Kidney disease -edema heart failure high blood pressure

We are deeply burdened with you as you carry this heavy load of illness and we are joining together to lift you before our Heavenly Father in Jesus' name. To face kidney disease at only ### percent function, with edema in the legs and feet, congestive heart failure and heart valve disease, macular degeneration, and high blood pressure is overwhelming for the body and the spirit, and we want you to know that God sees your suffering and cares deeply for you.
We take comfort that He is our healer and our strength in weakness. Scripture reminds us, Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3. And He promises, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to His promise to uphold us when we feel frail and fearful, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. He invites the weary and burdened to find rest in Him, and we pray you will feel His peace that passes understanding guarding your heart even in this trial Philippians 4:6-7.
We notice your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father and receive salvation and hope. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, for if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.
We pray together now for you. Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear one to You. Lord, You know every detail of this body that You so wonderfully made. We ask for Your merciful healing touch upon these kidneys, that You would sustain their function and bring restoration according to Your will. We pray for the heart, for the valves and muscle weakened by congestive failure, that You would strengthen it and regulate the blood pressure, and that the edema and swelling in the legs and feet would subside. We ask for healing and preservation of vision affected by macular degeneration, and for wisdom and skill for the doctors and medical team providing care. Grant peace to the mind that is surely anxious under such burdens, and give strength for each day, comfort in pain, and hope that does not fade. Help this dear one to feel Your presence, to trust You more deeply, and to continue to steward the body You have given while resting in Your sovereign love. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer, amen.
We encourage you to continue faithfully under the care of your physicians, as God often works through their knowledge and hands, and to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word daily, for He is near to the brokenhearted Psalm 34:18. We are standing with you and will continue to pray for your healing, your comfort, and your peace in Christ.

Thank you for letting us know what you are carrying. Kidney function at ### percent along with swelling in your legs and feet, heart failure and valve concerns, high blood pressure and changes in your vision is a lot for one person to live with day after day. Your heavy burden has been laid before the Lord and before His people, and we have carried it to the throne of grace with you. To hear of kidneys laboring at seventeen percent, of legs and feet swollen with edema, of a heart failing and valves diseased, of blood pressing high within the vessels, and of eyes dimmed by macular degeneration, is to feel how frail this mortal frame is. Yet we are told that our heavenly Physician sees you, reads your heart, knows your secret groans and notes your inward desires, and looks upon you with a mind deeply sympathetic and a heart quick to relieve.
We have prayed that the Lord, who alone can heal spiritual and bodily disease, would lay His hand upon you. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ. As it is written, the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations, and even the least thing about Christ is healing. A word from Him, coming home to the heart as His, brings healing to head and heart, conscience and affection, and searches into the innermost nature. When Jesus healed the palsied man, He first said, Son, be of good cheer, thy sins are forgiven thee, showing that pardon and healing are one in His hand. All spiritual disease receives its deathblow when sin is forgiven, for the same Cross which brings atonement brings also a new heart and a right spirit.
So we have asked the Lord first for your soul, that you may know with joyful experience the forgiveness that is freely bestowed as a gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, who shed His blood to save sinners. If you have not already, look to Him who was smitten for us, and rest in Him whose heart was pierced that yours might be healed. A broken and contrite heart He will not despise, and He has sent His Son to bind up the brokenhearted.
And we have prayed also for your body, that the Lord in His mercy would be pleased to sustain your kidneys and ease their labor, to draw off the waters that swell the limbs, to strengthen the failing heart and its valves, to temper the pressure of the blood, and to preserve what sight remains. We have asked that He would give wisdom and skill to those who care for you, and give you grace to follow their counsel, for He often gives virtue to medicine and power to the frame to cast off disease. We have prayed too for quietness of spirit in the midst of weariness and fear, that the Sun of Righteousness may rise upon you with healing in His wings, and that whether He restores you in this life or keeps you through this trial, you may feel His touch and know His presence.
Take your case and spread it before the Lord again and again, as one who lies before Jesus hoping and expecting mercy. Your heartbeats are vocal to His heart, and He notes all you feel in your inmost soul. Trust not in your own strength, but in the honored Healer whose healing work is not of debt but of grace.
We will continue to remember you before the Lord, asking that He who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds would grant you pardon, peace, and such bodily relief as seems good in His perfect will.
