We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear sister who is battling a persistent and resistant C-diff infection. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3). We stand in faith, believing that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we ask that You would guide the hands of the doctors and medical staff treating her. Give them wisdom, discernment, and insight to know exactly how to combat this infection. We rebuke this sickness in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring that it has no place in her body. We command it to leave and never return, for Your word says that the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15).
Father, we also pray for strength and endurance for this sister. Four hospitalizations are wearying, both physically and emotionally. Sustain her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Remind her that You are with her in the midst of this trial, and that Your grace is sufficient for her (2 Corinthians 12:9). Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We also ask that You would protect her from further complications or infections while she is in the hospital. Lord, we know that hospitals can be places of both healing and harm, and we ask that You would shield her from any additional sickness. Surround her with Your angels, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through her body.
Finally, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the name above all names, through which we have access to Your throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). There is no other name by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). We declare that this sister is healed in the name of Jesus, and we thank You for Your faithfulness to Your promises. Amen.
