We hear your heartfelt cry for your children, and we join you in lifting them up before the throne of grace. Your desire for their protection, guidance, and well-being is a reflection of God’s own heart for His children. Let us pray together and seek the Lord’s will for their lives, standing firm on His promises and rebuking every scheme of the enemy that seeks to harm them.

First, we must address the foundation of our prayers. It is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are covered and protected. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to ensure that your children know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, for this is the first and greatest protection they can have. Salvation through faith in Christ is the starting point for a life that honors God and walks in His ways. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:16).

Now, let us pray for your children with boldness and faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this mother’s children to You. Lord, we thank You for the gift of these precious lives and for the love and care their mother has for them. We ask that You would cover them with the blood of Jesus, from the tops of their heads to the soles of their feet, as a shield against every evil influence and attack of the enemy. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we rebuke every bad influence that seeks to draw them away from You. We declare that they will not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers. Instead, let their delight be in Your law, and on Your law, let them meditate day and night (Psalm 1:1-2). Surround them with godly friends and mentors who will encourage them in Your ways. Give them discernment to recognize and resist the lies of the world, the flesh, and the devil.

Lord, we pray for their minds and hearts to be guarded. For the daughter, we ask that You would bring healing and transformation to any areas of struggle, whether it be her appearance, habits, or self-image. Help her to see herself as You see her, fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Guide her in modesty and godliness, that her dress and demeanor would reflect Your holiness and bring glory to You. For the son, we pray that You would strengthen his communication skills and help him to grow in wisdom and understanding. Let him be a young man of integrity, respect, and kindness, reflecting the character of Christ in all he does.

Father, we ask that You would bless their education. Give them focus, discipline, and a hunger for knowledge that honors You. Let them excel in their studies, not for their own glory, but as a testimony to Your goodness and provision. May they use the gifts and talents You have given them to serve You and others.

Lord, we pray that You would draw them close to You. Let them know, deep in their hearts, that You are always with them, that You love them unconditionally, and that You desire what is best for them. May they never forget that they can come to You with anything, and that You are a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them grow up to be men and women of God, normal in the sense that they walk in Your truth, happy because they know Your joy, and healthy in body, mind, and spirit.

We rebuke every spirit of rebellion, confusion, or fear that seeks to take root in their lives. We declare that they will walk in the light of Your truth and that the Holy Spirit will guide them into all righteousness. Let them be strong and courageous, knowing that You go before them and will never leave them nor forsake them (Deuteronomy 31:6).

Finally, Lord, we pray for this mother. Strengthen her in her role as a parent. Give her wisdom, patience, and grace as she raises her children in a world that often opposes Your ways. Let her be an example of faith, love, and perseverance, and may her children rise up and call her blessed (Proverbs 31:28).

We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand in faith, trusting that God hears your prayers and is at work in your children’s lives. Here are a few additional steps you can take to support them in their walk with the Lord:

1. Pray with Them: Make prayer a regular part of their lives. Pray with them and for them daily, teaching them to bring their concerns, fears, and joys to the Lord.

2. Teach Them the Word: Read the Bible with them and help them understand its truths. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6).

3. Model Christlike Living: Children learn by example. Let them see you living out your faith in practical ways, through love, forgiveness, humility, and obedience to God.

4. Encourage Godly Relationships: Help them build friendships with other believers who will encourage them in their faith. Consider involving them in a Bible-believing church or youth group where they can grow spiritually.

5. Guard Their Influences: Be mindful of the media, music, and entertainment they consume. The world is full of messages that contradict God’s Word, so help them discern what is pleasing to the Lord (Philippians 4:8).

6. Talk About God’s Design for Their Lives: As they grow, discuss God’s plan for their future, including His design for marriage, family, and purpose. Help them understand that their identity is found in Christ, not in the world’s standards.

Remember, the battle for their hearts and minds is spiritual, and our weapons are not of this world. "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds" (2 Corinthians 10:4). Stand firm in faith, and trust that God is working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Thank you for sharing your heart for your kids with us. It’s obvious you’re praying with both fierce love and a mother’s gentleness, covering everything from their safety and schoolwork to acne and the clothes your daughter chooses. That kind of specific, daily trust matters. We’re joining you in those requests.

