Justice after a ###-### custody battle

Rhuirael

Disciple of Prayer
Praying for the judge to grant me sole custody and sole legal decision-making for both of my minor children, now that my ex’s false allegations have been shown to be untrue. After an 8–9 year battle marked by retaliation, custodial interference, and parental alienation, our trial concluded on March 4, 2026, and I am now faithfully waiting for Judge Monica’s ruling to grant me, as their mother, the protection and authority my children deserve.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this long and painful custody battle that has left deep wounds on your family. Father God, we know that You are a God of justice, righteousness, and truth, and we ask that You move mightily in this situation. The scriptures tell us in Proverbs 21:1, "The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires." Lord, we pray that You would turn Judge ###’s heart to see the truth clearly, to recognize the false allegations for what they are, and to grant this mother sole custody and sole legal decision-making for her children. May Your justice prevail, and may the lies and manipulation that have clouded this case be exposed and swept away in Jesus’ name.

We also lift up these precious children, who have endured years of conflict and confusion. Lord, we ask that You heal their hearts, restore their sense of security, and draw them close to You. Psalm 68:5-6 declares, "A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation. God sets the solitary in families." Father, we pray that You would set these children firmly in the care of their mother, where they can thrive in Your love and protection. Guard their minds from the effects of parental alienation and custodial interference, and let them know the peace that only You can provide.

We must also address the spiritual battle at hand. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy families, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every spirit of deception, retaliation, and division that has been at work in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against this family shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we stand on the promise that truth will prevail. Father, we ask that You would bring repentance and conviction to any who have participated in falsehoods or harm, that they may turn from their ways and seek Your forgiveness.

To the mother in this battle, we say: do not grow weary in doing what is right (Galatians 6:9). The Lord sees your faithfulness, your love for your children, and your perseverance through this trial. He is your strength and your shield (Psalm 28:7), and He will not abandon you. Continue to trust in Him, lean on His understanding, and commit your ways to Him (Proverbs 3:5-6). Your children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), and He has entrusted them to your care. Stand firm in the knowledge that God is fighting for you, even when the battle feels endless.

We also encourage you to examine your own heart in this process. Are there areas where bitterness, anger, or unforgiveness may have taken root? Ephesians 4:31-32 urges us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Forgiveness does not mean excusing wrongdoing, but it does free your heart from the poison of resentment. Ask the Lord to help you release any bitterness so that you can parent your children with a spirit of grace and love.

Finally, we pray for the ex-spouse in this situation. Lord, we ask that You would soften their heart and open their eyes to the harm that has been done. If there is any remorse or willingness to change, we pray that You would work in their life to bring about repentance and restoration. However, if their heart remains hardened, we ask that You would remove their influence from these children in a way that aligns with Your will and protects them from further harm.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above all names, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). It is through His sacrifice on the cross that we have access to Your throne, and it is by His blood that we are forgiven and made righteous. We thank You for the victory that is already ours in Christ, and we declare that this custody battle will be resolved according to Your perfect will. Grant wisdom to Judge ###, bring healing to this family, and let Your glory be revealed in this situation. We trust in You, Lord, and we wait expectantly for Your justice to prevail. In Jesus’ holy and precious name, we pray. Amen.

We're standing right beside you, dear sister, as you wait for Judge ###'s ruling. We've been where you are, and we know the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with this long, exhausting journey. But remember, God is right there with you, every step of the way.

We're claiming Psalm 37:7 over your situation, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him." He sees you, He hears you, and He's working behind the scenes. Trust that He's got this, and He's going to bring justice to light.

Let's focus on the kids, too. They're the real victims here, caught in the crossfire of adult disputes. We're praying for their healing, their peace, and their understanding. We're asking God to wrap them in His loving arms and protect them from further harm.

And hey, it's okay to feel weary. It's okay to feel like you're at the end of your rope. But remember, God's strength is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Lean into Him, sister. He's your rock, your fortress, your shield. He's got you, and He's not going to let you fall.

We're also praying for your ex, that God would soften their heart and open their eyes to the truth. We're asking for repentance, for change, for restoration. But remember, God is in control. If their heart remains hardened, we trust that He will remove their influence from the kids' lives in a way that aligns with His will and protects them.

Keep fighting the good fight, dear sister. Keep trusting in God. And remember, you're not alone. We're here, praying with you, for you, and we're believing with you for that sole custody ruling and the healing of your family.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Let us bring before the Lord this mother who has fought for her children through nearly a decade of battles—through false allegations, retaliation, custodial interference, and the deep pain of parental alienation. She now stands at the threshold of justice, having completed her trial on March 4, 2026, and she waits faithfully for Judge Monica's ruling. We lift up this entire situation to You, the God of truth and the defender of the innocent.

Father, Your Word in **Psalm 82:3** commands us to "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed." We come before You asking for exactly this—defend these children, Lord. Uphold their cause. Let the truth that has been revealed in this trial be the foundation upon which every decision is made.

We pray specifically for Judge Monica as she considers this case. Grant her wisdom beyond her own understanding. As it says in **Proverbs 2:6**, "For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding." Pour out Your wisdom upon her, Lord, and let her see clearly what is best for these precious children. Guide her hand as she writes her ruling, and let justice roll down like waters.

Father, You know the long years this mother has endured—the false accusations, the interference, the alienation of her children from her heart. We ask now for restoration. Your Word promises in **Joel 2:25**, "I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten." Repay these years, Lord. Restore what has been stolen from this family. Heal the wounds that have been inflicted upon these children and upon their mother.

We pray for sole custody and sole legal decision-making to be granted to her, not as a victory of one parent over another, but as the establishment of stability, protection, and peace for these children. Let them be sheltered under her care, surrounded by love, and protected from further harm.

As she waits for this ruling, grant her supernatural peace. Remind her of **Isaiah 30:18**: "Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!" She is waiting for You, Lord, and we declare that she is blessed as she waits.

We thank You, Father, that You are the ultimate Judge, and that Your justice prevails over every earthly court. We trust these children, this mother, and this ruling into Your hands.

In the mighty and righteous name of Jesus,
Amen.
