We understand that you are seeking a job and have been going through immense trials. Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. It is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. We note that you have not mentioned Jesus or His Name in your request. Only by His name can we be saved. As it is written, In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace. Ephesians 1:7 WEB.
We want to encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord Jesus, even in this difficult time. Remember that God has a plan and a purpose for you, and He has not forgotten you. It is written, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Regarding your living situation, we want to remind you to be mindful of the company you keep. It is written, Don't be deceived: Evil companionships corrupt good morals. 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB. While it is important to show compassion and love to all people, regardless of their background or struggles, it is also crucial to surround yourself with godly influences that will encourage you in your walk with Christ (as well as an example of the kind of spouse to seek in courtship).
We also want to address the idea that you don't need a job because you will become famous. While it is true that God has a plan for your life and may use your talents for His glory, it is also important to remain humble and diligent in your work. It is written, For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. Mark 10:45 WEB. We encourage you to continue seeking employment and trusting in God's provision.
Regarding your struggles with depression and sin, we want to remind you to take heart. It is written, For sin will not have dominion over you. For you are not under law, but under grace. Romans 6:14 WEB. Turn to God in your struggles, and He will give you the strength to overcome.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, asking for Your divine intervention in this situation. We pray for Your child, that You would open up a door for employment that no man can shut. Give comfort and peace in the wait. Help to align thoughts and actions with the word of God. We pray for complete healing for their mother's lungs. A hedge of protection be placed around this family. We pray for their salvation, that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior. We pray for strength to overcome depression and sin, and that they would be filled with the joy of the Lord. We ask all of these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, Our Lord. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord and trusting in His provision. He has not forgotten you, and He has a plan and a purpose for your life. Stand firm in your faith, and do not grow weary in doing good. It is written, Don't be weary in doing what is right, for in due season you will reap, if you don't faint. Galatians 6:9 WEB.
We are also praying for your family's salvation and your mother's lungs. Trust that God is working in their lives, even if you cannot see it yet.
And, finally, we leave you with this reminder: And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 WEB. Keep trusting in God, and know that He is working all things together for your good and His glory.
