'Just as Jesus Said' - Mark 14:13-16

[To prepare for the Passover meal,] Jesus sent two of [his disciples] into Jerusalem with these instructions: "As you go into the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him. At the house he enters, say to the owner, 'The Teacher asks: Where is the guest room where I can eat the Passover meal with my disciples?' He will take you upstairs to a large room that is already set up. That is where you should prepare our meal." So the two disciples went into the city and found everything just as Jesus had said, and they prepared the Passover meal there.

Mark 14:13-16 NLT

Key Thought

The disciples of Jesus "found everything just as Jesus had said" they would find things. What great comfort! And today, as we look back at the promises of Jesus, the fulfillment of Jesus' words in these verses is another reminder that we will find everything true, just as Jesus has promised us!

Today's Prayer

O Father in heaven, give me the faith to live passionately and confidently, knowing that all of Jesus' promises can be trusted. In the mighty name of the Lord Jesus, I pray. Amen.
