Beloved of All
🙏 Father in Heaven -- Thank You for Your light 💡and truth 📖 let them lead us completely through life's journey (as we walk in the light hand in hand in RELATIONSHIP) unto the ultimate goal Your Holy Hill, Ps 43:3. Thank You for drawing us to Jesus, Jn 6:44, allowing us to understand and believe in Christ, Matt 11:25, Matt 16:17, John 6:29, 1 Cor 1:30, Eph 2:8-9, Phil 1:29. Thank You for faith in the blood of Jesus Christ Your Son, Rom 3:25, which cleanses us from all sin, 1 Jn 1:7! Thank You for the power of the stripes that wounded Jesus that heal us and make us whole, Isa 53:5, Matt 8:17, 1 Pet 2:24! And thank You for raising Jesus from the dead, defeating death, and sending The Holy Spirit, the Counselor, Advocate, Helper, Intercessor and Giver of Life, John 6:63.

We specifically ask for protection from deception and lies, Matt 24:4-8, John 8:44, Rev 12:9, from greed, Lk 12:15, Heb 13:5 and may You perform it by granting contentment, 1 Tim 6:6-9, Phil 4:11-13. Let Your Bride walk in the light, 1 Jn 1:7, help us make ourselves ready, Rev 19:7-10. It seems only You can do this for You who begin a good work ultimately bring it to completion, Phil 1:6, You perfect that which concerns us, Ps 138:8, perhaps we do not have because we do not ask, James 4:2? May it not be said on that day that we did not ask for the holiness without which no one will see You, Lord, Heb 12:14. Jesus clearly taught, "Blessed are the pure in heart , for THEY shall see God, Matt 5:8, when we come out of their midst and are separate, 2 Cor 6:17-18, perfect holiness in the fear of The Lord, 2 Cor 7:1, You are ready to punish all disobedience once our obedience is complete, 2 Cor 10:6.

Protect us all from sin, Zeph 3:13, Ps 119:11, Rev 14:5, let us not enter into temptation, Mk 14:38, Lk 11:4, keep us from the evil one, John 17:15, and keep us on Your path of increasing clarity, Prov 4:18, Col 1:9, Col 4:12, Phil 1:9-11. Keep us especially from false believers, 2 Cor 11:26, 2 Tim 3:5, Tit 1:16, deceivers, 2 Tim 3:13, 2 Jn 1:7, deception, 2 Thes 2:9-10, 1 John 5:19, by washing us with Christ's water of the water of the Word, Eph 5:26, The Word of Truth, Eph 1:13, 2 Cor 6:7. Sanctify us in Your Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17, James 1:18, 2 Tim 3:16, especially when rightly divided, 2 Tim 2:15, with careful attention to our lives and teaching, 1 Tim 4:16.

Protect us from the dragon's false doctrine and persecution spewing across the world, Rev 12:15. Help restrain these evils, 2 Thes 2:7, and use godly government to restrain and punish evil, 1 Tim 2:1-4; Rev 12:16, Rom 13:1-7. We pray for grace to stay on the alert, Mk 13:33, for strength to escape all that's coming and stand before The Son of Man, Luke 21:36.

We ask antichrist be revealed, slain and annihilated, 2 Thes 2:8, that the saints are guarded from buying into his system, Rev 13:6, and that he, the false prophet and devil be fully and finally sentenced forever, Rev 20:10. May we fear you, Ecclesiastes 12:13, Rev 14:6-7, and knowing the fear of The Lord persuade people to prepare for The Judgement Seat of Christ, 2 Cor 5:10-11. Help us be wise and win souls, Prov 11:30, lead many to righteousness, Dan 12:3, instruct many, Mal 2:5-6, Matt 28:20.

With thanksgiving we offer these requests for ourselves, our family, friends, church-mates, pastors and online praying believer-friends, Heb 10:25, so we have fellowship, 1 Jn 1:2-3, test the spirits, 1 Jn 4:1, walk in light, 1 Jn 1:5-10, that our whole body may be full of light with no dark part in it, Luke 11:36, without hidden sin or deception, 2 Cor 4:2, like the message John heard from You, Jesus, and preached to us, about You being light and in You is no darkness at all, 1 Jn 1:4-10, and may the peace of God guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:6-7, Amen, Rev 3:14, 2 Cor 1:20. 🙌

We join with you in this urgent and scriptural cry to be kept from deception, and we say amen to your desire to be guarded by every means God has provided.

