Beloved Warrior
🙇🏻 Father, thank You "through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures 📖 we have hope," Rom 15:4. "Is anyone among you suffering? let them pray," James 5:13. Jesus taught entire parables in to the end that, "we ought always to pray and not lose heart," Luke 18:1. So we, in faith and fervent sincerity, entreat You: "You who spared not Your Only Begotten Son, John 3:16, but delivered Him up for us all, how will You along with Him not graciously give us all things?" Rom 8:32. Renew our minds, speech and conduct to where we surrender to and comprehend the end goal of Your wisdom revealed through the multitude of inspired counselors to rejoice, have courage and be glad in tribulations, Matthew 5:11-12, John 16:33, Acts 5:41, Rom 5:3, Rom 8:18, 2 Cor 4:17, Heb 12:10-11, James 1:2-4, 1 Peter 4:12-13, Rev 2:10-11. Help us study to show ourselves approved, 2 Tim 2:15, meet pressing needs, read, listen to and receive wisdom from good biblical counseling material and the godly advice of friends and pastors, Ps 23:3, write and share prayers and teachings that benefit ourselves and others -- and may trials not hinder, but rather advance The Gospel and strengthen The Kingdom of Jesus, 2 Cor 4:11-13, 1 Thes 2:2. So kindly let our disposition be of that motivation, assisting You as Your Bride, Gen 2:17-18, helping it spread with power, love and full conviction and be received as it is -- the actual Word of God, the power of God for salvation, not coming from man, Gal 1:12, Rom 1:16, 2 Thes 2:13, not to us but Your Name be Glory, Ps 115:1, Eph 2:8-9.

Give Your angels charge over my son, his mother, us, our pastors and all of our prayer partners (including all our family members, friends and those You've ordained for us to reach, Eph 2:10-11), even angelic protection until we behold Your salvation, Ps 91:11-16, Heb 1:14. Sanctify us in the Truth, Your Word is Truth, John 17:17. May we clearly hear Your voice, John 10:27, being constantly led by The Holy Spirit (as adopted children with the same Father as Jesus and each other), Rom 8:14, and MOSTLY obeying Your voice, even if it's difficult or costs us something, Gen 22:16-18; 2 Sam 24:24. Keep us all from all sin, Zeph 3:13, temptation, evil, evil people and the evil one, Luke 11:4, Matt 6:13, 2 Thes 3:2-3, John 17:15 -- keep deception and lies far from us, Prov 30:8.

Again, allow trials to draw us, our families, friends, readers, prayer and financial partners closer to You in prayer, James 5:13 and literally pray and sing hymns to God after severe treatment and in hostile conditions as the Apostles chained in confinement recorded in Acts 16:25. Help us read, memorize and apply The Bible, Ps 119:11, with understanding, Lk 24:45, and application, James 1:21-22. Help me worship like Paul and Silas in the Philippian jail, Acts 16:25. Help us fast the fast You have chosen, really, by abiding in You Jesus, that we may learn the secret of bearing abiding fruit in each and situation, Phil 4:12-13, for truly apart from You we can do nothing of eternal significance, John 15:5 -- grant grace to abstain from food, eat pulse as Daniel, drink water, take supplements -- to use our spiritual weapons of power to bring down things that can't be brought don otherwise, Mark 4:29, strongholds and lofty thoughts being punished when our obedience is complete, 2 Cor 10:5-7. Loose bondages, set the oppressed free and restore righteous dwellings, safe cities and reformation of covenantal relationships, Isa 58:6-12. Help us count trials as joy, James 1:2-4, as we see these earthy improvements in our lives and the advancement of the Kingdom, as we press on to attain the New Creation, Rev 21:1-6, with You never leaving us or forsaking us through the process, Deut 31:8, Josh 1:5, Matt 28:20, Heb 13:5, and we who overcome will attain all this, Rev 21:7. Thank You in The Amen and faithful witness Name, in whom all the promises are Yes received by faith, John 3:16, John 6:29, Rom 9:16, Rom 9:30-32, Rom 10:2-11, Rom 11:20, Heb 4:2, Heb 13:5, 2 Cor 1:20, in Jesus' Name.

We hear your heartfelt cry and stand with you in agreement, lifting up these powerful petitions before the throne of grace. Your prayer is rich with scriptural truth, and we rejoice in the way you are seeking God’s will in every circumstance, especially in trials, which are not meant to break us but to refine us and advance His Kingdom. Let us join together in prayer and reflection, affirming what aligns with God’s Word and encouraging deeper trust in Him.

First, we must acknowledge that our hope is not in our own strength or wisdom but in the finished work of Jesus Christ. You rightly quote John 3:16 and Romans 8:32, reminding us that God did not spare His own Son but gave Him up for us all. This is the foundation of our faith, salvation by grace through faith in Jesus alone. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If anyone reading this has not placed their trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9-10). This is the first and most critical step in walking with God.

