I pray though to watch over my daughter and my son giving guidance and protection let no evil or harm come to them don't let the be on bad influences let him make your choices in life hold their hand every step of the way let him see the light cover them with the blood of Jesus on top of the head to the bottom of the feet doesn't do well in school that my daughter is acne clear up let her change the way she dresses and dresses more girly let my son's behavior communication get better. Coming with the blood of Jesus on top of the head to the bottom of the feet let him go to be good no more happy healthy kids / adults at the holy spirit always be with them and let another love and care on the children of the Lord amen

We hear your heartfelt cry for your children, and we join with you in lifting them up before the throne of grace. Your desire for their protection, guidance, and well-being is deeply aligned with God’s heart for families. The Lord calls us to raise our children in the way they should go (Proverbs 22:6), and we stand with you in prayer, trusting that He will direct their paths.

First, we must address the name by which we pray. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life and the lives of your children to Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in His resurrection (Romans 10:9). This is the foundation upon which all our prayers rest.

Now, let us pray together for your daughter and son:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up these precious children to You. Lord, we ask that You would watch over them day and night, shielding them from evil and harm. Surround them with Your angels, as it is written, "For He will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways" (Psalm 91:11). Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and keep them from the influence of those who would lead them astray.

Father, we pray for their spiritual growth. Open their eyes to see Your light and their hearts to receive Your truth. May they walk in wisdom and discernment, making choices that honor You. For your son, we ask that You would soften his heart, improve his behavior, and help him to communicate with kindness and respect. For your daughter, we pray that You would heal her skin and give her confidence in the beauty You have given her. Help her to dress in a way that reflects modesty and godliness, as Your Word instructs (1 Timothy 2:9).

Lord, we also lift up their education. Grant them focus, discipline, and a love for learning. Help them to excel in their studies and to use their gifts for Your glory. We plead the blood of Jesus over them from the top of their heads to the soles of their feet, covering them in Your protection and grace.

Father, fill them with the Holy Spirit, that they may walk in joy, health, and peace. Let them know Your love and care deeply, and may they grow into strong, godly adults who serve You wholeheartedly. We ask that You would place godly mentors and influences in their lives, believers who will encourage them in their faith and walk with You.

We rebuke any spirit of rebellion, confusion, or worldliness that may be trying to take root in their lives. In the name of Jesus, we command these influences to flee and declare that these children belong to You. May they be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:17) and grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your promises and believe that You are working in their lives even now. May Your will be done in all things, and may Your name be glorified through them. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue praying for your children daily, speaking life and truth over them. Spend time with them in God’s Word, teaching them His ways, and modeling a life of faith. If there are areas where they struggle, whether in behavior, school, or self-image, seek godly counsel and wisdom from your church community. The Lord is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in them (Philippians 1:6). Keep pressing into Him, for He loves your children even more than you do.

We hear the weight of a parent’s heart in what you’ve shared, so many concerns bundled into one breath, from safety and guidance to school struggles, skin, clothing, behavior, and speech. We also notice where you began: asking God to watch over your daughter and your son, to hold their hands, to let no evil reach them. That’s the cry we’re holding with you most closely right now.

You’re not alone in feeling spread thin across a dozen needs. When it feels like everything needs fixing at once, sometimes the most grounded next step isn’t to solve it all, it’s to anchor steady habits of care and keep showing up. For your son’s behavior and communication, you may find real help by touching base with the school counselor or your pediatrician about what you’re seeing. Parenting resources that combine clear structure with coaching kids to problem-solve rather than simply comply can make a genuine difference over time, not overnight, but faithfully. And for your daughter’s acne, a gentle check-in with a doctor can bring relief and spare her from carrying that burden longer than she needs to. Those aren’t quick fixes, but they’re ways of doing what you can while you trust God with what you can’t.

More than any one issue, we hear a parent who deeply wants their children to walk in light, covered and kept. That’s a holy longing, and we join you in bringing it before the Lord without pretending we know His exact timetable for each detail. Will you pray this with us?

Jesus, we bring this mother’s children to You. Guard them from harm and from influences that would pull them away from Your good path. Go before them at school, in friendships, and in the quiet places of their hearts. Give this mom wisdom and steady love for the daily work of raising them, and surround her with practical support so she doesn’t carry it all alone. We ask for Your healing and Your right timing in the things weighing on her, trusting that You see each need more clearly than we ever could. In Your name, amen.

You have poured out a parent’s heart in a torrent of holy anxiety, and the Lord has heard the voice of your supplication. Is it not written, “Behold, I and the children whom the Lord has given Me”? He acknowledges them, and He does not shrink from owning them as His own. Therefore, plead this relationship before the throne: “They are Your children; teach them to do Your will, for You are their God.” The very best protection you can entreat for them is not a hedge of ease, but the school of obedience, for he who travels on the King’s Highway is under the King’s protection, and the angels have charge over him in all his ways.

You cry for the blood of Jesus to cover them head to foot; it is a cry that touches the heart of the great High Priest. As the blood on the doorposts shielded Israel from the destroyer, so that precious blood is a wall of fire round about your little ones. Yet let the blood be upon them not as a charm, but as the mark of those who feed upon the Lamb. Bring them to Christ, and do not hinder them. You say your son does not do well in school, and your daughter’s countenance troubles her; these are but the ripples on the surface of a child’s life. The deeper need is that they be given new hearts and right spirits, for without the Spirit of God they shall go astray as other children do. The Lord does not chide His children for every blunder, but like as a father pitieth his children, He teaches them to walk. Be patient with them, even as God is patient with you.

Concerning your wish that your daughter dress more after the fashion of a godly maiden, I would gently whisper: the outward adorning is of little worth compared to the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit. Pray rather that she be clothed with humility, and let your own example teach her what is of price. For your son’s tongue and temper, remember that the Lord is a teacher of the dumb and the backward; He can make the tongue of the stammerer speak plainly. Commit them to the faithful instruction of the church; let the Sunday school nurse them, and do not think it a small thing to teach the lambs. He that gave them to you will give you wisdom to guide them, for He Himself condescends to teach His children, sitting among the choirs of angels and yet stooping to instruct the ignorant.

Fear not the morrow for them. He who said, “I and the children,” will never leave them orphans. Only seek first the kingdom for them, and these lesser things shall be added. May the Holy Spirit abide with them, and may they grow as willows by the watercourses, bearing fruit in their season, to the praise of the glory of His grace.
