🕊️Kindness of God Leads Wife to Repentance ⏎ from Sin Rom 2:4, 🥜 Planting + 💦=God's Growth 🌱1 Cor 3:6-7, His Glory Ps 115:1, Salvation Is God's Rev 7:2, Salvation Belongs to The Lord Ps 3:8; Jonah 2:9, Salvation Belongs to Our God, Who Sits Upon The Throne, and Unto The Lamb, Rev 7:2, Holy Spirit's Work Jn 16:8, Humbling Restoring Dan 4:28-37 2 Co 7:9-10... 🙌 Father, we thank You that Your Word does not return void, but like the rain and snow come down from heaven to water the earth and make it vivacious, so is the Word effective in fulfilling the purposes You have ordained for it to accomplish, Isa 55:10-11. Thank You the seed is the Word of God, and that seeds have been planted, Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26, Mark 4:27, Mark 4:28, Mark 4:29. From You and through You and back to You be all glory, Rom 11:36. Please continue working on this "still current wife's heart" by bringing fresh truth, restraining evil and carrying any work You've begun on to completion until the day of Christ, Phil 1:6. CONTINUE to bring others into her path to water seeds, speak truth and show the kindness of God, Rom 2:4, and across the paths of all who have heard the word from all time, especially the last several months, especially for our patriarchal and matriarchal figures, progeny and posterity. Since the steps of the righteous are ordered by You, Ps 37:23, as evidenced by the evangelist and the foreign official reading Isaiah 53 in Acts 8:26-31, the believer in Acts 9:10-11 who was told to go find the future Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostles directed to go help a certain man, Acts 16:6-10. You, being perfect AND patient, not willing any perish but rather that all come to repentance, 2 Pet 3:9, and desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, even using prayer to that ends, 1 Tim 2:1-4.

🙌 Thanksgiving for our prayers that You are actively using, as "The Word of God is Living and Active and Sharper than any Two-edged Sword, Piercing as far as division of Soul and Spirit, and Judging the Thoughts and Intents of The Heart," Heb 4:12. "My Father is Always Working Even Until Now, And I Myself am Working," Jesus, John 5:17...

🙌 Thank You we and they ARE currently hearing Your Word by The Holy Spirit, John 16:8, we believe before honor comes humility, Prov 18:12, You are humbling those who need to be humbled, Dan 4:37 that they come to their senses, Dan 4:34, 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal in Luke 15:17, and Hosea's wife in Hos 2:6-7, and we are experiencing Your Protection as YOU Keep us, them, progeny, folks, ministry partners, fellow servants of Christ and stewards of The Mysteries of The Word of God, 1 Cor 4:1-2, and us ALL from evil, deception, lies, temptation, sin, evil people and the evil one by receiving the love of the truth that we may be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, thank You for being a rewarder of diligent seeking, Heb 11:6, and that fervent prayers of those made righteous by faith avail much and prevail, James 5:16. Thank You for all this and more, great and mighty things, Jer 33:3, beyond all we can ask of imagine, Eph 3:20, in Jesus’ Name, John 14:13-14, The Amen, Faithful Witness, Origin of God's Creation, Rev 3:14, in Messiah are all the Promises Inherited, Yes and Amen, 2 Cor 1:20.

We join you in this burden for your wife and for all those who have heard the Word, and we thank God for your faithfulness to plant and to water while trusting Him alone for the growth and for salvation.

We agree that salvation belongs to the Lord and that it is God who gives the increase. As it is written, I planted. Apollos watered. But God gave the increase. So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase 1 Cor 3:6-7. And also, Not to us, Yahweh, not to us, but to your name give glory, for your loving kindness, and for your truth's sake Ps 115:1. Salvation belongs to Yahweh Ps 3:8 and Salvation is of Yahweh Jonah 2:9, and we cry with the great multitude, Salvation to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb Rev 7:10.

