CHRISTMAS IS THE CELEBRATION OF THE
KEEPING OF A PROMISE, A SAVING PROMISE.
Just another holiday? I think not! It is OUR holiday, We call it Christmas. The very word means the birth of the Christ. The managers of this world have turned it into a time of debt and constantly encourage people to spend on credit. Slaves of WalMart, Target, Lowe's. etc.
The celebration of Christmas has become anything but what it is supposed to be. Christmas is to celebrate Christ's birth and to thank God for keeping His promise to us.
How do all the drunken parties, revelries, and immoral actions practiced honor the Spirit of Christmas?
I leave you with 2 Corinthians 6:17, which is not a suggestion, but a direct
order from God.
"Come you out from among them and be separate."
May the peace of God surround you on this Holy night! Take time to reflect on the true meaning of this celebration day. May God protect his children in the days to come as we bow down and worship with all of our might, all of our being, all of our spirit. I ask for blessings upon you all and may God touch your lives in new ways. Help me honor him on the day we celebrate his birthday. To God be the glory! Amen and amen.