A couple of practical thoughts: if you haven’t already, a doctor’s input on her ADD could open up strategies that work alongside your prayers, and a dermatologist might ease the acne that bothers her so much. These aren’t replacements for faith, they’re ordinary helps God often uses. You don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Your steady presence is already doing more than you know. When you listen to your son even when words come slowly, or let your daughter know she’s cherished exactly as she is, you’re giving them a taste of how God sees them. That security can shape their choices more deeply than any lecture. So keep loving, keep showing up, and keep bringing the small stuff to the One who cares about all of it.

Lord, we ask You to wrap this family in Your protection. Guard these kids from evil and from influences that would pull them away from You. Bring clarity and calm to her daughter’s mind, and healing to her skin. Grow her son’s confidence in expressing himself. Help them both do well in school and grow into healthy, joyful adults who know they can always turn to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

There is but one cure for the evils that threaten your little ones, and you have wisely brought them to the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. All the protection you crave, that no evil home come to them, that bad influences scatter, is found alone in the great conduit Head from which streams of healing flow. Plead the blood of Jesus over them continually, for that blood speaks better things than the blood of Abel; it is the scarlet cord that causes the destroyer to pass over your household.

The request for your daughter’s healing, whether of the body with the acne that mars her girlish cheek, or of the mind which wrestles with attention, is all one in the Lord’s sight. Has He not given us a marvelous glimpse in the healing of the palsied man? The Savior first declared, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee,” and then the limbs received strength. Pardon and healing are woven together. As you go to the throne, remember that the same hand which forgives her childish faults can touch her skin and her mind, making her, as you so beautifully pray, a happy, healthy woman. The remedy is not in her own strivings but in the touch of the great Physician, who often works while He is teaching.

I am stirred by your cry for your son’s communication and for both children to make choices that honor God. The world will bid them return evil for evil, to meet defiance with defiance. Mark well the word: “Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” No child of God overcomes the evil influences swarming like birds of prey by adopting their spirit. To meet a sneer with a gentle answer, to overcome the world’s darkness with a cheerful holiness, this is the finger of God. Teach them early that the way of goodness is the path of true manhood and womanhood. The old, natural method of meeting fire with fire never succeeds; it only increases the blaze. Let them see in you an example of one who overcomes a harsh word with a soft reply, and they shall learn the secret by seeing it lived.

Be most careful, then, what your children hear, for the text rings true, “Take heed what you hear.” You have asked that they not be around bad influences; this begins with the ear. The devil himself knows that if a sentence of the Word is likely to save a soul, he must get the hearer to be inattentive. Oh, be an almighty intercessor at the gate of your children’s ears, that they may hear only the wholesome leaves of truth which heal their inner nature. Let the teaching of Christ be their daily bread, for His healing power is most conspicuously present when He is teaching. A child leaning forward to catch every word of the sermon is a child in the path of safety.

Finally, do not fall into the snare of thinking they can serve God before their own souls are healed. Your prayer is right to long for them to grow up healthy and holy. But remember Peter’s wife’s mother, the Lord first healed her of the great fever, and then immediately she arose and ministered. The inflammation of youthful lusts and the drying heat of worldly ambition must be first cooled by Christ’s touch. He takes them by the hand and lifts them up. So plead their forgiveness and healing as one, and expect that the One who touched the leper and the demoniac can keep your boy and girl in purity, making them vessels of honor fit for the Master’s use. May that golden age dawn in your house, where the world’s evil is overcome by a quiet, joyful goodness, and the Lord of healing dwells with you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for a covering of the blood over your children from head to foot. This is a right and holy prayer, for without shedding of blood there is no remission. But remember that the blood of Christ is not a charm that works while the soul clings to sin. When that blood is sprinkled, not with hyssop, but by the word of the gospel, it cleanses the soul within. If you desire your children to be protected from evil companions and bad influences, then lead them to the altar where Christ’s flesh and blood are offered. There let them eat that spiritual food which makes the soul vigorous and pure. A child who tastes that body and drinks that blood has eternal life working in him. That is the true safeguard, not only from bodily harm, but from the corruption that defiles the heart.

Yet you must not think that prayer alone suffices, as if you could bid God to act while you sleep. Faith without works is dead. Just as I never cease to speak of almsgiving and humanity, though some grow weary of hearing it, so must you tirelessly teach your children by your own example. You pray for their good choices in life, for their schoolwork, their health, their communication. These are good things, but they are earthly. Show them by your deeds what it means to seek the kingdom of God first. Let them see in you a mother who gives, who serves, who does not make a display of piety to win praise, but who quietly follows the Teacher. Then the communication of your faith will become effectual for every good thing in them, as they learn not just by words but by watching your life.

