Joyous Affirmation: The Lord Hears Us!

Many of you have prayed for my son with bleeding ulcers being out of work for almost 2 months. I am praising the Lord in Jesus' name and thanking all of my prayerrequest.com friends: My son was cleared by his doctor to return to work tonight. Today is also his ###th birthday and I cannot think of a better way for him to celebrate! Thank you Lord for my family and especially today, the birth of my only son, and friends who have prayed so long and hard for relief for him and his family. Bless y'all!

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