Your prayer beautifully captures the biblical perspective on trials. James 1:2-4 tells us to count it all joy when we face trials, knowing that the testing of our faith produces perseverance, and perseverance must finish its work so that we may be mature and complete, lacking nothing. Similarly, Romans 5:3-5 reminds us that suffering produces endurance, endurance produces character, and character produces hope, a hope that does not disappoint because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit. We pray that you and all who read this would embrace this truth, allowing trials to draw you closer to God rather than driving you away. Let your response to hardship be worship, as Paul and Silas did in the Philippian jail (Acts 16:25), for worship shifts our focus from our circumstances to the greatness of our God.

You also lift up the importance of hearing God’s voice and being led by the Holy Spirit. John 10:27 assures us that Jesus’ sheep hear His voice, and He knows them, and they follow Him. Yet how often do we struggle to discern His leading? We pray that you and all believers would cultivate a deep, abiding relationship with the Holy Spirit, testing every spirit to ensure it aligns with Scripture (1 John 4:1). Let obedience be your first response, even when it is costly, as Abraham demonstrated in Genesis 22. May you walk in step with the Spirit, bearing the fruit of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).

Your request for protection, both physically and spiritually, is vital. Psalm 91:11-12 declares that God commands His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways. We stand in agreement for angelic protection over you, your son, his mother, your pastors, and all those God has ordained for you to reach. Yet we must also remember that spiritual warfare is real. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil. We must put on the full armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that we may stand firm (Ephesians 6:13-17). Let us also rebuke the enemy’s lies and deception, for Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44), and his goal is to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we bind every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement in Jesus’ name.

Your emphasis on the advancement of the Gospel and the Kingdom is deeply encouraging. In 2 Corinthians 4:11-12, Paul writes, “For we who live are always delivered to death for Jesus’ sake, that the life of Jesus also may be revealed in our mortal flesh. So then death is working in us, but life in you.” Even in suffering, God uses our weakness to display His strength and bring life to others. We pray that your trials would not hinder the Gospel but rather serve as a testimony to God’s faithfulness. May your life, words, and actions point others to Christ, and may the Kingdom of God advance through you in power.

We also lift up your desire to study God’s Word, memorize it, and apply it. Psalm 119:11 says, “Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.” 2 Timothy 2:15 instructs us to study to show ourselves approved, rightly dividing the Word of truth. Let us be like the Bereans, who searched the Scriptures daily to see if these things were so (Acts 17:11). May the Holy Spirit open your eyes to understand the Scriptures (Luke 24:45), and may you meditate on God’s Word day and night (Joshua 1:8), allowing it to transform your mind (Romans 12:2).

Your prayer includes a call to fast and pray with purpose. Isaiah 58:6-9 describes the fast God has chosen: to loose the bonds of wickedness, undo the heavy burdens, let the oppressed go free, share your bread with the hungry, bring the poor into your house, and clothe the naked. When we fast, we humble ourselves before God and seek His face, not our own agendas. We pray that your fasting would be marked by repentance, dependence on God, and a heart to see His Kingdom come. May you experience the breakthrough that comes when we align our hearts with His will.

Finally, we rejoice in your focus on the hope of eternity. Revelation 21:7 promises, “He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.” This world is not our home; we are citizens of heaven (Philippians 3:20). Let this truth anchor your soul in every trial. As you press on toward the goal of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14), may you fix your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Philippians 1:6).

Let us now pray together in agreement:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Lord. We thank You for the gift of salvation, for the cross, and for the empty tomb. We thank You that in Christ, we are more than conquerors (Romans 8:37), and that nothing can separate us from Your love (Romans 8:38-39). Lord, we lift up every trial, every hardship, and every unknown before You, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

Father, we ask that You would renew our minds and transform us by the power of Your Word. Help us to count it all joy when we face trials, knowing that You are producing perseverance, character, and hope in us. Teach us to worship You in the midst of suffering, as Paul and Silas did, and to trust You even when the path is unclear. Let our lives be a living testimony to Your faithfulness, and may the Gospel advance through us in power and love.

We pray for protection over ###, his mother, our pastors, and all those You have placed in our lives to reach. Send Your angels to guard them in all their ways, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Deliver them from temptation, evil, and the schemes of the enemy. Sanctify them in Your truth, for Your Word is truth (John 17:17).

Lord, we ask that You would help us to hear Your voice clearly and to obey You promptly, even when it is difficult. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, and lead us in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake (Psalm 23:3). Help us to study Your Word diligently, to memorize it, and to apply it to our lives. May we be doers of the Word and not hearers only (James 1:22).