Do not be afraid when you see the world’s dangers surround them. Remember that the women at the tomb, though filled with fear and joy, were met by Christ. He told them, “Be not afraid. Go, tell my brethren.” So you are sent by Christ to bring His message to your little ones. Tell them that He is risen. Tell them that He is with them always. Covering them with the blood of Jesus is not a ritual to perform, but a reality to live. That blood, gushing forth in the soul, mixes with its very substance, leading it to the unapproachable beauty of God. If they abide in Christ and He in them, then no evil can truly harm them, for the one who overcomes the world is he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

Pray continually for them, yes, but also work. If you would have your son guarded from evil companions, then fill his time with service to the saints. If you would have your daughter’s mind and body healed, let her learn to care for the needy, for in giving she will receive a wholeness that no medicine alone can give. Let them grow not merely normal, happy, and healthy as the world reckons these things, but let them be holy. For what does it profit a child to have clear skin and fine dresses, yet a soul stained with sin? Teach them to shudder at evil, not merely to avoid bad influences, but to flee from sin as from a serpent. Then they will know indeed that they can run to Christ for anything, and that He wills only what is best for them.

Therefore, do not let your prayers be anxious words only. Let them be joined to a life of faithful instruction and pure example. So shall the Holy Spirit indeed abide with them from the crown of their heads to the soles of their feet, and they will grow into adults who are a refreshment to many, obedient and full of faith, not because you merely asked, but because you showed them the way.

What a beautiful, honest outpouring of a parent’s heart. Every one of those concerns, from protection and character to school struggles and even skin and clothing, matters to the Lord because your children matter to Him. Prayer at its core is simply sharing your heart with God, just as you did. He welcomes the messy, unfiltered cries just as much as the carefully worded ones. You don’t have to get the words perfect; the Spirit Himself understands your groaning and carries it perfectly before the Father.

Keep bringing every single detail to Him. The covering of Jesus’ blood is no small thing, it is the most powerful shield that exists. When you ask that no evil come near them and that they be kept from bad influences, you are tapping into the reality that the One who dwells in the secret place of the Most High abides under the shadow of the Almighty. That’s where you’re placing your children, and that is a place of genuine safety. Trust that His wings are over them, even when you cannot see what He is doing.

Don’t stop praying. Persistence in prayer is not about wearing God down until He reluctantly gives in; it’s about opening the door for Him to do what He already desires in their lives. Often, He uses the waiting to shape our own hearts, to bring our requests into harmony with His perfect purposes. Think of the way a mother in Scripture cried out for a child for years. When the answer finally came, she understood that the child was a gift she then completely gave back to God, dedicating him to serve the Lord all his days. That kind of prayer changes us. As you continue to ask, you are also learning to trust, to release your children into far better hands than your own. You are saying, “Lord, these children are Yours. Do Your will in them.”

And pray with that kind of surrender. It’s right to long for them to do well in school, to see their struggles ease, and for your daughter to make wise choices in how she presents herself. God cares about those things deeply. But the greatest goal is that they grow into men and women who know Jesus, who hear the Holy Spirit’s leading, and who live out the good and healthy life He designed, not the world’s shallow version of “normal,” but the whole and holy life found in Him. Train them in the way they should go, and as they stumble and learn, have the same patience you’d have with a toddler learning to walk. They will fall, but you keep running to the Lord on their behalf.

Make prayer your first instinct, not your last resort. When you see a new concern crop up, immediately turn it into a prayer. And after praying, take whatever wise precautions and actions you’re able to, knowing that prudence and prayer go hand in hand. The combination is where God’s protection often works itself out in practical ways.

Finally, let your own heart be ministered to as you pray. As you pour out your fears about communication struggles or a learning challenge, the Spirit brings comfort and reassurance. He often reminds us that He loves our children even more than we do, and that His plans for them are for a future and a hope. You can sleep knowing that they are being held by the One who "is always laboring fervently" for them, He never slumbers nor sleeps. Keep trusting, keep asking, and keep praising Him in advance for the work He is doing in their lives.
