We join you in lifting up your wife and your marriage before the Lord, and we thank God for your desire to see her walk in repentance, godliness with contentment, honesty, and a tender heart toward His Word.

We agree that marriage is a holy covenant ordained by God between a man and a woman for life, and we pray that your marriage will reflect Christ and His church. We are encouraged by your faith that God is at work in her heart and that His Word does not return void. As it is written, so shall my word be that goes out of my mouth, it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing I sent it to do, Isa 55:11. And we remember that the farmer sows the word, Mark 4:14, and that God gives the increase.

We love your prayer that the kindness of God would lead her to repentance, for do you not know that the kindness of God leads you to repentance, Rom 2:4. We pray that she would experience that kindness deeply, not as permission to remain as she is, but as the loving call to turn fully to Christ. We pray also that she would know that godliness with contentment is great gain, 1 Tim 6:6, and that her heart would find its satisfaction not in the world or in self, but in Christ alone, with a contentment that guards against covetousness and complaint.

We pray for honesty in her heart and lips, for the Lord desires truth in the inward parts, and we pray that she would tremble at His Word, for to this man will I look, even to him who is poor and of a contrite spirit, and who trembles at my word, Isa 66:2. We pray that as a mother she would be strengthened to love her children and to fulfill the calling spoken of in Titus 2:4-5 to be sober minded, chaste, workers at home, kind, being in subjection to her own husband, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. We pray that she would have a willing heart to listen to faithful pastors and elders, for we are told to obey your leaders and submit to them, for they watch on behalf of your souls, Heb 13:17.

We also encourage you as her husband to continue to love her as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for it, Eph 5:25, with patience, gentleness, and steadfast prayer, not provoking but nourishing her with the Word, and trusting the Lord to work in His timing. Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ, Phil 1:6, and we claim this for her as well. And we join you in praying for all who have heard the Word through you in recent months, and for your patriarchal and matriarchal figures and for your progeny and posterity, that the Father would not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, Matt 6:13, and that Jesus would keep them from the evil one as He prayed, I pray not that you would take them from the world, but that you would keep them from the evil one, John 17:15. For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things, to him be the glory forever, Rom 11:36.

We pray together now, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, for this precious wife and for this marriage. Lord, we thank You that Your Word is living and powerful and that seeds have been planted. We ask You to water those seeds and bring forth fruit with patience. Pour out Your kindness upon her to lead her to full repentance and faith in Jesus, grant her godliness with contentment, a love for honesty, a humble willingness to hear godly counsel from pastors, grace in her mothering, and a heart that trembles at Your Word. Restrain evil, expose deception, and guard her and her household from temptation and sin. Continue the work You have begun until the day of Christ, and let all who have heard Your Word through this family be kept by Your power. We ask this in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and all the promises of God find their Yes in Him, 2 Cor 1:20. Amen.

We hear how deeply you love your wife and how earnestly you long for her to know the Lord's kindness and walk in godliness and contentment. Thank you for bringing her before the Father so faithfully and for trusting Him to keep working even when change feels slow.

We join you in thanking God for every seed of truth that has been planted over these months, in her life and in your family. Waiting for a heart to turn is heavy work, and it means a lot that you are praying not just for outward behavior but for an honest, inward change that lasts. That kind of turning takes time, and the Lord often uses many quiet influences to water what has been sown.

As you continue to pray, it can help to keep tending your own walk day by day in the same direction you are praying for her, showing steady kindness at home, staying connected to faithful pastors and community yourself, and giving God room to work in His timing. He sees your perseverance and your love for your family.

Father, we lift this wife to You and ask You to draw her gently to Yourself. Guard her from temptation and evil, give her a growing love for truth and for wise counsel, and strengthen her in her home and as a mother. Surround her with people who will speak truth with kindness and show Your goodness. Give her husband peace, patience and hope as he entrusts her to Your care to complete what You have begun. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer is heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace, pleading that the kindness of God which leads to repentance may be richly displayed in this dear wife and mother.

The Word of God does not return void but accomplishes that which He pleases, and the seed is the Word. Seeds have been planted and watered, and we pray that the Lord of the harvest will give the increase in His own time. From Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever.

We pray not for a carnal repentance which trembles for a season and then returns to its former way, but for that repentance unto life which is the work of the Holy Spirit and is a true sign of salvation in Christ. There are many false sorrows which do not give God glory, but true repentance gives Him glory, it yields works meet for repentance, it is practical and it lasts. It ejects sin as an evil tenant and admits Christ to be the sole Master of the heart. It pulls down what is evil and builds up what is holy. It leads the soul to look out of self to Christ and to Christ only, for repentance and remission of sins are preached in His name and are the gift of God. We ask the Lord to grant such a godly sorrow that needs not to be repented of, a sorrow that makes a rainbow with tears for sin and glances of hope at the finished work of Christ.

We pray also for that godliness with contentment which is great gain. Contentment is one of the flowers of heaven and must be cultivated. It is not found in the extent of possessions, for a man's contentment is in his mind, but in submission to God's way of salvation and in trusting His providence. Godliness has the promise of the life that now is and of that which is to come, and where it is found in Christ there is nothing of true joy and peace that shall be withheld. May the Lord teach this wife to find her sufficiency in Christ, to be honest in all things, for honesty is the path of wisdom, and to tremble at His Word, which is the mark of a heart that God esteems.

We ask that she may have grace to hear and heed faithful pastors who preach the whole counsel of God, and that she may embrace with joy the high calling of mothering in the fear of the Lord, nurturing her children in truth and love within the holy covenant of marriage as God ordained it between one man and one woman for life, where love and faithfulness are to dwell.

We continue to ask the Father to bring others across her path to water the seed, to speak truth in love, and to show the kindness that leads to repentance, and to do the same for all who have heard the Word in these months, for patriarchal and matriarchal figures and for progeny and posterity. Keep them from temptation and deliver them from evil, and keep them in the world yet not of it, as Christ prayed. He who has begun a good work will carry it on to completion until the day of Jesus Christ.

We rest upon Him who is able to restrain evil, to bring fresh truth to the heart, and to finish what He has begun. May all be done through Jesus Christ our Lord, in whom alone is salvation, and to whom be all praise. Amen.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect, deliver, heal, save (those not saved) and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. I ask this for them, us and all in need. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.
