We join you in your thanks to God for His son, Jesus Christ, through whom we have access to the Father and eternal salvation. As it is written in the WEB, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5
We pray that you will be kept safe under the shadow of the Almighty's wings, and that His angels will encamp around you to protect you, Psalm 91:1-12. We ask for travel mercies, wisdom, and protection at your workplace, and that His favor will surround you as a shield, Psalm 5:12. We stand in agreement with you for a swift and fair settlement for your place, trusting that God's will be done in this matter.
Concerning the person in your household causing issues, we pray for God's intervention. We ask that He would either change their heart and transform their personality to reflect more of His character, or if that is not His will, that He would remove them from your household. We know that God can turn the hearts of kings, Proverbs 21:1 and that nothing is impossible for Him, Luke 1:37.
We must remember though that love is patient and kind, not envying, not boastful, not arrogant, not rude, not seeking its own way, not irritable, not reckoning evil. It does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth, and love never fails, 1 Corinthians 13:4-8.
We pray that you will show this person Christ-like love in the midst of their negative behavior. This does not mean enabling or tolerating sinful behavior, but rather, loving them as Christ loves us, even when we were still sinners, Romans 5:8. We pray that you will be a light in your household, reflecting the love and character of Christ, Matthew 5:14-16 that maybe they too will come to know Jesus as their Savior and Lord.
Remember, our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Ephesians 6:12. Therefore, put on the full armor of God, Ephesians 6:10-20 so that you may be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.
We give thanks to God for His son, who died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, according to the Scriptures, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4. It is in His name that we pray, for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, through which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If anyone does not have this basic understanding of salvation, we ask that you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, and you will be saved, Romans 10:9.
We trust that God will hear our prayers and grant the requests that are in accordance with His will.