We declare that trials will not hinder the Gospel but will advance Your Kingdom. Use our lives to bring glory to Your name, and let Your light shine in the darkness. May we fast and pray with purpose, seeking Your face and Your will above all else. Loose the bonds of wickedness, set the oppressed free, and restore righteousness in our land.

Finally, Lord, we fix our eyes on eternity. We long for the day when we will see You face to face and dwell with You forever. Until then, help us to press on, to run with endurance the race set before us, and to keep our eyes on Jesus. Thank You that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5), and that in Christ, we are more than conquerors.

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We hear your heart for the Lord in every line, this is no shallow well you're drawing from. The longing for joy in trials, for prayer that doesn't lose heart, for the Word to take deep root and overflow into Kingdom advance… that's the Spirit's work in you, and it's a beautiful thing.

In seasons like this, when you're pressing into prayer, fasting, study, and worship all at once, it's easy to feel like you have to hold up the whole sky. We want to offer a gentle, steadying reminder: you aren't in this alone, and the outcome doesn't rest on your shoulders. The very disciplines you're practicing are means by which God strengthens you, but spiritual growth often happens quietly, underneath, like a tree sending roots deep into soil you can't see. The joy you're asking for isn't always an emotion; sometimes it's a settled confidence that God is at work even when you feel the weight of the fight.

One thing that has steadied many in similar seasons is simply to build in a few unhurried minutes each day to rest in God's presence without any agenda, no need to list needs or break strongholds in that moment, just to receive His love for you personally. That unhurried stillness often restores the joy we can't manufacture on our own, and refuels everything else.

We also want to honor the tangible ways you're walking this out. Know that we are praying alongside you, and we give thanks for the protection, sanctification, and Kingdom advance you've asked for.

Father, thank You for this faithful life poured out so earnestly before You. Sustain them through every trial, and anchor their joy not in circumstances but in Your steadfast presence. Protect their son, their mother, pastors, and all those they lift before You. Let them hear Your voice clearly, obey with gladness, and find that as they abide in You, the fruits of the Spirit grow in their lives and spill over into the lives around them. Strengthen their heart, and let them see glimpses of the Kingdom advancing. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Count it all joy when ye fall into divers trials, for these trials work out for you such signal, such lasting good. Trials are like a fire; they burn up nothing in us but the dross, and they make the gold all the purer. Put down the testing process as a clear gain, and, instead of being sorry about it, count it all joy when ye fall into divers trials, for this bestows upon you a proof of your faith. Our chief end is to glorify God, and if our trials enable us more fully to answer the end of our being it is well that they should happen unto us.

We must expect changes. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. The hours of the night will pass away in due course and the joys of the morning will recompense you for the sorrows of the season of darkness. There is one set of trials that we have and they develop a certain set of Graces. But God does not want His children to grow so as to have their arms twice as long as their toes! Higher yet, for however high you have ascended, you have dwelt long enough in that mountain and must advance to something higher and still better.

He who gets to his God is sure of joy. There was never a soul that was right with God and that was unhappy in the Presence of God. The children of God grow more precious through their trials and, being precious, they become objects of desire. This perseverance of the saints is perseverance in holiness: they shall not depart from me. Faith in the everlasting covenant stirs my heart's blood, fills me with grateful joy, inspires me with confidence, fires me with enthusiasm.

Nothing gives Him more joy than to have a saint resting completely upon Him without doubt or fear. He will say, Prayer Meetings, be a joy to those poor tried ones. Do you need more joy? Do you need full salvation? Do you need perfect rest? Behold, He says to each of you who can and do believe in Him, Be it unto you even as you will.

The righteous shall hold on his way. The purpose of God secures their final perseverance. They shall never perish. We may rest assured that they shall be preserved because of the effectual redemption which Christ has worked out for them. Let them always shout for joy. Let them be joyful in You. There is no monotony in real joy. Singing is the natural language of joy, but oftentimes silence suits it even better. He that has joy on his barn floor may see it bare! He that has joy in his wine vats may see them dry! He that has joy in his children may bury that joy in the grave! But the joy of the Lord remains. Be it unto you even as you will.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is good to see you weaving Scripture into your supplications, for the word of God is a lamp to our feet. But I would stir up your mind to consider what manner of life is required for such bold prayers to be heard. When we ask for joy in trials and the advancement of the Kingdom, we must be careful that our own heart does not harbor the very things that hinder that joy. For what is the joy we are to have in tribulations? Not a light-heartedness that ignores our sins, but a deep-seated hope that through these momentary afflictions we are being fashioned for an eternal weight of glory. Yet many cry out for deliverance and protection while living carelessly, unexamined, and even while they pray they hold onto envy or reviling in their heart. Do we then expect to be heard when we add to our other sins the further grievance of a lifeless prayer? We need much penitence, beloved, much perseverance, if we are to attain the good things promised.

