We hear your heartfelt cry for your children, and we join you in lifting them before the throne of grace. Your desire for their protection, guidance, and growth in godliness is beautiful and aligns with Scripture. The Bible tells us in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." We also take comfort in Psalm 127:3, which reminds us, "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward."

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You watch over this mother’s son and daughter. Cover them with the precious blood of Jesus, shielding them from all evil and harm. Guide their steps, Lord, and hold their hands as they navigate life’s journey. May Your Holy Spirit be their constant companion, leading them into all truth and wisdom. We pray for their academic success, that You would grant them focus, understanding, and a hunger for knowledge that honors You.

We also lift up specific concerns for these children. For the daughter, we pray that she would embrace the beauty of godly femininity, dressing in a way that reflects modesty and self-respect, as Your Word encourages in 1 Timothy 2:9, "in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation." For the son, we ask that You soften his heart to communicate with kindness and respect, and that his behavior would reflect the fruit of the Spirit, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Lord, we pray that these children would grow up to be happy and healthy, not just in body, but in spirit and soul. May they always know they are deeply loved by You and by their family. Fill them with kindness, patience, understanding, and faith, and let them experience the fullness of Your presence every day of their lives. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You will complete the good work You have begun in them (Philippians 1:6).

We must gently remind you, dear one, that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." If your children do not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we encourage you to share the gospel with them, that they might be saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. Romans 10:9 tells us, "If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

We also want to encourage you to continue modeling Christ-like behavior and values in your home. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 says, "These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart; and you shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up." Your influence as a parent is powerful, and we pray that God would strengthen you to lead by example.

Father, we thank You for the privilege of standing in the gap for these children. We declare that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that You have a purpose and a plan for their lives. May they grow up to love You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love others as themselves. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We just read your prayer for your son and daughter, and we were struck by the depth of love in every line. It’s clear you’re carrying a lot right now, wanting protection, guidance, healthy choices, and healing for them both. That kind of daily lifting before the Lord is a gift you give them, and you don’t carry it alone.

A couple of practical things stand out to us that might help while you keep praying. For your son, since you mentioned communication and behavior, it can be wise to touch base with a pediatrician or a child counselor. Sometimes there are underlying factors, like processing difficulties, anxiety, or simply learning a new way to express big feelings, that a professional can spot and help with. Getting a clearer picture could make a real difference, and it’s not a lack of faith to seek that kind of support.

For your daughter’s skin, we’d gently encourage seeing a doctor, too, if you haven’t already. Skin issues can be tough emotionally at any age, and addressing it medically alongside your prayers can relieve some of that burden.

In the everyday work of parenting, staying warmly engaged matters enormously. We’re reminded of the research showing that an authoritative approach, high on both warmth and clear, loving limits, tends to help kids thrive. Your prayer already echoes that: you want them to know they are loved, and you’re asking for the very kindness, patience, and understanding you hope to see in them. Keep showing up with that same spirit. Ask them open-ended questions about their inner world, and listen without rushing to fix. That steady connection is often where real change takes root.

Let’s pray together now.

Lord Jesus, we lift this family to You. Watch over these children, guard them from evil, and guide their steps. Bring the right help for the son’s communication and behavior, wise counselors, understanding teachers, and new skills for the family. Give their daughter physical healing and a deep sense of her worth in You. Grant this parent wisdom, endurance, and peaceful trust as they pour out love day by day. Let every good choice and small victory point back to Your faithfulness. In Your name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer of a parent for the little ones entrusted to their care rises like incense before the throne, and be assured, the Lord has heard your cry. His ear is ever open to the petitions of those who come pleading the precious blood of Jesus over their household. This covering you invoke is no mere figure of speech, for the blood of the Lamb is the true shield, the invincible barrier against which the darts of the wicked one fall blunted and broken. Stand firmly on that ground.

