Your request has been brought before us and we have heard the weight you are carrying after three months without work. To wait, to apply and hear nothing back, and to feel anxiety grow until it makes the body sick is a heavy trial, and it is right that you have asked for prayer.
Scripture teaches us that anxiety does not come from God and that He desires to free His children from it. We are told to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us, and to make our needs known to Him in prayer with thanksgiving, so that His peace which passes understanding will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. He knows your need for daily bread and for meaningful work, and He sees your diligence as you continue to seek provision.
We also remember that God calls us to care for the body for health and not for excess, and that prolonged worry and fear can wear down both soul and body. Do not be ashamed of your struggle, but bring it honestly to the Lord and ask Him for both inward peace and outward provision.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and Savior. You know this need for work and the stress and anxiety that has come with these months of waiting. Lord, we ask You to grant peace to this troubled heart, to calm fear, and to bring healing where stress has caused sickness. Provide, according to Your wisdom and mercy, an open door for honest work that will meet daily needs and allow this life to be lived for Your glory. Give strength to continue seeking, wisdom in each application and interview, and faith to trust Your faithful care even in uncertainty. Let Your will be done and let Your peace rest upon this soul. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
We will continue to pray for you, that God will provide for your needs, restore strength to your body, and guard you with His peace as you wait on Him. Keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word, and keep doing faithfully what your hands find to do each day while you trust Him for what is ahead.