You ask that trials might not hinder but advance the Gospel, and indeed this is the very pattern of the Apostles. See how Paul says that through their sufferings the life of Jesus was made manifest, and that death worked in them, but life in their converts. But notice that this came not from merely asking for the removal of hardship, but from enduring it with patience. Patience produces character, and character produces hope. If we are quick to seek angelic rescue and immediate relief, we risk aborting the work that God intends for our souls and for those who watch us. The true proof that the preaching is divine is not that we suffer no unpleasantness, but that we suffer yet are not overcome. So I urge you, when you are in the furnace, do not only pray for release, but also learn to hold fast your confidence firm to the end, that you may say with Paul: “We had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead.” This is the hope that does not put us to shame.

You mention singing hymns like Paul and Silas in the jail, and that is a noble ambition. But remember that their praise arose from hearts that had already been exercised in self-denial. They did not first seek comfort; they first offered their backs to the lash for the name of Christ. If we would have that same midnight song, we must first embrace the reproach He bore. Let us mourn over our sins now, that we may laugh with true joy then. For the joy of this world is always mingled with grief, but the joy to come is unmixed. It is purchased by choosing here what is profitable rather than what is pleasant, and bearing all things with thanksgiving. Write these truths in your minds; read them continually. Let your fasting and study be done not merely to secure earthly improvements or even the advancement of the Kingdom as you envision it, but chiefly to make your own soul a habitation fit for the King. For apart from Him you can do nothing of eternal worth, and you abide in Him by a life of repentance and obedience.

Do not think that having many companions in suffering will lighten the judgment if you are found among the negligent. The fire will not be cooler because others burn beside you; that very sight will be an aggravation of woe. Therefore, let your prayer be answered not by a swift exit from every trial, but by the renewing of your inner man day by day, that the life of Jesus may be plainly seen in your mortal flesh. Then your son, your family, and all your partners will indeed be comforted and find life through you, which is for a faithful teacher the highest reward. So stand fast in the Lord, and do not lose heart. Your perseverance is your victory, and by it you will inherit the promise.

You are not crushed, because what you carry isn’t yours to protect in your own strength. The treasure in that fragile clay pot is God himself, his life, his Spirit, his surpassing power, so the surpassing glory belongs to him. And that is exactly where you’ve placed it again. You’ve poured out words that refuse to let suffering be the last word. That is not the reflex of a hollow religion. That is the reflex of someone who knows the Voice and follows it.

The sheer weight of Scripture in your prayer follows the ancient poetry of faith: meaning built not by rhyme but by parallel, by contrast, by truth laid against truth until hope stands up in the middle of the storm. You set Romans 8:32 beside John 3:16, if he did not spare his own Son, how will he not freely give us all things? You lay the command to study alongside the call to write. You set the reality of chains beside the sound of hymns at midnight. That is the mind renewed. That is the secret of abiding: not white-knuckled endurance, but fruit that grows from a branch that simply stays attached to the vine.

What grieves the heart in darkness isn’t the pain alone. It’s the question mark at the end of every hope. Job looked at his decaying body and asked, Where is my hope? Who shall see it? His hope was a question. Yours is a person. Christ has been raised. The worms and the dust do not get the final word over your flesh, because the One who will stand on the earth at last has already spoken over you: The one who believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.

So when you ask for trials to advance the Kingdom and not hinder it, you are asking according to his revealed will. The purpose of prayer is never to bend his hand to our plan. The wisest prayer we can ever pray is, Father, your will be done in these circumstances, in this son, in this family, in this body. You have already laid that down. And when you ask not to be led into deception but to hear his voice clearly and obey it mostly, even when it costs you, you are not striving to earn love. You are doing the one thing the Father has always sought: worship that flows from a free heart, because you know you do not have to, but you want to.

Do not live in the past day of grief, trying to rewrite what cannot be undone. The horror of that memory has no power to define tomorrow. The hope you have makes a whole new kind of life possible, not denial, but defiance against despair. Sing, even in hostile conditions. Fast, not to impress flesh, but to loosen bonds and see righteousness restored. Trust that when you do not understand and cannot trace his hand, you can still rest in his heart, knowing all things work together for good because he said so.

He has given his angels charge over your son, over his mother, over you, over those who labor alongside you in prayer. That protection holds until you behold his salvation fully. And you who overcome, not by your own genius or grit, but by the blood of the Lamb and the word of your testimony, will inherit all this. The One who is the Amen and the faithful witness has made the promise. All the promises are Yes in him. Your life is in his hands now. Let him be in control, and rest there.
