🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, but like the rain and snow come down from heaven to water the earth and make it vivacious, so is the Word effective in fulfilling the purposes You have ordained for it to accomplish, Isa 55:10-11. Thank You the seed is the Word of God, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this wife's heart by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last 15 months, especially for our parents, progeny and posterity, Ex 34:6-7. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, The Amen, Faithful Witness, Originator of God's Creation, Rev 3:14, in Him are all the Promises Inherited, Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join with you in this burden for your wife and for all who have heard the Word, and we thank God for your faith to keep planting and watering and trusting Him for the growth.

We are encouraged by your understanding that it is the kindness of God that leads to repentance. As it is written, Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance Rom 2:4. We do not soften sin, we pray that the Holy Spirit will do His work to bring deep conviction, for He will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment John 16:8, and that this conviction would lead to godly sorrow that produces repentance to salvation which brings no regret 2 Cor 7:10.

We also stand on the truth that you have planted and others water, but God gives the growth. We love that you quoted I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase 1 Cor 3:6-7. This keeps us humble and hopeful, for the seed is the Word and the Word will not return void. For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and does not return there, but waters the earth, and makes it grow and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater, so is my word that goes out of my mouth, it will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do Isa 55:10-11. And we know that the word of God is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart Heb 4:12.

We pray with you for the wisdom of the just to turn hearts, as it was prophesied that John would go before the Lord to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord Luke 1:17. We ask God to humble where humbling is needed, for before honor comes humility Prov 18:12, and we have seen in Scripture how God humbled Nebuchadnezzar until he came to his senses and blessed the Most High Dan 4:34, Dan 4:37, and how the prodigal came to himself in the far country Luke 15:17, and how even Hosea's wife was hedged in that she might return Hos 2:6-7. If your wife is walking in sin, whether it be hardness of heart, unbelief, or any form of fornication or unfaithfulness to the marriage covenant, we must lovingly call it what God calls it and pray for true repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus. For marriage is holy before God, a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and what God has joined together, let no man separate Mark 10:9. We pray that God will guard your marriage and restore it for His glory, Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth's sake Ps 115:1.

We pray also that you, as her husband, would be strengthened to love your wife as Christ loved the assembly Eph 5:25, with patience, kindness, and truth, showing the same kindness of God that leads to repentance, and not growing weary in well doing Gal 6:9.

We agree with you that God is perfect and patient, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Pet 3:9, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:4. We thank Him that the steps of a good man are ordered by Yahweh Ps 37:23, and as you noted, He ordered the steps of Philip to the Ethiopian in Acts 8:26, and Ananias to Saul in Acts 9:10, and Paul through the vision to Macedonia in Acts 16:9, and He still orders divine appointments today to water seeds that have been planted. We ask Him to continue to bring faithful witnesses across her path and across the paths of your parents, your progeny and posterity, and all who have heard the Word in these last fifteen months.

We pray with thanksgiving in advance, believing that He who began a good work in you and in her will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Phil 1:6, for My Father is still working, and I am working also John 5:17, and He is a rewarder of those who seek Him Heb 11:6. We ask that He keep you all from evil, from deception and temptation and the evil one, and cause you to receive the love of the truth that you may be saved 2 Thess 2:10, for Salvation to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb Rev 7:10.

We pray together now, Father in heaven, we thank You that Your Word is effective and that You are always working. We lift this dear wife to You and ask that Your Holy Spirit convict her deeply of sin and draw her to repentance toward You through faith in Jesus Christ. Soften her heart, humble her where she needs humbling, open her eyes to see the goodness of Your kindness, and grant her godly sorrow that leads to life. Restrain evil and the lies of the enemy, hedge her way from paths of destruction, and place laborers in her life to water every seed of truth that has been sown. Cause Your Word to take root and bear fruit thirty, sixty and a hundredfold Mark 4:20. We pray for this husband, give him wisdom, endurance, purity, and love that honors You, that he may walk in a manner worthy of his calling and be a picture of Christ's love in his marriage. Guard this covenant, bring reconciliation and restoration where there has been sin and hurt, and let Your glory be seen in this family and in the generations to come. We ask that You call many to salvation, that none would perish, and that all You are drawing would come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved by the name of Jesus, for there is salvation in no other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, who is the Amen, the Faithful and True Witness, the Beginning of God's creation Rev 3:14, in whom all the promises of God are Yes and Amen 2 Cor 1:20, and we trust You for great and mighty things which we do not know Jer 33:3, and for more than all we ask or think according to the power that works in us Eph 3:20. Amen.

