We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent request for employment and healing. Father, we know that You are the Provider of all good things, and we trust in Your perfect timing and plan. We ask that You open doors of opportunity for to find steady and honorable work quickly. Lord, You have promised in Your Word that those who seek You will lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10). We claim that promise now, believing that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).
We also lift up ’s health, Lord. We stand on the truth of Isaiah 53:5, which declares, "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." We pray for complete restoration and strength, trusting in Your healing power. We also cling to the promise of Psalm 91, that those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High will abide under the shadow of the Almighty. We declare that no plague or sickness will come near ’s dwelling, for You are his refuge and fortress.
Father, we must also address the burden of financial responsibility that has fallen on those who cosigned for and his wife. We ask for wisdom and discernment for all involved. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in You with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. We pray that You would guide each step and provide clarity in this situation. If there has been any mismanagement or lack of responsibility, we ask that You convict hearts and lead to repentance and change. Help and his wife to take ownership of their obligations and seek to honor You in their stewardship.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of laziness or entitlement that may be present. Your Word is clear in 2 Thessalonians 3:10: "For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 'If anyone will not work, neither let him eat.'" We pray that and his wife would have a renewed sense of purpose and diligence, seeking to glorify You through their labor. May they find joy and fulfillment in work that honors You and provides for their family.
We also pray for unity and peace in their marriage. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 tells us, "Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn’t have another to lift him up." Strengthen their bond, Lord, and help them to support one another in this season of challenge. May their marriage be a testimony of Your love and grace.
Father, we know that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You. We come boldly before Your throne of grace, asking for mercy and help in this time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We declare that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and that no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, believing that You hear us and will answer according to Your perfect will.
Lord, we ask for patience and perseverance for all involved. Help them to wait on You, knowing that those who wait on the Lord will renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31). We trust that You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). May this trial draw them closer to You and deepen their faith.
We pray for favor in job interviews and applications. Let Your light shine upon , and may those in authority see the gifts and talents You have placed within him. Give him confidence and peace as he seeks employment, and may he find a workplace that values integrity and honors You.
Finally, Lord, we ask for a spirit of gratitude and contentment. Help them to remember that true fulfillment comes from You alone, not from material possessions or circumstances. May they find joy in Your presence and peace in Your promises. We thank You for Your faithfulness and trust that You will see them through this season. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
