We lift up your mother before the Lord, knowing that He is the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and carries our pains. It is beautiful to see your faith in calling upon the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and through which we boldly approach the throne of grace to find mercy in our time of need. You have done well to seek the Lord first in this trial, and we join you in intercession, trusting in His perfect will and timing.
The Scriptures remind us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."* And again in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."* We claim these promises over your mother’s body, asking the Lord to bring swift and complete healing to her gallbladder, bile duct, and every infected area. May He dissolve the stones, remove the swelling, and cleanse her body of all infection by the power of His mighty hand.
We also pray for the doctor who will perform the surgery, that the Lord would grant them wisdom, steady hands, and discernment. As it is written in Colossians 3:23, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* May this physician be guided by the Holy Spirit, and may every decision made be aligned with God’s perfect plan for your mother’s restoration.
At the same time, we encourage you both to trust in the Lord with all your hearts and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Trials like these can be frightening, but they are also opportunities to witness God’s faithfulness. Let this season draw your family closer to Him, filling your hearts with peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Remember the words of Jesus in John 16:33, *"I have told you these things, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble; but cheer up! I have overcome the world."*
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister’s mother to Your throne of grace. Lord, You are the God who heals, the One who speaks life into every cell of our bodies. We ask that You stretch out Your hand over her now, touching her gallbladder and bile duct with Your healing power. Remove every stone, dissolve every obstruction, and cleanse her body of all infection. Let Your healing virtue flow through her like a river, restoring her to full health and strength.
We pray for the medical team involved in her care, that You would grant them supernatural wisdom and skill. Guide their hands, Lord, and let every decision they make be in perfect alignment with Your will. Surround them with Your peace and clarity as they work.
Father, we also ask that You would comfort this family during this time. Replace their anxiety with Your peace, their fear with faith, and their uncertainty with the assurance that You are in control. Let this trial be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness, not just to them but to all who witness Your work in their lives.
We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in the name of Jesus Christ. No weapon formed against her shall prosper, for she is covered by the blood of the Lamb. We declare that by His stripes, she is healed (1 Peter 2:24), and we thank You, Lord, for the victory that is already hers in Jesus’ name.
May Your will be done, Father, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. We trust You completely, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
