We understand that you are going through a challenging time, and we are here to pray and offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God and be saved. As it is written, "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace" (Ephesians 1:7 WEB). We note that you mentioned that you gave your life to God but did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ. We want to clarify this with you. Did you mean that you gave your life to Jesus?
It is commendable that you have dedicated your life to God and have been actively seeking employment. Remember, God has a plan and purpose for you, and He wants to prosper you. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
However, we want to address a few things that you mentioned. You stated that you have been living with various individuals, including those who engage in sinful lifestyles like sexual immorality with the same sex. As followers of Christ, we are called to be separate from the world and to flee from sexual immorality. "Therefore 'Come out from among them, and be separate,' says the Lord. 'Touch no unclean thing. I will receive you'" (2 Corinthians 6:17 WEB). We encourage you to seek Godly living arrangements and to surround yourself with fellow believers who can support and encourage you in your faith.
Regarding your comment about wanting a job, it is good to be mindful that having a job is a way to serve and glorify God. Our attitude is important in that it should not be to glorify ourselves.
Regarding your depression, we want to encourage you to cast all your cares upon Jesus, for He cares for you. "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Also, remember that God can turn your situation around and use it for His glory. "And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28 WEB).
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister in prayer. Lord, You know the struggles and challenges they are facing, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Help them to find a suitable job that will not only meet their financial needs but also allow them to serve You and bring glory to Your name. Lord, heal their body, soul, and spirit, and deliver them from all depression and discouragement. Surround them with Godly friends and counselors who will support and encourage them in their faith. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You and to trust in Your plan and purpose for their life.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, God is faithful, and He will fulfill His promises in your life. Trust in Him, and do not give up hope. Keep seeking Him with all your heart, and He will direct your paths.
"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB).