You have asked so well whether God guards us by the Word, by prayer, by preaching, by teaching, by church attendance, by fellowship and by praise, and the answer in Scripture is yes to all of these, for God uses each of these graces together to keep His people in the truth. We are sanctified through the truth and Your Word is truth, John 17:17, and all Scripture is God breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for instruction in righteousness, 2 Tim 3:16, when it is rightly divided, 2 Tim 2:15. We are kept by hiding Your Word in our hearts that we might not sin against You, Ps 119:11, and by being washed with the washing of water with the Word, Eph 5:26. We are kept as we continue steadfastly in prayer and watch therein with thanksgiving, Col 4:2, and as we pray that we may not enter into temptation, Mark 14:38, and as we pray as Jesus taught us to pray deliver us from the evil one, Matt 6:13. We are kept as the Word is faithfully preached, for faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of Christ, Rom 10:17, and as we give attention to our life and doctrine and persevere, 1 Tim 4:16. We are kept as we do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, Heb 10:25, for in fellowship we have partnership with one another and with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ, 1 John 1:3, and we are able to test the spirits whether they are of God, 1 John 4:1, and to walk in the light as He is in the light, 1 John 1:7. And we are kept as we offer praise, for God is enthroned on the praises of His people and praise keeps our hearts fixed on His light and truth.

We rejoice that you have anchored this prayer so fully in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only through His blood that we have redemption. Your thanksgiving reflects the gospel so clearly, that God drew us to Jesus, John 6:44, that flesh and blood did not reveal Him to us but our Father in heaven, Matt 16:17, that we are in Christ Jesus who became for us wisdom from God and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, 1 Cor 1:30, and that it is by grace we have been saved through faith and that not of ourselves it is the gift of God, Eph 2:8. We thank God with you that He set forth Jesus as a propitiation through faith in His blood, Rom 3:25, and that the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin, 1 John 1:7, and that by His wounds we have been healed, 1 Pet 2:24, and that God raised Him from the dead and gave us the Spirit who gives life, John 6:63.

We agree that the danger is real. Jesus warned us to be careful that no one leads us astray, Matt 24:4, for the coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost because they did not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved, 2 Thes 2:9-10. The whole world lies in the power of the evil one, 1 John 5:19, and the serpent who deceives the whole world seeks to devour, Rev 12:9. For this reason we must be sober and watchful, and you are right to ask for contentment to guard against greed, for godliness with contentment is great gain, 1 Tim 6:6, and to ask for holiness without which no one will see the Lord, Heb 12:14, for blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God, Matt 5:8.

We pray together now for you and for all you have lifted up, for your family, friends, fellow church members, pastors and praying friends.

Father in Heaven, we thank You for Your light and truth, oh send out Your light and Your truth let them lead us, Ps 43:3, and lead us along the path of the righteous which is as the dawning light that shines more and more until the perfect day, Prov 4:18. We thank You for beginning a good work in us and we trust You to perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ, Phil 1:6, for You will perfect that which concerns us, Ps 138:8. We ask that You would keep us from deception, from the deceitfulness of sin, from false brothers, 2 Cor 11:26, from those having a form of godliness but denying its power, 2 Tim 3:5, and from deceivers who do not confess that Jesus Christ came in the flesh, 2 John 1:7. Sanctify us in Your truth, wash us in the Word, keep us from the evil one as Jesus prayed, John 17:15, and do not lead us into temptation, Luke 11:4. Restrain the mystery of lawlessness even now, 2 Thes 2:7, and use governing authorities as Your servants to restrain evil, Rom 13:4, and give us grace to watch and stay alert, Mark 13:33, and to be counted worthy to stand before the Son of Man, Luke 21:36. Make Your Bride ready, clothed in fine linen bright and pure which is the righteous acts of the saints, Rev 19:8, walking in the light with fellowship and with no hidden deception, 2 Cor 4:2, that our whole body may be full of light with no dark part, Luke 11:36. Teach us to fear You and keep Your commandments, Eccl 12:13, and knowing the fear of the Lord to persuade others, 2 Cor 5:11, to be wise and win souls, Prov 11:30, and to lead many to righteousness, Dan 12:3.

We ask this not because we have not asked before but because You invite us to ask and to keep asking, for you do not have because you do not ask, James 4:2, and we now ask with thanksgiving that Your peace which surpasses all understanding will guard our hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus, Phil 4:7. We ask that the lawless one will be revealed and that the Lord Jesus will slay him with the breath of His mouth and bring him to nothing by the brightness of His coming, 2 Thes 2:8, and that the devil who deceived them will be thrown finally into the lake of fire, Rev 20:10. Let Your Word dwell richly in us, let our prayers be fervent, let our preaching be faithful, let our attendance and fellowship be steadfast, and let our praise be continual, that we may be kept from falling and presented blameless. In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, amen.