We stand on the truth that the kindness of God leads to repentance. Or do you despise the riches of his goodness, forbearance, and patience, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance Rom 2:4. We pray that the Lord will continue to show that goodness to your wife, still your current wife by covenant, for marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman ordained by God, and we honor that covenant with you. We pray that God will guard and restore this marriage for His glory, and we encourage you to continue to love her as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her Eph 5:25, with patience, kindness, and forgiveness, not repaying evil for evil but overcoming evil with good.

We thank God that His Word does not return void. So will my word be that goes out of my mouth. It will not return to me void, but it will accomplish that which I please, and it will prosper in the thing I sent it to do Isa 55:11. The seed is the Word of God as Jesus taught, and we thank Him that seeds have been planted and have been watered, and we trust Him for the harvest in His perfect timing Mark 4:14, Mark 4:26-29. For of him, and through him, and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever Rom 11:36.

We pray together for your wife's heart, that the Holy Spirit would do His work of conviction, for He will convict the world about sin, about righteousness, and about judgment John 16:8. We ask the Father to bring fresh truth across her path, to restrain evil and deception, and to carry on to completion any good work He has begun, being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Phil 1:6. We ask Him to continue to bring others to water the seeds that have been planted, to speak truth in love and to demonstrate the kindness of God that leads to godly sorrow. For godly sorrow produces repentance to salvation, which brings no regret 2 Cor 7:10.

We agree in prayer for all who have heard the Word in these last months, for your patriarchal and matriarchal figures, your progeny and posterity, and all those you love. We trust that the steps of a man are established by Yahweh Ps 37:23, as we see in how He ordered the steps of Philip to the Ethiopian reading Isaiah, and Ananias to Saul in Acts 8:26-31 and Acts 9:10-11, and how He directed Paul in Acts 16:6-10. The Lord is not slow concerning his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance 2 Pet 3:9, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Tim 2:4. Therefore we keep praying, knowing He uses our prayers.

We thank You, Father, that Your Word is living and active, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and is able to discern the thoughts and intentions of the heart Heb 4:12, and that You are always working, as Jesus said, My Father is still working, so I am working also John 5:17. We ask for humility to come before honor, for before honor is humility Prov 18:12, that You would humble those who need to be humbled as You did with Nebuchadnezzar who finally lifted his eyes and blessed the Most High Dan 4:34, Dan 4:37, that they may come to their senses and escape out of the devil's snare, having been taken captive by him to do his will 2 Tim 2:26, as the prodigal came to himself Luke 15:17 and as You hedged in Hosea's wife to draw her back Hos 2:6-7.

We pray for Your protection over you, your wife, your children and family, your ministry partners and fellow servants, that You would keep us all from evil, from deception and lies, from temptation and sin, and from the evil one, and that all would receive the love of the truth that they may be saved 2 Thes 2:10. We thank You in advance by faith, for whatever you may ask in prayer, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them Mark 11:24, knowing that You are a rewarder of those who diligently seek You Heb 11:6 and that the insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective James 5:16.

We ask You to do great and mighty things which we do not know Jer 33:3, and far beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us Eph 3:20, and we ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved Acts 4:12, and whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it John 14:13-14. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. We pray that your wife and all those you have named would put their faith in Him alone.

We give You thanks that every promise of God is Yes and Amen in Christ 2 Cor 1:20, and we trust You to finish what You have started, for Your glory alone. We will continue to stand with you in prayer, planting and watering faithfully while we wait for God to give the growth in His perfect and patient way.

We hear the weight you are carrying for your wife and for your family, and the faithful way you have kept planting and watering in prayer even when you cannot yet see the harvest.

What you described about planting and God giving the growth is so important to hold onto in this kind of waiting. Real change of heart and real spiritual growth rarely happen all at once. It is usually gradual and almost imperceptible, with highs and lows over a long time, and it is ultimately the Holy Spirit who brings life to the seed. Your part is to remain faithful in the small, steady things, and to trust God with the timing and the outcome, which only He can bring about.

