascus to persecute your brethren, Acts 9:1-31. Later, after blinding him, letting him mess up, make tents and then giving him some private discipleship — ā€œwhile they were worshipping the Lord and fasting, The Holy Spirit set Barnabas and him apart for the work to which I called them,ā€ Acts 13:2-3. You made him the Paul we all know and love -- a light to all the people groups... A name change signifies a change in calling and identity -- Thank You for not giving up on Paul…

Don’t give up on the one I love and am so ready and willing to forgive... I truly believe You are MORE willing than I… Grant me strength, endurance, patience, understanding and the right words at the right times, like apples of gold in settings of silver, Ps 12:11, and may it always be from a right heart, mind and motive: Love from a purified heart, a sincere faith and a good conscience, 1 Tim 1:15.

It was while they were ministering to the Lord and fasting -- please help me hunger and thirst for righteousness in these situation, and help others share this burden with me for her, me, our child, the entire situation and all that’s transpired, good, bad and ugly, to be turned for glory, praise and honor, Isa 58:6-14.

The early church said, "fasting and giving lends wings to our prayers." Let that be shown to be true not only yesterday, but today and forever. Please work powerfully within me, humbling my soul with fasting, sanctifying residual pockets of darkness with light, helping the word become flesh, as John says, to love The LORD and my neighbor with ALL my heart, soul, mind, will, emotions, physical strength and finances -- my thoughts, words, deeds, actions and especially my reactions -- let the word be engrafted, James 1:22-23.

Loose angels to assist her return before group this week, Gen 19:16, Heb 1:14... Place and use the love of Jesus in me to publicly demonstrate true love of the gospel, Gal 3:1. Let me model it and teach it to myself, her, every family member, those near and dear and those far off and beyond to extended family, friends especially any who might consider me an enemy -- let me be a living ambassador Your love to be known and read by all people groups, everywhere, 2 Cor 3:2, ā€œWhat to say and how to say it,ā€ John 12:49.

Do not take us out of the world, but keep us from the evil one, John 17:15. Sanctify us by the truth; Your word is truth, John 17:17. Let the Word of Christ be engrafted, James 1:22-23, that we may be effective doers. Keep her, them and us from evil people, 2 Thes 3:2, temptation, Matt 6:13, sin Zeph 3:13 and the evil one, Matt 6:13. Thank you for the angels in advance -- they're real and really do get sent ahead, Heb 13, and thank You in advance for the fact "You like to make their faces change," in Jesus' Name.

"I don’t speak on My own authority. The Father who sent Me has commanded me what to say and how to say it," John 12:49 [1]. May I speak truth the right way (in love, humility and kindness) at the right time (when one isn't tired or in the right place to receive it), Prov 25:11, Thank You and you all in Jesus' Name.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

We come before the Lord with a heavy yet hopeful heart, lifting up this sacred matrimony that was committed before Him in the presence of witnesses. Father, we thank You for the covenant of marriage, a reflection of Christ’s love for His church (Ephesians 5:25-33). We stand on the truth that Your kindness leads to repentance (Romans 2:4), and we plead for softened hearts—for this husband, his wife, and their families. Lord, steer their hearts like channels of water (Proverbs 21:1), that they may turn toward You and one another in humility and grace.

We rebuke any hardness of heart, any pride, or any unforgiveness that has taken root. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that this marriage is covered by the blood of Jesus. We pray for angelic assistance, as You sent to Lot in his hour of need (Genesis 19:16), to intervene in this situation. Let Your angels encamp around them (Psalm 34:7) and guide this wife home, that she may reunite with her husband and seek godly counsel together, as James 5:16 instructs.

Holy Spirit, we ask You to convict of sin, righteousness, and judgment (John 16:8). Expose any unconfessed sin—whether bitterness, lust, or idolatry—and bring repentance. We pray for this husband, that You would grant him the strength of Christ to forgive as he has been forgiven (Colossians 3:13). Let his words be like apples of gold in settings of silver (Proverbs 25:11), seasoned with grace and truth. Purify his heart, mind, and motives, that his love may flow from a sincere faith and a good conscience (1 Timothy 1:5).

Father, we thank You for not giving up on Peter, though he denied You, or Paul, though he persecuted Your church. You are the God who restores and redeems. We declare that You will not give up on this wife or this marriage. We pray for a hunger and thirst for righteousness (Matthew 5:6), that fasting and prayer would lend wings to these petitions (Isaiah 58:6-14). Sanctify them by Your truth; Your word is truth (John 17:17).

We rebuke any spiritual attack seeking to divide this family. Keep them from the evil one (John 17:15) and from those who would lead them astray (2 Thessalonians 3:2). Let the Word of Christ dwell richly in them (Colossians 3:16), that they may be doers of the word and not hearers only (James 1:22). We thank You in advance for the angels You dispatch (Hebrews 1:14) and for the transformation You will bring.

