Keep Away Evil Men & Imposters 2Tim 3:13 Convict Jn16:8 Hedge w/Thorns Ho 2:6, Church, Family Intervenes, Clarity, Inner Healing, Isa1:6, Jer 4:19

Beloved Warrior
Father, Jesus quoted Moses, You shall not put the Lord Your God to the test, Matt 4:7, Ex 17:2, Deut 6:16, also Ps 78:18, Ps 95:8-9; and the Apostle, 1 Cor 10:9. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Matt 6:13 -- let her take down her online profile -- for evil men and imposters (proceed from bad to worse), 2 Tim 3:13...

I have been trying to warn her family and church to get her pastor involved -- but he is family too and suffers greatly from fear of man, Matt 10:28, and compromise as well, Gal 5:9...

I'm asking for prayers for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Hos 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and finally confessed adultery Ex 20:14, until finalization, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she is delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters & the evil one himself...

Pray repentance -- That she will NOT become pregnant again b/c of this. Please pray for her & at least her one sister to not fear man but suffer for righteousness "outside the camp, bearing his reproach, as Christ suffered outside the the city gate," Heb 12:12-13...

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin and evil for me, them and all of us, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We stand with you in deep concern and fervent prayer for this precious soul and her family, lifting all of this before the throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. The situation you describe is heartbreaking, and we grieve over the sin, deception, and spiritual danger that has taken root. But we do not grieve without hope, for our God is a God of redemption, conviction, and deliverance.

First, we must address the grave sin of adultery that has been confessed. Scripture is clear: "You shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14 WEB). This is not merely a mistake or a lapse in judgment, it is a violation of God’s holy covenant and a grievous wound to the heart of the Lord. The fact that this has continued, even after confession, reveals a hardened heart that must be broken by the Holy Spirit. We rebuke the spirit of deception and rebellion that has blinded her to the severity of her actions. The Word declares, "But the wicked are like the troubled sea; for it can’t rest, and its waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace,” says my God, “for the wicked” (Isaiah 57:20-21 WEB). There can be no true peace or healing until there is genuine repentance, a turning away from sin and a turning back to God with a contrite heart.

The online dating profile must come down immediately. Jesus warned, "But I tell you that everyone who gazes at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:28 WEB). This is not merely about avoiding physical sin, it is about guarding the heart from all forms of temptation and idolatry. The internet has become a snare for many, a place where evil men and imposters prowl, seeking to devour (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). We declare a hedge of thorns around her, as Hosea 2:6-7 describes: "Therefore behold, I will hedge up your way with thorns, and I will build a wall against her, that she can’t find her paths. She will follow after her lovers, but she won’t overtake them; and she will seek them, but won’t find them. Then she will say, ‘I will go and return to my first husband; for then was it better with me than now.’" Lord, let this hedge be so thick and so high that she cannot escape Your conviction or Your love. Let her be hemmed in by Your truth until she surrenders fully to You.

We also lift up her family and church leadership, who have been slow to intervene due to fear of man and compromise. The Word warns, "The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever puts his trust in the Lord is kept safe" (Proverbs 29:25 WEB). It is time for the body of Christ to rise up in love and boldness, not shrinking back but speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15 WEB). The pastor must be confronted, not with accusation, but with a call to repentance and a plea to fulfill his God-given role as a shepherd. "Take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, in which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood" (Acts 20:28 WEB). If he continues in fear and compromise, he becomes complicit in the destruction of this soul. We pray for courage for her sister and others to stand firm, even if it means suffering reproach for righteousness’ sake (Hebrews 13:13 WEB).

The danger of another pregnancy outside of marriage is a very real and sobering concern. Scripture is clear that children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3 WEB), but when conceived in sin, they often bear the consequences of that brokenness. We cry out for the Lord to intervene supernaturally, to close any door that would lead to further bondage. "Deliver us from the evil one" (Matthew 6:13 WEB), and let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). We also pray for the child already born into this situation, may the Lord protect their heart, mind, and future, and may they come to know Jesus as their Savior in spite of the circumstances.

For inner healing, we declare the promise of Isaiah 1:6: "From the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it: wounds, welts, and open sores. They haven’t been closed, neither bandaged, neither soothed with oil." But the Lord is the Great Physician, and He longs to bind up the brokenhearted (Isaiah 61:1 WEB). We pray for deep repentance to lead to deep healing, that the lies she has believed, about love, about God, about herself, would be shattered by the truth of Scripture. "You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free" (John 8:32 WEB). Let the Holy Spirit bring conviction, not condemnation (John 16:8 WEB), and let her run to the cross, where forgiveness and restoration are found.

For you, dear one, who have been burdened with this weight, we pray for wisdom, clarity, and strength. The enemy would love to wear you down with discouragement, fear, or even temptation of your own. But the Lord says, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9 WEB). We encourage you to fast and pray, as Isaiah 58:6-12 describes, for true fasting breaks the chains of injustice and sets the oppressed free. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9 WEB). Guard your own heart, lest you become bitter or judgmental. Instead, let love and truth compel you to intercede and act as the Lord leads.

