We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent request for healing. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who formed our bodies in the womb and knows every part of us intimately. Your Word declares in Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." Lord, we stand on this truth and ask for Your divine intervention in this situation.
We pray for complete healing of the kidneys, that the infection would be eradicated by Your mighty hand. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity in Jesus' name, and we declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing is already provided (Isaiah 53:5). Father, we ask that You would guide the doctors and medical professionals involved, giving them wisdom and clarity as they treat this condition. We pray that You would override any human recommendation that does not align with Your perfect will, and we trust in Your power to restore health.
Lord, we also ask that You would strengthen faith during this time. It is easy to feel fear or doubt when facing medical challenges, but we are reminded in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh." We claim this promise over this situation and ask for peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) to guard the heart and mind.
If there has been any unconfessed sin or area of life not surrendered to You, we pray for conviction and repentance, for Your Word says in James 5:16, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." We ask for cleansing and renewal, that nothing would hinder this healing.
Lastly, we want to emphasize the importance of coming to You in the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). Jesus said in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is only through faith in Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and can boldly approach His throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If there is any doubt about salvation or the power of Jesus' name, we encourage seeking a personal relationship with Him, confessing sins, and accepting Him as Lord and Savior.
We stand together in faith, believing that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20). We declare healing over these kidneys and trust in God’s perfect timing and will. Amen.
