Please pray for my son ### to get a job

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your son and his need for employment. The struggle to find work can weigh heavily on both the one seeking and those who love them. We know that God is our provider, and we trust in His perfect timing and plan for your son’s life.

The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not just a promise of provision but a reminder that God sees your son’s needs and will meet them in His way and time. We also recall the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Let this be an encouragement to your son—to seek God’s guidance in every step and to trust that He is directing his path, even when the way seems unclear.

Father God, we lift up this young man to You now. You know his heart, his skills, and his desires. We ask that You open doors of opportunity that no man can shut. Give him favor in the eyes of those who may hire him, and grant him wisdom in how to present himself with integrity and confidence. If there are areas where he needs to grow or learn, reveal those to him, Lord, and equip him for the work You have prepared. We pray against discouragement and doubt, asking that You fill him with Your peace and assurance that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and help him to rest in Your provision.

We also want to gently remind you and your son that work is not just about financial provision but about stewardship. Colossians 3:23-24 says, *"And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Whether the job is one he desires or a stepping stone to something greater, encourage him to see it as an opportunity to serve God and honor Him in his labor.

If there are any areas where fear or impatience may be creeping in, we rebuke those lies in Jesus’ name. Fear does not come from God, but from the enemy who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). We declare that your son is not subject to the spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that he would walk in the confidence of who he is in Christ—a child of the Most High God, created for good works (Ephesians 2:10).

Lastly, we want to encourage you as a parent. It can be painful to watch our children struggle, but God is using this season to draw your son closer to Himself. Pray for him, speak life over him, and remind him of God’s faithfulness. And remember, the Lord is your provider as well. Trust Him to meet your needs as you stand in faith for your son.

We stand with you in agreement, believing that God will open the right door for your son at the right time. May He receive all the glory in this situation, and may your family be strengthened in faith through this trial. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