Finally, we must address the seriousness of testing the Lord. You referenced Matthew 4:7, where Jesus rebuked Satan, saying, "You shall not test the Lord your God." This is a warning against presumption, demanding that God act in a certain way or proving Himself to us. But this situation is not about testing God; it is about pleading with Him to move in power and mercy. We are not putting God to the test when we cry out for deliverance, conviction, and healing. We are standing on His promises and His character. "The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth" (Psalm 145:18 WEB). So we come boldly to the throne of grace, not with arrogance, but with humility and faith.

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, but also with unwavering faith in Your power to save. We lift up this dear sister, bound by sin and deception, and we ask that You would break every chain. Lord, we declare a hedge of thorns around her, let no evil man, no imposter, no temptation, and no lie penetrate that hedge. Convict her heart with the Holy Spirit’s power, that she may see the depth of her sin and the height of Your love. Bring her to repentance, not just in word, but in deed. Close every door that leads to further destruction, and open her eyes to the path of righteousness.

Father, we pray for her family and church. Break the spirit of fear and compromise that has kept them silent. Raise up bold voices to speak truth in love, to intervene with wisdom and grace. Give her pastor the courage to shepherd as You have called him, to confront sin with love, and to lead with integrity. Let the body of Christ rise up as one, bearing one another’s burdens and restoring this sister in a spirit of gentleness (Galatians 6:1 WEB).

Lord, we ask for inner healing, for the wounds of her heart to be bound up, for the lies she has believed to be replaced with Your truth. Heal her mind, her emotions, and her spirit. Let her find her identity in You alone, not in the approval of men or the fleeting pleasures of sin. Restore her to fellowship with You and with Your people.

For the one praying, Father, grant wisdom, clarity, and strength. Protect them from discouragement, from temptation, and from the schemes of the enemy. Let their prayers be like incense before You, and their fasting a sweet aroma. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may persevere in intercession and action.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). We declare that no weapon formed against this sister will prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB). Let Your kingdom come, and Your will be done, in her life, in her family, and in her church. We trust You, Lord, for You are faithful, and You will complete the work You have begun (Philippians 1:6 WEB).

In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We hear the weight you've been carrying. When someone we love keeps walking a path that will wound them, and the people who should step in seem frozen by fear of conflict or man's opinion, it can feel like you're the only one sounding an alarm. That's exhausting and lonely.

What we notice in your words is how much you genuinely care for her safety and her soul. You're not angry or vindictive, you're terrified about what's coming next and grieved that others won't act. That kind of love costs something, and we don't want you to carry it alone.

Since you cannot control what she does or whether her family intervenes, one concrete thing you can do is intentionally hand this over in prayer each day with a physical gesture that reminds you you've released it, maybe writing her name on paper and setting it in an open Bible or simply opening your hands before you pray. The point is to practice handing the weight back to God so it doesn't crush you. You did not create her choices, and you cannot be the only one fighting this battle. Keep warning where a door opens, but then step back enough to breathe.

We also hear you asking for your own clarity and inner healing. That matters. When you've been in a long, draining intercession, your own heart needs tending too. Let trusted people pray for you, not just with you. Let someone carry you for a bit.

Lord, we lift up this woman, You see exactly where she is and what waits for her. Block the paths that lead to harm. Give her a true turning, not just regret. Bring people with courage around her who will speak truth with love. And for this dear one who is pouring himself out for her, grant rest, clarity, healing in the deep places, and a renewed sense that this is in Your hands, not only his. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The heart is a den of evil, and from it proceed adulteries and every foul thing. Your anguish over this woman's sin is right, but beware lest your own spirit become a thorny ground of self-righteousness. The same corrupt nature that drives her to online folly and broken vows lurks within every child of Adam, and only the Holy Spirit can convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. Pray, then, that the Comforter would not merely embarrass her before men but bring her to true repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Without that inward work, no hedge of thorns, no human intervention, will keep her from pursuing her lovers. Hosea's hedge was God's own doing, a sovereign act to shut up the wayward soul until she cried, "I will go and return to my first husband." That is the prayer, not merely that she be stopped, but that she be saved.

Yet remember, thorns and thistles grow for us all. The pastor who fears man and the family that compromises are themselves caught in the thicket of worldly prudence, imagining they sit beyond the reach of divine judgments. But no one is beyond the sound of God's detectives. The Lord can come at the proud through a hundred doors, and when He eases Himself of His adversaries, the high and the timid alike shall feel the scorching heat of His displeasure. Do not trust in your own wisdom to untangle this knot; cast the whole burden upon the Lord. The Psalmist's complaint almost became a noise of rebellion, but here is the gospel remedy: "Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and He shall sustain thee." You are not commanded to manage her sin or their cowardice; you are commanded to believe, to repent afresh of your own anxiety, and to leave the matter with Him who wears the crown of thorns for sinners such as she, and such as you.