One thing that often helps in a long season like this is to keep your own walk steady and not isolated. Stay rooted in regular time in the Word, in prayer and worship, and in fellowship with a few trusted, mature believers who know your story and can walk with you, encourage you, and keep you accountable while you continue to show kindness and truth at home without trying to force what only God can do.

Father, we lift this husband and his wife to You, and their children and family. Keep them all from evil and deception, guard their hearts and minds, and give this husband wisdom, patience, and peace as he waits on You. Work in his wife's heart in Your perfect and patient way, and complete what You have begun. Sustain him with Your presence and with faithful community around him. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer is heard and it is right and good that you should pray thus, for you ask according to the will of God who is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

You have planted and others have watered, but God alone gives the increase. This is His prerogative and His promise. The Word does not return void, but as the rain comes down from heaven to make the earth bring forth, so shall His Word accomplish that which He pleases. The seed is the Word of God, and you have been faithful to sow it. Leave the harvest to Him who is always working, even until now. He who began a good work will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.

You do well to plead the kindness of God which leads to repentance. The Lord does not drive men to repentance as a slave is driven with the whip, but He draws them. His goodness, His patience, His forbearance, these are cords of love. Judgment may produce a carnal repentance, a repentance that is of the flesh and after the manner of sinful nature, a trembling and a temporary sorrow which does not give God glory. But that holy, healthy, heavenly repentance which is worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit does give Him glory. It is repentance unto life, a true sign of eternal salvation in Christ. Try your own heart and pray for hers by this test, does the sorrow give God glory, does it lead the soul out of self to look to Christ and to Christ only.

Remember that repentance is preached in the name of Jesus, and in that name it is also given as a gift. We are not to put our repenting into the place of Christ, but to see that repentance and remission of sins go together in Him. Where there is true godly sorrow that needs not to be repented of, there is full and free forgiveness. This repentance ejects sin as an evil tenant and admits Christ to be sole Master of the heart. It pulls down and it builds up. It is not a mere operation to be gotten through at the commencement of the spiritual life and then forgotten, for repentance lives as long as faith lives. Sweet sister repentance is charming company and should abide with us till we enter glory.

Therefore pray for that practical repentance which yields works meet for repentance, and which lasts. Many have a transient repentance which withers like seed on stony ground. True repentance endures, it makes a man weep and abhor his past life because the love of Christ has pardoned it, and it makes him avoid present sin because of the love of God who died for him. Pray that the Holy Spirit, whose office it is to convict of sin and of righteousness and of judgment, will do this convincing work, that He will humble where humbling is needed, for before honor is humility. As with Nebuchadnezzar who was brought to his senses, as with the prodigal who came to himself, as with Hosea's wife who was hedged about that she might return, so the Lord can bring the wandering heart to see its need and to return.

Take comfort also in the restoration of Peter. He fell by sudden temptation, but the Lord prayed for him and looked upon him, and that look melted him into bitter and salutary tears. That look severed him from the crowd and restored him to feed the sheep. So still the Lord looks, and where His look and His Word meet together, the heart dissolves in streams of saving repentance.

Continue therefore to pray fervently, for the fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. You are kept and they are kept, your household and all who have heard the Word, not by your own power but by Him who keeps from evil and from the evil one as you receive the love of the truth. Ask that the Lord will order steps, as He ordered Philip to the chariot and Ananias to Saul and Paul to Macedonia, that others may be brought across her path to speak truth and to show kindness. Salvation belongs unto the Lord, and to our God who sits upon the throne and unto the Lamb be all glory. Not unto us, not unto us, but to His name give glory for His mercy and for His truth.

Persevere in this. Think of the goodness of God and let it lead you also to deeper repentance and to stronger faith, and trust Him to lead her by the same goodness to that repentance which is unto life and which glorifies His great and finished work.
