Today's Encouraging Word
Kick Back And Relax
Jethro said to Moses, "You and these people who come to you will only wear yourselves out. The work is too heavy for you; you cannot handle it alone." (Exodus 18:18)
Many of us are so busy that we have lost the ability to relax. With today’s hectic schedule, we may lose sight of our purpose. There are many times when we are so busy that we do not have time to sit down and reflect on what God is asking of us.
Even God took a day off after creation! Shouldn't we also take time for rest? God wants us to relax so that we don't become exhausted. Learning to spend time with those we love and to quietly communicate with God is part of our discipleship. These times restore our strength and renew our vision.
Trust In Him
God doesn’t intend for us to work all the time!

Lord, help me to relax, to take time to be with my family, and to spend time in prayer with you. In Jesus name – Amen!