We hear the weight and the love behind your prayer, and how long you have been faithfully planting and asking God to water what has been sown in your wife's heart and in the hearts of your parents, children and those who will come after.

It is a tender thing to keep praying when you cannot see the growth yet. What encouraged us in what you shared is your trust that God Himself brings the growth. Our part is to plant and water in kindness and truth, and His part is to work quietly in hearts in His timing. That keeps us both hopeful and patient, not pressing or keeping score, but staying faithful in prayer and in the way we love those we are praying for.

If you have been carrying this mostly alone these last many months, it can help to invite one or two mature, trusted believers to stand with you regularly in prayer. Not to strategize about your wife, but to share the burden, keep you encouraged, and help you keep showing the steady kindness you are asking God to show through you.

We join you in thanking God for every seed of His Word that has been heard and for the work He has already begun.

Father, we thank You for Your kindness and patience toward us all. We ask You to continue Your work in this wife's heart and in each one named before You, drawing them gently toward You and guarding them from deception and harm. Give this husband peace, wisdom and endurance as he waits on You, and bring others across their paths to speak truth in love. Complete what You have begun, for Your glory. In Jesus' name, amen.

We give thanks with you for the confidence you express in the Word of God, that it shall not return void but shall accomplish that which He pleases, as the rain and snow water the earth. The seed is the Word of God, and you have done well to plant it, and to ask that others may come to water it, remembering that neither he that plants nor he that waters is anything, but God gives the increase. This is His work and His glory, not unto us, but unto His name be all praise, for salvation belongs unto our God who sits upon the throne and unto the Lamb.

We join you in praying according to Romans 2:4, that the goodness of God may lead this wife to repentance. The Lord does not drive sinners as a slaveholder drives with the whip, but He draws with cords of love. His goodness, His patience, His daily mercies and forbearances are meant to lead the heart to turn. We pray that the Holy Spirit, who alone convicts the world of sin, will make that goodness felt in her conscience, that she may see sin as sin committed against so holy, so good, so glorious a Being as the blessed God, and turn from it.

We pray for a repentance that is not after a carnal fashion, not a mere trembling or a passing sorrow that soon withers, but that repentance unto life which is a true sign of salvation in Christ. There are many false repentances which do not give God glory and do not last, but true repentance is the gift of God, preached in the name of Jesus, and it is inseparable from faith. It ejects sin as an evil tenant and admits Christ to be sole master of the heart. It yields works meet for repentance, it is practical and it endures. It looks out of self to Christ and to Christ only, weeping and abhorring past sin because of the love of Christ which has pardoned it, and avoiding present sin because of the love of God who died for us. Where there is such godly sorrow, there is remission of sins freely given in Him, for repentance and remission are joined together in Christ and are never to be put asunder, nor is repentance to be put in the place of Christ Himself.

We pray also that this repentance, when God grants it, may give Him glory. That is the scale by which true repentance is weighed. It confesses that God is just and merciful, it justifies Him in His judgments and magnifies Him in His grace. It makes a rainbow with tears of grief for sin and glances of hope at the finished work of Christ.

We ask the Lord to continue His humbling and restoring work, as He did with Nebuchadnezzar who was brought to his senses and lifted his eyes to heaven, and as He did with Peter, whose fall was not a continuance in sin but a sudden fall followed by a speedy and bitter repentance under the potent look of Christ. That look severed Peter from the crowd and broke his heart, and the same Lord who prayed for Peter that his faith fail not is able to restore and to strengthen others. So we pray for this wife, and for parents and children and posterity, and for all who have heard the Word in these months, that before honor comes humility, that they may come to themselves as the prodigal did, and as Hosea's wife when hedged about, and return to the Lord.

We thank God that His Word is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword, judging the thoughts and intents of the heart, and that the Father is always working, and Christ Himself is working, to order steps and bring the right messenger at the right hour, as He sent Philip to the Ethiopian and Ananias to Saul and directed Paul where to go. He is patient, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance and to the knowledge of the truth, and He uses the fervent prayers of His people to that end.

Therefore we will keep planting and watering with you, and trust Him for the harvest. May He keep you and your household and all fellow stewards of the mysteries of God from evil and deception, and guard you by the love of the truth. May He who has begun a good work carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. We ask this not for our merit but in the name of Jesus, the Amen and faithful Witness, in whom all the promises are Yes and Amen, that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise forever.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
