Keep Away Evil Men & Imposters 2Tim 3:13 Convict Jn16:8 Hedge w/Thorns Ho 2:6, Church, Family Intervenes, Clarity, Inner Healing, Isa1:6, Jer 4:19

Nochaeld

Beloved
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13 -- let her take down her online profile -- for evil men and imposters (proceed from bad to worse, 2 Tim 3:13...

I have been trying to warn her family and church to get her pastor involved -- but he is family too and suffers greatly from fear of man, Matt 10:28, and compromise as well, Gal 5:9...

I'm asking for prayers for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Hos 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and finally confessed adultery Ex 20:14, until finalization, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she is delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters & the evil one himself...

Pray repentance -- if not she will become pregnant again b/c of this. Please pray for her & at least her one sister to not fear man but suffer for righteousness "outside the camp, bearing his reproach, as Christ suffered outside the the city gate, Heb 12:12-13...

Lastly I need wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Thank You in Jesus Name

We hear your deep concern and the urgency in your heart as you seek God’s intervention in this situation. The scriptures you’ve referenced reveal a battle not just for a soul, but for a family, a church, and the very integrity of God’s design for marriage and purity. We stand with you in fervent prayer, lifting this woman and her loved ones before the throne of grace, where mercy and truth meet.

First, we must address the gravity of what has been confessed: adultery. The Lord is clear in His Word that marriage is a sacred covenant, and sexual immorality—whether fornication or adultery—is a grievous sin that defiles not only the body but the spirit (1 Corinthians 6:18-20). The fact that this woman has engaged in such behavior while still legally bound to another is a violation of God’s commandment (Exodus 20:14) and a distortion of His holy institution. We do not say this to condemn, for there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1), but to call her—and all who are involved—to repentance. The path she is on leads only to destruction, as Proverbs 6:32 warns, *"He who commits adultery with a woman is void of understanding. He who does it destroys his own soul."* The physical and spiritual consequences you fear—such as another pregnancy outside of marriage—are real, and we must cry out to God to intervene before further harm is done.

We also lift up the matter of her online dating profile. The Lord’s Word warns us about the dangers of even looking at another with lust, for Jesus said, *"But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart"* (Matthew 5:28). An online dating profile in the midst of unresolved marital ties is a snare of the enemy, a tool to entice and deceive. We pray that God would shut every door to temptation, that He would hedge her in with thorns as Hosea 2:6-7 describes, so that she cannot find her former lovers or be found by them. May the Holy Spirit convict her heart with godly sorrow that leads to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10), and may she turn away from every path that leads to sin.

The fear of man is a great stumbling block in this situation, as you’ve rightly identified. The pastor’s hesitation to intervene due to familial ties and fear of man (Matthew 10:28) is a failure of spiritual leadership. The church is called to be a pillar of truth, not a place of compromise (1 Timothy 3:15). We pray that the fear of the Lord would outweigh the fear of man in every heart involved—that her family, her sister, and her church leaders would rise up with courage to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). May they be willing to suffer for righteousness’ sake, as Hebrews 13:12-13 exhorts, bearing Christ’s reproach outside the camp if necessary. The enemy thrives in secrecy and silence, but light exposes darkness (Ephesians 5:11-13). We pray for boldness to confront sin with wisdom and grace, not shrinking back but standing firm in the truth.

We also recognize the spiritual warfare at play here. The scriptures you’ve cited—2 Timothy 3:13, John 16:8, Zephaniah 3:13—remind us that evil men and imposters do not operate alone. The father of lies (John 8:44) is at work, blinding minds and hardening hearts. We must pray for the hedge of thorns not only around her but around her entire family, her church, and all who are connected to this situation. May the Lord rebuke the devourer (Malachi 3:11) and break every assignment of the enemy over her life. We plead the blood of Jesus over her mind, her heart, and her body, that she would be delivered from every temptation and snare (Luke 11:4).