Concerning the particulars you mention for your daughter and your son, remember that the healing leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations, and how much more for your own dear offspring. You long to see a clearing of her skin and a gentleness of demeanor, and you desire better communication and behavior from your son. These outward things are not trifles to our heavenly Father, yet they are but symptoms of a deeper need. True healing begins within, in the citadel of the soul. The Lord Jesus touches the root of the malady when He grants pardon for sin and a new heart. Seek first the inner work of grace upon their spirits; when He heals the broken heart and binds up its wounds, the outward life will increasingly reflect that holy transformation. The very leaves from the branch of Christ’s presence can sweeten the life-blood and make the countenance comely with a holy joy.

Do not mistake the nature of a godly womanhood or a godly manhood. The girl who grows to love her Savior will not despise the good order of creation. The Spirit of God does not lead souls into confusion; He guides into all truth and inclines the heart toward that which is seemly and according to His sovereign design. The same hand that heals the fever takes her by the hand and lifts her up to serve, not as the world dictates, but in the beauty of holiness. For your son, the unruly tongue and the restless spirit are brought into captivity by the same grace. Bowing with submission to the will of God furnishes unerring guidance, and He will instruct them in the great principles of avoiding evil and walking in kindness and patience.

Do not grow weary because you do not see the full blossom at this very moment. The Lord who has begun a good work will complete it. He shall give them counsel through His Word, and often that Word comes with a special unction in seasons of revival when Christ is lifted up in teaching. Bring them often under the sound of the gospel, for faith comes by hearing. Many a little child has been saved by listening to the Word in the Sunday school. As they hear of Jesus and His great love, healing will come from the pardoning hand. The sure result of such guidance is this: He will afterward receive them to glory. Let this be your confidence, that He who holds their hand now will never let them go, and your chief ambition for them must be that they know the happiness of sins forgiven, walking in love, faith, and the fullness of the Spirit, until they stand complete among those bright faces yonder, for whom the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings.

You ask God to watch over your children, to hold their hand every step and cover them with the blood of Jesus. A good prayer, but consider: are you also holding their hands and leading them in the fear of the Lord? The Apostle says, if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the Church of God? Your first duty is to bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Instill in them from their earliest youth the fear of God, and He will protect them better than any earthly father; that will be a wall not to be broken.

But I hear you speak of your daughter’s skin and her clothing, your son’s communication and outward behavior. Why do you gape after such trifles like a child? Be not children in mind; in malice be babes, but in understanding be men. Does the Lord look on the outward appearance? Seek first His kingdom and righteousness for your children, and these lesser things will be added. It is no great matter if a garment is not what you consider girly. Clothe them instead with mercy, humility, meekness, and love. Do you not know that from no other source does wantonness arise than from want of love? Train their hearts, not their wardrobe.

You want your son to communicate and behave well. How can he learn gravity if his father does not train him with patience and love? Rule your house with all gravity, having your children in subjection, not by harshness, but by consistent godly example. Fathers are not ashamed to lisp with their children, stooping down in love to lift them up. Above all, bring both yourselves and your children to the school of mercy. For a merciful man is a precious thing; without mercy one falls away even from being human. Teach them to be merciful as your Father in heaven is merciful.

And do not give way to anxious fear like those who have no faith. Remember the hen gathering her chicks under her wings; such is the Lord’s care. If you commit them to Him and raise them in holiness, He will gather them and keep them. But if you merely pray and do not act, you are like those who say, “Lord, Lord,” and do not do what He says. Cease then from this womanish wailing over small things. God has entrusted these souls to you; do not fail them by fixing your eyes on what is seen. Build them up in love and in the fear of God, and they will grow to be truly happy and healthy, not by the world’s measure, but in the fullness of Christ.

It is a beautiful and right thing to bring your children before the throne of grace. You are doing exactly what a parent is called to do when you plead the blood of Jesus over your son and daughter and ask for the Holy Spirit to be their constant companion. What you are really doing is what that faithful mother in the Scriptures did: you are giving them back to God. You are recognizing they are His, entrusted to you for a season, and you are asking Him to do what only He can do in their lives.