We were so encouraged reading your prayer. Your hunger to stay in the light and walk closely with Jesus, and to bring your family, friends and church family with you, really comes through. We hear how much you want to be kept from anything false and to live in a way that honors God.

We love that you named so many ordinary means God uses to keep us grounded, staying in the Word, praying, listening to faithful preaching and teaching, gathering with other believers, and worshiping together. Deception so often grows when we are isolated or hurried, and staying connected in those steady rhythms with others who love Jesus helps us notice when something does not sound like Him. It also takes humility to keep testing what we hear and to invite trusted pastors or mature believers to speak into what we are learning.

One simple step that may help is to keep walking these things out together, not alone. Keep meeting regularly with your local church, bring questions openly there, and keep praying together for wisdom and a pure heart. God delights to shape us as we stay close to Him and to one another over time.

Father, thank You for drawing us to Jesus and for Your light and truth. Keep us close to You, guard our hearts and minds in Christ, and make us ready to follow You faithfully. Lead us and those we love in Your way, and give us grace to walk in love and truth each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your longing to be kept from deception and to walk in the light is a prayer that God Himself delights to answer, for He has promised that all His children shall be taught of the Lord and great shall be the peace of their children. He draws men by teaching them, and that teaching is Divine teaching, not the wisdom of man. There is nothing that can take the place of the simplicity of Divine Truth, so cling to the old fashioned Gospel and never turn away from it.

You do well to ask to be guarded by the Word, by prayer, by preaching and by the fellowship of the saints, for our greatest cause of fear is not from adversaries outside but from crafty wolves in sheep's clothing that devour the flock, and from false professors within the camp. The direst calamity the Church can dread is from false brethren and traitors within, and from deceivers who utter words which are utterly false. Take heed that you build on nothing else but Christ, for if you do your house will tumble about your ears when most you need its protection. The Word of Truth, rightly divided and laid before you as a model to work to, is that which sanctifies, for Your Word is Truth and when Grace brings that Word home to the heart all that is false will be banished.

That second Adam is the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God and the Son of Mary, the Lord from Heaven. He has kept the Law of God in every jot and tittle and has woven a righteousness which covers the sinner from head to foot when he is enabled to put it on. Have you always spoken the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, has your heart always gone with your tongue, have there been no false words. Mere desires have not scraped the filth from us nor patched our rags. We are still filthy and far off until Grace brings us to Himself. Fresh from the pigsty the prodigal was clasped to a father's bosom, and so the sinner with all his faults and hardness of heart is welcomed when he comes to Christ alone for salvation. There is no other name by which we are cleansed by His blood and healed by His stripes.

To walk in the light as He is in the light is to have fellowship with Him in whom is no darkness at all, and therefore to forsake every hidden sin and every form of deception. The light makes manifest what is of darkness, and we cannot walk hand in hand with darkness while claiming to walk in light. For this reason we cannot ask God to bless a relationship or a manner of living that His Word calls sin. His way is holiness without which no one will see the Lord, and His gift of love between a man and a woman belongs within the lifelong covenant of marriage of one man and one woman. Sex and living together belong only within that covenant. Outside of it we are called to chastity, to come out from among them and be separate, to perfect holiness in the fear of the Lord, and to keep ourselves from the evil one. This is not a harsh word but a gracious warning, for He will not permanently turn away from His people when they turn from sin, and though He may hide His face for a little while it is with a gracious motive to bring them back to purity.

So we will pray for you as you have asked, not that God would bless what is contrary to His Word, but that He would bless you with light and truth to lead you, with contentment in place of greed, with a love for the Word washed over you as by water, with careful attention to life and doctrine, with a place in a faithful church where you may test the spirits and be kept in appointed ways. This protection is personal and perpetual to those who abide in Christ, and He who began a good work will bring it to completion and perfect that which concerns you.

We pray that the Father who drew you to Jesus would keep you by His power, that you would be sanctified in His Truth, kept from temptation, kept from false doctrine and from the dragon's flood of lies, strengthened to watch and to stand before the Son of Man, and made ready as a Bride who has made herself ready in pure linen. May the peace of God guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and may you be found building only on Christ, washed in His blood, clothed in His righteousness, and walking in that path of increasing clarity which shines more and more unto the perfect day.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