For your own heart, we pray for wisdom, clarity, and inner healing. It is not easy to stand in the gap for someone who may not yet see the danger they are in. The burden you carry is heavy, but the Lord sees your faithfulness and will sustain you. Isaiah 1:6 speaks of wounds that need the balm of Gilead, and Jeremiah 4:19 describes a heart that cries out in distress. We pray that the Lord would bind up your wounds, that He would give you His peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7), and that He would fill you with His wisdom as you navigate this situation. You are not alone in this fight. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters (Psalm 23:2-3). Lean on Him, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30).

Let us now lift this situation to the Lord in prayer:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, knowing that You alone can bring healing, repentance, and restoration. We lift up this woman to You, Lord, and ask that You would hedge her in with thorns so that she cannot walk in the paths of sin. Convict her heart by Your Holy Spirit, that she may turn away from every form of adultery and sexual immorality. Break the chains of deception and lust that bind her, and set her free by the power of Your truth. We pray that her online dating profile would be removed, that every door to temptation would be shut, and that she would no longer be ensnared by the lies of the enemy.

Father, we pray for her family and her church. Give them courage to stand for righteousness, to speak the truth in love, and to intervene with wisdom and grace. Remove the fear of man from their hearts and replace it with a holy fear of You. Raise up leaders who will shepherd Your flock with integrity, not compromising Your Word for the sake of peace. May her sister and all who are involved be strengthened to suffer for righteousness’ sake, bearing Christ’s reproach if necessary.

Lord, we plead the blood of Jesus over this situation. Rebuke the evil one and every imposter who seeks to lead her astray. Break every assignment of the enemy, and let Your light expose every hidden thing. Deliver her from temptation, and lead her in the paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake.

For our brother who has brought this request, we ask that You would grant him wisdom, clarity, and inner healing. Bind up his wounds, Lord, and fill him with Your peace. Give him the strength to stand firm in the truth and the grace to extend mercy even as he upholds Your standards. May he find rest in You, knowing that You are his shepherd and his defender.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved and the only name by which we have access to You. Thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. Amen.

We are deeply grateful for the privilege to stand with you in prayer during this challenging time. Your heart for this situation and the scriptural foundation you’ve laid in your request has stirred us to intercede fervently on behalf of your loved one, her family, and the church. We have lifted up the hedge of thorns around her, asking the Lord to block every path that leads to temptation, deception, and further sin, just as Hosea 2:6-7 describes. We have prayed for conviction to fall upon her heart through the Holy Spirit, as John 16:8 promises, and for the scales to be removed from her eyes so she may see the truth and turn from the snares of evil men and imposters, who only grow worse with time (2 Timothy 3:13).

We have also asked the Lord to stir courage in the hearts of her family, her sister, and her pastor, that they may rise above the fear of man (Matthew 10:28) and act with boldness and wisdom, even if it means suffering reproach for righteousness’ sake (Hebrews 13:12-13). We’ve prayed for their protection from compromise (Galatians 5:9) and for divine intervention to break any chains of enablement or denial that may be hindering God’s work in this situation. May the Lord grant them the strength to stand firm, speak truth in love, and take the necessary steps to guide her toward repentance and restoration.

For you, we have asked the Lord to grant you wisdom, clarity, and inner healing as you navigate this painful season. May He bind up your wounds (Isaiah 1:6), quiet your anxious heart (Jeremiah 4:19), and lead you beside still waters to restore your soul (Psalm 23:3). You are carrying a heavy burden, and we have prayed that the Lord would sustain you, give you discernment, and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding.

If the Lord has moved in this situation since you posted your request—if there has been repentance, intervention, or even a small step toward truth—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report. Please share it with us so we may rejoice together in God’s faithfulness. If, however, the battle continues and you feel the need for renewed prayer support, we encourage you to post this request again. We are committed to standing with you in this fight, lifting up every concern to our Heavenly Father until His will is done.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you continue to seek Him, trust in His promises, and walk in obedience to His Word. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer.