Lord, let this husband be an ambassador of Your love (2 Corinthians 5:20), demonstrating the gospel in word and deed. Give him the right words at the right time (John 12:49), that his speech may always be gracious, seasoned with salt (Colossians 4:6). May his life be a living epistle, known and read by all (2 Corinthians 3:2).

We declare that this marriage will not be taken out of the world but will be kept from the evil one. We pray for unity, restoration, and a testimony that brings glory to Your name. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

[1] ā€œWhat to say and how to say it,ā€ John 12:49 — Historical Comments: (What to say [ĪµĻŠĻ€Ļ‰] and how to say it [Ī»Ī±Ī»į½µĻƒĻ‰] -- [dicam] and [loquar], Latin Vulgate), are supposed to discriminate matter and form, as another commentator says, ā€œMy words and their manner and opportunity and tone are all of them the outcome of the Father's ἐντολὓ — command, commandment, regulation, an order that has authority, injunction; a precept, commandment, law, an order, direction, edict, commission, a charge of matters to be proclaimed or received.ā€

What I should say, and what I should speak —It is clear that our Lord intends a distinction here between ā€œsayingā€ and ā€œspeaking.ā€ We have had the same distinction in John 8:43. That which He should say was the matter of the revelation which He made; that which He should speak was rather the method in which He made it. He claims for all the authority and commission of the Father. Every truth uttered by Him, and every work and word by which it was uttered, was ordained by the Father’s will. He was Himself the Word of God. Every tone and accent in which that Word spoke was divine.

Somewhat more strictly the origin of the utterances — He did not create His teaching, ἀλλʼ ὁ Ļ€ĪĪ¼ĻˆĪ±Ļ‚ … Ī»Ī±Ī»Ī®ĻƒĻ‰, ā€œbut the Father who sent Me Himself gave Me commandment what I should say and how I should speakā€. The former (what I should say) designates the doctrine according to its contents, the latter (how to speak) the varying manner of its delivery.

The word εἰπεῖν relates to the words as spoken successively; λέγειν refers to the sentiment and connection of the words.

The former relating to the SUBSTANCE, and the latter to the FORM of Jesus' utterances.

See we not that He brings His expressions with an excess of humility, that He may both win them over, and silence those who would look to come after him. This is why He utters words befitting a mere man, that He may help us bridge the severity of the sayings, as being conscious that the words belong not to Him, but The Father, and are thus tailored, even suited to the weakness of the hearers.

We join you in lifting up this sacred union before the Lord, dear friend. We too believe in the power of kindness to soften hearts, as seen in Romans 2:4. Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You today, interceding for this marriage. We thank You for the covenant they made before You, reflecting Christ's love for His Church. We ask that Your kindness would lead them to repentance, turning their hearts towards You and each other.

Lord, soften their hearts like water in Your hands. Guide their steps back to unity, humility, and grace. Help them to turn away from pride, unforgiveness, and any root of bitterness. Protect them from the enemy's schemes to steal, kill, and destroy. Cover this marriage with the blood of Jesus.

Send Your angels to encamp around them, Holy Spirit. Convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment. Expose any unconfessed sin and bring repentance. Grant this husband the strength of Christ to forgive as he has been forgiven. Purify his heart, mind, and motives, that his love may flow from a sincere faith and a good conscience.

Father, we thank You for not giving up on Peter or Paul, and we declare that You will not give up on this wife or this marriage. Create in them a hunger and thirst for righteousness. Sanctify them by Your truth, for Your word is truth.

Rebuke any spiritual attack seeking to divide this family. Keep them from the evil one and from those who would lead them astray. Let the Word of Christ dwell richly in them, that they may be doers of the word and not hearers only.

Lord, let this husband be an ambassador of Your love, demonstrating the gospel in word and deed. Give him the right words at the right time, that his speech may always be gracious, seasoned with salt.

We declare that this marriage will not be taken out of the world but will be kept from the evil one. We pray for unity, restoration, and a testimony that brings glory to Your name. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply moved by your heartfelt prayer request and the earnestness with which you seek the Lord’s intervention in your marriage and family. It has been our privilege to stand in agreement with you, lifting up your burdens before our Heavenly Father, trusting in His kindness, mercy, and power to soften hearts and bring repentance as only He can.

We continue to pray that the Holy Spirit would move mightily in this situation, convicting, guiding, and drawing each heart closer to Christ. May the Lord, in His infinite grace, grant you the strength, patience, and wisdom to embody His love in every thought, word, and deed—especially in your reactions—so that His light may shine brightly through you. We ask that He would loose His angels to assist in bringing restoration and healing, just as He did for Lot, Peter, and Paul, who were all transformed by His relentless love and purpose.

If the Lord has already moved in answer to these prayers, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report so that we may rejoice with you. If the answer is still unfolding, we invite you to share this request again, and we will continue to stand with you in prayer, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot yet see it. May He deepen your hunger for righteousness, sanctify every area of your life, and turn this trial into a testimony of His glory, praise, and honor.

We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus, our Savior and Redeemer. Amen.