See how the blessed Savior stooped to wear that cruel chaplet! Every thorn was a grief He bore, and He has thus entered into the full fellowship of human woe. Let that sight melt your heart as you plead for this wandering one. Commend her to the Great High Priest who is touched with the feeling of her infirmities. Urge upon her the command of the gospel, repent and believe, for it is not an option but a divine mandate, and woe to those who neglect so great salvation. And for those who should be watchmen but slumber, pray that the fear of the Lord would break their fear of man, so that they would rather suffer outside the camp bearing Christ's reproach than enjoy the passing peace of compromise. The lily among thorns is Christ's love, and He knows how to preserve His own even in the foulest thicket. Trust His arm, rest in His love, and let your prayers rise as incense, leaving the outcome to Him.

Father, please meet deepest spiritual, physical, emotional, financial needs according to Your Will and timing in Jesus Name Amen

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You speak of thorns, and rightly so, for the Scripture is full of that fearful image. But let us be careful, lest while we pray for a hedge of thorns to surround another, we fail to root out the thorns springing up in our own soil. The Lord does indeed sing of His vineyard: He dug it, fenced it, planted the choicest vine, and yet it brought forth thorns. And what did He say? “I will take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be for a prey; I will break down the wall thereof, and it shall be trodden down.” This is spoken of every soul that, after receiving such care, yields thorns instead of grapes. The thorns are the cares of this life and the deceitfulness of riches, which choke the word. You pray that she be hedged in with thorns, that her way be blocked. That is a severe mercy, the very thing God does when the sweet grapes of repentance are not produced by gentler means. But know this: the hedge of which the prophet speaks is God’s protecting hand. When He removes it, the boar out of the wood, the devil and all his ferocious host, comes to ravage. It is a terrible thing to be given over to one’s own ways, to have the wall broken down so that every passing evil may pluck at the soul. Pray indeed that she be stopped, but pray also that this stopping become to her the beginning of a true return, not a hardening. For the devil has nothing in Christ, but where sin has made a breach, he rushes in like a roaring lion.

You mention evil men and impostors, and the need to keep them away. The apostle warned that evil men shall wax worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived. Yet hear this also: many who cry “Impostor!” use it as a cloak for their own inhumanity. Do not let the soul become so sharp against the deceits of others that it forgets its own need for mercy. It is easier to denounce the sins of the flesh than to cure the coldness of the heart. For what is more common than to say, “All are impostors,” and thereby to find an excuse for doing nothing? But love is not bare words; it takes care of the fallen, it weeps with them that weep, and it dares to stand by them in danger. You say the pastor fears man and compromises. That is a heavy charge, and often true. Yet remember that the bond of the Church once was so strong that to be severed from it was worse than any temporal punishment. Now, through the great coldness of love, we withdraw from one another causelessly, and think it no great evil. If love were warm, the fear of man would melt away. Pray, then, not only against sin, but for the kindling of that charity which is the mother of good deeds. The genuine love of Christ makes a man bold as a lion; it does not shrink from bearing reproach outside the camp.

Take care that your own zeal does not become a thorn. There is a disease of the soul that mourns when a brother falls, yet cannot rejoice when a brother is restored. That is the tyranny of a grudging spirit, and it fights not against flesh and blood, but against the will of God. Do not let your prayers be mixed with such bitterness that you would rather see her hedged and punished than truly healed and joyous in the household of faith. We are bidden to weep with those who weep, and that you do; but learn also to prepare your heart to rejoice if God should grant repentance. For the fire of the Spirit is given us to consume the thorns within ourselves first, the wild beasts of passion, the snakes of envy, the scorpions of secret pride that hide in the deceitfulness of our own hearts.

As for inner healing and clarity, the prophet’s cry, “My bowels, my bowels! I am pained at my very heart,” is the groan of a soul that sees the wounds and feels them as its own. If you would have her wounds bound up and her soul restored, let your own life become a guest-chamber for Christ in the person of the needy, the stranger, the broken. Almsgiving and mercy are a light-giving, evergreen tree that no death can wither. When you feed the sinews of your own soul with such works, you will find strength to fast, to pray without fainting, and to stand in the gap for this woman not as a harsh accuser but as one who has been forgiven much.

Let the prayer be this: that God, who does not willingly afflict, may hedge up her way with thorns so sharp that she remembers from whence she has fallen and returns before the wall is utterly broken down. Let the church intervene, not with the spirit of fear, but with the meekness of those who consider themselves lest they also be tempted. If the pastor is timid, then let the sister who is stronger speak the truth in love, risking reproach for Christ’s sake. Better to suffer outside the camp with Him than to enjoy the fleeting peace of compromise. And for yourself, seek that inner healing which comes from the oil of gladness poured into wounds by the Holy Spirit. The world’s mirth is a thorn; the Spirit’s consolation is a balm.

Watch therefore, and pray that you enter not into temptation, you, and she, and all who labor under this dark weight. The ruler of this world has nothing in those who abide in Christ, but if we let go His hand, we become a bowing wall, easy for all to surmount. Hold fast, and let the fire of charity burn up every root of bitterness, that when the Lord looks upon His vineyard once more, He may find not thorns, but grapes.