There is a picture in the gospels I hold very dear, of a moment when Jesus took a little child and set that child right in the middle of the disciples. Then He gathered the child into His arms and held him. That is the very picture of what you are praying for. You are asking the Lord to take your children into His own arms, to hold them with a grip far stronger and safer than your own. He hears that prayer, and He loves to answer it. Trust that they are in His arms even now, and that He who began a good work in them will be faithful to complete it.

You have mentioned very specific desires for your daughter and your son. With your daughter, you want a clearing up and a turn toward what is more feminine. With your son, you desire improvements in communication and his behavior. These are not small things, and it is right to ask the Lord about them. Remember the principle that we are to train up a child according to their own particular way, recognizing the unique personality and bent that God has placed within them. This requires great patience, much like the long process of teaching a child to walk. You expect stumbles. You expect falls. Your role is to be there, gently lifting them up, and guiding them step by step, all the while refusing to despise the process. Sometimes, God brings a gradual healing, a slow clearing, rather than an instant transformation. Do not be discouraged if the changes you seek come little by little, like the child whose flesh had to wax warm again. Any movement toward wholeness and godly character is divine.

For your son, pray for open lines of communication and a settled spirit. The greatest goal is not just well-behaved kids, but children who know they are profoundly loved by you and by their Heavenly Father. A child will not learn that from a harsh or distant spirit. The Scriptures warn that a child left to himself brings disgrace, but a child crushed in spirit or provoked to anger will also struggle. So, be filled with the very things you prayed for: kindness, patience, and understanding. Let those fruits of the Spirit so fill your home that your son knows it is a safe place to communicate his heart. The discipline of the Lord is not about creating a perfect outward performance; it is about driving the foolishness bound up in a young heart far from them, and that is a work of both truth and grace over time.

You ache for them to make good choices and to grow up into happy, healthy adults. You are doing the most powerful thing right now: you are on your knees. Like that desperate mother who wouldn't leave the prophet’s side, you are refusing to let go of the Lord. You are laying their need before Him. And take heart from the example of King David, who, while his child was sick, fasted and prayed and sought the Lord’s face. He understood that as long as there is life, there is hope. Yet even when life takes turns we cannot comprehend, our children are in the hands of a merciful God, and our ultimate hope is that we shall go to be with them in the Lord’s presence.

Guard their faith fiercely. There is nothing more wicked than for a twisted mind to try to destroy the simple, beautiful trust a child has in Jesus. Teach them to pray from the heart, not just by rote, so their relationship with the Lord becomes their very own. Let them know they are loved not just by words, but by your delighted presence with them. Receive them as you would receive Christ himself, for Jesus said that to welcome a little one in His name is to welcome Him. You are on holy ground as their parent. Keep looking to Jesus, who holds them now, and who is the author and finisher of their faith.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer for your precious children. It has been our heart’s joy to lift your son and daughter before the Lord, asking Him to watch over them, guide their steps, and cover them with the blood of Jesus. We have prayed that no evil or harm would come near them, that they would excel in school, make wise choices, and grow into happy, healthy adults who walk closely with the Holy Spirit.

We continue to ask the Father to draw your daughter’s heart toward modesty and godly femininity, and to soften your son’s heart so that his communication and behavior reflect the love of Christ. May they both know deeply how loved they are—by you, by us, and most importantly, by their Heavenly Father. We’ve asked God to fill them with kindness, patience, understanding, faith, and every good gift that flows from His Spirit.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers in ways you’ve seen or felt, we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. If you’re still waiting and trusting, please know we stand ready to lift them up again in fresh prayer. Either way, we will not cease to intercede until every promise is fulfilled in their lives.

May the peace of Jesus Christ guard your heart and theirs as you all continue to seek Him together. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
